Ivy nodded at her uncle's thought of cutting the beast open.
"There might be away, but it might have to be done from the inside, or we just wait for the others to face their fears. Otherwise, I don't know what else to do. But I'll promise you this uncle, if I do get eaten by that thing, before I face my fears, I'll risk the others and destroy the thing from the inside out, even if it kills me in the process."

"Luna! NO!" D shouted as he stopped dead in his tracks when Luna broke from his grasp. He watched in fear as she went after Von Hellsing. No! Why did she have to do that! They just needed to run, to run far, far away and never look back, just like he had done in real life. After he had witnessed his mothers death he had sensed the men coming for him. He had little time to mourn his mother before he was running for his life. And he had kept running, the rest of his life he had kept on the move in fear of Hellsing capturing him. Its why he traveled why he never became attached to anyone. "Bloody feline!" Hellsing cried out in pain as he reached for the kitten. He had some issue with grabbing her, he only managed to rip out tuffs of her fur. It wasnt until Hellsings men came to join him that he was, with their help, able to tear Luna from him. He grabbed her and held her by the tuft of her fur behind the neck and glared at her. "You insolent little creature! Things like you only deserve one thing!"
Before Luna knew it a cloth bag went over her frame and she was quickly tied up and spun around for sheer enjoyment, while Hellsing and the others laughed. "I think a drowning is inorder for this rabbid feline."
"NO! You let her go!" D shouted, tears streaming down his face once more. Anger replaced his fear and his eyes turned back to their crimson state. "You let her go!" D shouted but as he did his emotions took the form of a shadow bubble, it surrounded the youth. D threw his head back and roared, the shadow bubble burst outward and knocked back the men, causing them to drop poor Luna in the bag.
D rushed the men, claws and fangs extended and his gaze hungry for revenge. He tore into Hellsing and his men, blood spattered everywhere and soon coated D himself. D didnt stop either, even long after Hellsing was dead... he just kept tearing into his corpse sending blood everywhere.

Radu looked to Ivy and shook his head with a light laugh. "Let us hope that you do not get eaten then. I would hate for this all to end with just a large boom. Besides, I don't think you could handle past memories too well. I do wonder if Grazz feeds off of those horrible memories. Of course, they also say that if you want to pull someone out of a coma, you need to try and reach them. I wonder, if you were to yell, would they hear you?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Nyow!!" The feline hissed and growled as her fur was pulled off, but she continued biting and scratching him until his men came to help him. Even when she was grabbed, she still moved around by swinging her backend around. she didn't like the fact that she couldn't get at him anymore, but that didn't stop her from swinging her paws and trying to grab him.
When the sack covered her, she really began to freak out. Small spaces and her had never been good friends. And once the swinging started, she was just getting dizzy. This wasn't fun. not one little bit. Her ears twitched when she heard some screams and a crying boy. Once the bag was dropped, she laid there inside of it for a while, feeling too sick to even move.
It took a good few minutes before the feline started moving once more. She pulled at the sack, trying to get it open, but was having some difficulty. "Nya? D? D are you still out there?" She rolled onto her back and tried pushing the sack open with her paws. Finally she freed herself. Luna crawled out, though she was walking funny from being dizzy.
When she came out, she noticed D covered in blood that belonged to hellsing and his men. Luna moved over to D and pressed her paws against his back. "D, it's over, you killed him, you can stop now..."

Ivy thought for a moment.
"I think I could only do that if I talked to them telipathically. otherwise i don't think it would work, but you can try it if you wish."

D spun, his eyes still ablaze with anger when Luna touched him. He picked her up, his hands around her torso started to squeeze her and he growled at her for a few seconds before his eyes faded to blue. 'Dead? Over?" He said confused, before looking over his shoulder at the corpses.
Ds eyes went back to Luna and his grip on her relaxed suddenly before he cradled her close. He hugged the kitten and kept her close, his bloody claws running lightly through her fur in attempt to sooth himself.
"Ive feared him and his bloodline my whole life. I ran from my home to avoid being captured. I couldnt even help my father or give my mother a proper burial. I had nothing but the clothes on my back..." As D began to spill the beans on his past the world around them became covered in a blanket of snow and soon their whole world was white...
"I just kept running.." D said as he cuddled into Luna. "I never looked back. I was always afraid that if i stopped running i would be captured by Hellsing. I never knew what became of my father until much later." D said softly. "Ive never been that scared in my lifetime aside from that night.... and....two others..."
The world suddenly changed at Ds words and he ground beneath him suddenly became crimson. Blood filled the room, up to Ds knees and D himself changed once again. He was a bit older now, about mid teens, the blood on him was gone, and he wore a white button down shirt with ebony dress up pants and boots.
"Theyre both when i lost control of my bloodlust...' D said, his voice sounding more like his usual tone, and a bit older, though it was still young.

"You could always try. It can't be much worse than trying to communicate in this wretched castle." Radu looked around the room and grumbled as he placed his blood blade tip down against the ground. He started leaning on it in a nonchalant fashion as he waited for the others to emerge from the beast.
------------------------------------------------------------------
"Reow!!" The boy sure could squeeze hard. The small feline felt like her spine was about to snap in half as she tried moving from his grip but he was squeezing too tight. She coughed and tried to catch her breath until he released his grip. She took a few deep breaths as he craddled her close to him. She had to make sure she stayed out of his grip when he lost himself again.
Luna looked up to D and placed her paws flat against her chest. She turned her head and began licking what blood she could from his hands as he pet her fur. It didn't matter to her, the blood wouldn't be something that would show on her black fur, and he needed to feel something soft.
She turned her head up to him as D told her about what had happened in the past. Her ears twitched and laid back slightly as her tail flicked left and right. "It is horrible what happened. But you shouldn't blame yourself for running away. You were young, still a child and something like that would scare anyone. You may be a great vampire hunter, but everyone was a child at one time. And when you are a child you are not built to handle something as horrible as that. You running away was just you actually being human. I know you hide alot of your emotions now because you don't want them getting the best of you. Heck, I do the same thing, but you cannot blame yourself because of those emotions."
She looked up at him and squirmed lightly until her tongue could grace his cheek in an attempt to comfort him. "D, bloodlust isn't something that only vampires go through. I've gone through it as well, and humans do too. You may not be mortal in the same sense that humans are, but that doesn't mean that you are different from them emotionally. Though, I'm not going to claim that controlling something like that is easy." She looked up at him now that he was older. She looked around to see if she could see where they were now.
"Apparantly, that wasn't the only memory you will have to face." She leapt up onto his shoulder and rubbed her head against his cheek. "Take heed D, You may not have Dag at the moment but as long as I am here I promise I won't let anything hurt you." She purred confidently as she looked on ahead. "You're strong D. Don't ever doubt that. I know you will pass all of these with flying colors and beat Grazz's rear end!"

D was silent for a bit even after Luna had given her little pep talk. He was quiet, as was the sea of blood just below his knees. He stood there, arms at his sides still as a statue, watching the blood. After a painfully long silence D spoke up.
"But im not like them..." D said softly as the blood began to ripple. "I have his blood running through me. That already sets me apart from vampire and human kind as it is, despite my mothers heritage. Though i do believe it has been her blood that has kept me from becoming like my father." D said, not moving a inch or taking his eyes off of the blood sea.
"As much as i may try or dont try i could never fit in with mortals. I even tried for sometime when i was a teen..." The blood sea started to grow choppier as D remembered his past and Grazzak latched onto Ds fear. "I found this family in my travels. They took me in and started raising me like one of their own. They didnt know what i was, though they did find my pointed ears and pale skin strange. They just thought it a genetic defect." D said with a light smile, that family had been so kind to him after all.
"They had a child too, a young girl, around the same age as me. You see this was a few decades after i had run from Hellsing and his men. I had been living in the forest, feeding off of the wildlife and staying away from anything that resembled a mortal. It wasnt until i hit my teen years that i longed to see others of my own kind. But i didnt know who that was exactly... i needed to find myself, but in order to do so i needed to have a safe haven."
The Blood started to splash up and lap at Ds upper legs and lower torso. "I kept to myself as much as possible, i kept myself immersed in books or physical labor. And i kept control of my bloodlust by feeding off the livestock as well as the forest creatures that lived near the farm." D said, just as some of the blood around him shot upwards into the sky and started to form trees, the farm he was talking about, the grass and everything else his memory was running through right now.
"The young girl was around my age, and like most women ive come across in my travels she started to fall for me.... and i.." D went silent suddenly as the blood faded into the farm and outer forest. It had also formed a figure in the distance, a young girl in a beautiful yellow dress, with long crimson hair flowing in the summer breeze. Sun lit up the area, along with the smell of spring. "..i fell for her." D said as his eyes met the beautiful face of the girl who was smiling at him.
'D! come on its right over here a special place just for the two of us!" The girl said as she pointed over a small hill.
"I never gave them my real name... only the first letter. I had to shed everything from my past if i had wanted to fit in with them."

"Mortals, vampires, halfbreeds, barbaroi, were's, we are all the same in a sense. We are all just trying to get by in a world that seems to have no answers to the questions that we ask. That is your problem D, you think you are seperated, alone. Sure, there may not be many of your kind out there, but you are not alone. Dagger should have taught you that. And if he hasn't, then perhaps you need to take a few steps back and look at all that has happened once again." Luna looked around as the blood began to form scenery.
She turned her head over to the girl then looked to D. "She's very pretty...You said that you lost your bloodlust didn't you? I take it this was another of those times..." Luna gulped herself this time. AS if watching D's past triggered some faint horrible memories of her own. She knew the pain of loosing everything, only to gain it back and loose it once more. Though she wasn't willing to admit that.

"Wait what?" D said as Lunas earlier words sank in finally. The scene before them froze suddenly as D forgot the painful memory and focused on Daggerfang. They were the same, but that was the problem, D feared becoming attached again. He feared.. companionship, feared loosing control of everything he had built up. And yet he longed for the presence of another, especially one like Dag, they were both just as tortured, just as outcasted.
You fear being alone... Whispered a voice on the air, as the scene before them melted back to a blank white mass. D himself changed once again, back to himself, back to his old self, hat cape, sword and scythe all returned to him.
But you fear companion ship even more.. Another voice whispered as figured came into view, people from his past, the red headed girl, a teen boy with blonde hair, another victim of Ds bloodlust. More appeared and started to surround D, who grew tense and whose heartbeat gave away his inner fear.
"No.." D said fear tainting his voice.
Yes thats it... thats your worst fear isnt it? A third voice chuckled as Martial Arts Masters emerged from the white void, Scholars emerged, children, and eventually Doris, Lina, and every other woman and man he had helped along his travels.
'Stop it..' D said as he reached for his sword, his voice faltering, as everyone whom had ever meant even the littlest bit to him surrounded him.
Youve done it to yourself...
Forced yourself to put up these icy barriers and yet people still keep chisleing their way in dont they?
You wouldnt know what to do with yourself if you let yourself get attached again.... it would drive you insane wouldnt it? Itd scare you to the very marrow of your bones..
'Stop it. Stay away!" D growled as the group surrounding him started to close in on him. D withdrew his sword but didnt attack instead he acted like a scared dog backed into the corner, teeth barring and snarling, he would only attack if he had to.

Luna sat up on D's shoulder and looked at his reaction to everything. She shook her head. "There are times when we are afraid of loosing what we become close too. But if you don't make a leap, if you don't loose your fear of loosing those close to you, then your life will be full of more pain and sorrow. Trust me, I know this from personal experiance. It's natural to be scared, and it's natural for you to loose control of your bloodlust. But don't think on the fear of loosing them. Everyone dies, and people come and go as mere shadows. In the end, all we really have are our memories. Even if someone leaves, you should cherish the time you had with them, think of the good times instead of the bad.
You and Dagger are one in the same. But you shouldn't be afraid to be his friend. Even if you have tried hiding your emotions, everyone knows that you consider him to be a dear friend if not more. Don't be afraid to care about people D...As of this moment, that's all you have, and in life, that's all you ever have. And despite that, you have people who care about you. If you continue to run this fear will sweep over you and you will never feel even a shred or ounce of happiness. I've lost people too, it still pains me to think of their losses, but I remember the good times. Heck, I've even had a blast with everyone in this castle, and I am willing to call you all dear friends. So don't let this fear take you."

"But.. " D eased up a bit as everyone continued to close in on him. He looked to Luna from out of the corner of his eye. "...the world is theirs. We dont belong in it. We took the world from them, we destroyed everything they had. We dont deserve happiness, we dont deserve to be here..." D said, before adding. "We are nothing but transient guests..."

"You are wrong. Whether you believe in god or not we are all apart of the same universe. We are all here for a reason. You can call it fate, destiny, whatever you like. But everyone has a right to be happy. Alot of those people forfit this right by doing evil deeds. But you are not evil D, and just because you are different, and your father is a vampire, that does not mean that you deserve to be alone. Besides, not all vampires are evil. I am sure you have seen this on your travels. Everyone is apart of this world, we all feed from one another. Vampires feed from blood of the living, and the living feed on the meat of the dead. HAve you never thought that perhaps vampires are here for a reason other than killing?" She looked to him as he eased up.
"It was not just vampires who destroyed the world, humans started destroying the world long before. They continue to destroy the world. Most humans do not think of the earth as a living being. So you cannot blame destruction on the world solely on vampires. Because everyone has a hand in it."

NO stop it little feline!
Keep out of this! The voices hissed.
D lowered his sword and the people around him cried out in pain as they began to dissolve into shadow. Luna had a point, and it was everything D already knew but feared to face. He had nothing to say in response to her, in fact his expression was similar to that of a child who had just been scolded after over reacting to everything. Shadows swirled around him, unable to take form. Grazzak couldnt find anything in D to make him afraid anymore and he was desperately searching for something.

She ignored the voice and nudged his cheek with her face. "You know it's true D. Fears are apart of emotions, but there are times when you have to stop running from them and learn that there is more than what you initially thought. I am sure even those in your past, do not blame you for anything. No one here does."
She looked around and noticed Grazzak swirling around. "He is trying to find something else that you fear, but he can't find it. You've done well D, and I am sure everyone will be proud of you. But now..shall we go find the others that he swallowed? Or do you just want to cut him open from the inside?"

Lunas little nudge to his cheek sent a spark throughout his body. Afterall how long had it been since he had been held, been touched lovingly or even softly? Doris came to mind...
There was a beasts roar and the world faded away and revealed Grazzaks insides. The place or rather gut of Grazzak was expansive, dark and vile smelling. "I dont want apraisal i just want to get out of here. I want this to end.." D said softly as he gripped his sword tighter.
The sword lit up with sunlight and D reached for the Scythe on his back. "Well do both." D said as he advanced forward, as he did he cut and slashed at Grazzaks insides.
