Mike cleared his throat and stood straight remembering this man from before. A mission would be exactly what he needed to help keep calm.

((Yes.))
"Nah," Rufus said. "Just came to hang out." He made his way into the room and sat down against the wall, presumably to listen.

"Don't make a martyr of yourself," Anatoly replied simply. He stood and began to carefully shape a new CALTROPNADE in his hand.

Mike leaned back against the wall and sunk down. He was hoping the would keep him busy, but apparently not. He always found it the easiest way to try and keep calm after having to tell that story.

"You throw that in here, and a venus flytrap will be sprouting in your heart," Rufus yawned. "At least, as long as I'm in the room, you don't throw."

Z took in Mike's story in seriously. "Well that sucks." He finally reviewed. He was excited at the prospect of a mission but was disappointed when he found out that Rufus was just being a creepy old guy. "So do you have any instructions for my training?" He asked turning to Rufus.

((Old?! Rufus is only a little older than Anatoly!))
"Pff. No. Training isn't my job."

"Rufus, I'm figuring out how to make these things explode only one direction. If you don't like that... well, there's plenty of time to leave while I figure out how to do that," Anatoly replied.

Mike summoned up his ice sword and stood back up trying to distract himself. "Have you seen my new trick?" he asked Rufus.

((Z thinks Anatoly is old too. xp ))
"Oh come on. Just give me something I can do that would be beneficial to my training." He asked giving Rufus an unhappy look.

Rufus leaned his head back against the wall and put a hand over his eyes. "Jeez, you three are so perfect together. All so whiny." He looked to Anatoly first. "Field experiments of that variety are not tested in the presence of other trainees. They are to be conducted alone, or with the aid of a trainer. Violation of this rule results in loss of Sticker." Next was Mike. "Yes. A useful trick, and one with many applications. You need to work on stamina, however." Lastly, Z. "Dude, I just said that I'm not a trainer. I'm hard put enough to just do my job, without doing Wilde's."

Mike had been hoping that Rufus hadn't, but apparently he was too late for that. At Wilde's name he flinched and glanced over at Anatoly waiting for his reaction.

Z gave an annoyed look at Anatoly and then at Rufus. "Wilde is Out of Order at the moment. I'm new to this and I would prefer not to scar my perfect body on a mission. This requires me to get really good at using my mysticker and I don't know if there are any tricks I am missing." He said glaring at Rufus. "YOu sitting there is not helpful. Make yourself useful. Help." He stated more than requested.

"I'll head a room over then when I figure out what I want to do with this damn thing," Anatoly replied. "Nice of you to warn me about these rules in advance." He tossed the caltrop onto the ground, where it simply sat where it fell. Without him actively forming the alternating ice and water layers, then freezing the water, the caltrops were not volatile at all.

"I am well aware of Wilde's condition," Rufus said, his voice cold and smooth. "I am, after all, the head of the Infirmary. Which means that everyone who comes through relies on me to keep them alive. Which means that when you do get all mangled up on a mission, I'm going to remember exactly how our previous encounters went." He looked at Z evenly. "So. Would you like to revise what you say to me?"
