And he missed. "DANGIT!!" Zane yelled. He had just given his position away. Now, it was hand to.... um..... paw combat. He whipped 2 silver knives. "BRING IT ON DEMONSPAWN!" He yelled

Miguel nodded, trying to hold onto an expression of duty, rather than affection. he muttered, "alright. good." he kept following Margo down the corridor.

Echo held onto Miguel and nodded shyly.

MArgo smiled, "I'll send a maid soon to help you." Margo left down the dark hallway.
Echo, knowing Margo was clearly away now, suddenly grabbed Miguel and kissed him on the mouth.

Miguel had started to help her over, until she kissed him. after a moment, and after his mind had registered it, he kissed her back.

Echo thought that it was just ehr imagination, but when he kissed back, her entire world wavered. She felt warmer and she brought her weakened arms around him, "I...I've been...waiting...for this...."

Echo smiled as her mouth was pressed more firmly against his mouth. His touch made her stuberness revert to that of a newborn pup.

Miguel sort of mimicked what she did, more or less. he, too, smiled a little. he was slowly mellowing out, as he'd been a little paranoid up until then.
