There's nothing silly about passing out because of the sight of blood...then again, I've never done it. Speaking of blood, there was a stabbing at the bus depot in the downtown core...some 16yr old gutted someone else apparently over something stupid...I didn't even know this when I stepped on the blood splatter when going to buy my tickets.

Blood doesn't really bother me. I have a much harder time with vomit because the smell make me want to heave as well.
That's really terrible about the stabbing. People can be so awful.

I'm pretty much the same as you, Cam. Usually when someone's bleeding my first thought is, 'Come here, let me patch that up for you' but I can't get too near vomit because the smell is just... errrg.

That's a really good point. 3nodding If you notice an item that is ridiculously low, be sure to mention it on the Marketplace Watchers thread so more of us can snap one up before they go back to normal! *cackle*

Yeah, I've tried to remember but I have a bad habit of forgetting it. xd

I was at a fair today again. Today it was pet, countryside and handicraft fair. There were pet products, pet exhibitions, all sorts of organic foods and products, crafts shops and of course cows, sheep and so on. xp It was fun and I found all sorts of interesting little stuff. Also it was hilarious to listen the conversations of a true city persons when they saw a cow. whee

LOL. we went to a park in st. louis and my siblings and i about died when they'd say "to your left is an elk" and we'd look and there was this scrawny , sorry excuse of an elk and everyone is snapping photos. i was bad and made a comment "what that dog over there?". i'm from the country and it was just sad. my grandma was so excited to take us to this place. she got all excited that we'd get to milk a cow. ummm. one of my best friends lives on a dairy farm and i've seen cows milked thanks. was definatly a place for city kids. it was cute how excited she was to take us there though.

i did go to a craft fair today where the items were made from different countries and all sales went to a charity. i found me some earings and a bracelet from india for my mom for christmas.

As a kid, I spent almost all of my summers at my grandparents farm so seeing a cow is not a big deal to me but it was so fun to walk around and listen what people talked. I think it was good that they did that fair because I think it's sad if even a grown up can't make a difference between a cow and bull. sweatdrop

I love going to fairs because you can always find some interesting stuff from there. I found some hand made butter knives and a beautiful necklace from a stand that was selling Celtic and Scottic jewlellery. I would of wanted to buy the whole stall empty, but the stuff is real silver so they weren't of course cheap. I love to use pendants that have a story. We have bit similar pendants in here and they are made by Kalevala. They make the pendants according to the old jewels they've find in archaeological excavations and by the old "folk knowledge" of all the different old gods and so on.

When I was a kid I spent a few summers at a relative's farm too. I'm mostly a child of suburbia but those summers did teach me quite a bit. Once you help a farmer assist a cow giving birth, you are changed forever. rofl That and the fact that I still have scars from when I was spurred by a rooster protecting his hens.
