Well SoulCalibur 4's story mode is short and very unexplaining.
Normally a story mode consists of 8 - 10 stages
In Soulcalibur 4 there's five.
SoulCalibur 3 also had a "story" mode that combined Tactics, Fighting and Roleplay elements in it and had a great story where a Character you create fights in the frontline of a kingdom.
SoulCalibur 4 has a "Tower of Souls" that are various stages that you need to complete to progress.
Versus Is same old but with the Lack of "Team battle" ( picking fighters and having a group of up to eight to go against your friend group)
Character Creation is a definite improvement but if you want a super fighter you need to make him look like a tard as all the clothes have pros and cons when it comes to attack, defence and health, as well as allowing you to use skills.
The game is also quite unsorted and most of the time when I unlock something I need to use ten minutes to find it rather then to go to the "Shops" that were in SoulCalibur 3
SoulCalibur 3 was great
SoulCalibur 4 feels like a step backwards rather then forwards.
Thats extremely dissapointing for me to hear.. or read in this case. A lot of video games coming out recently have been taking these steps backwards. They need to hire new developers or fire some old ones.. cause no one is really making any progress..
Like.. they made another Little Mermaid movie.. I was so astounished to see a commercial for it. Its like pagitism under the sea. No singing, music, or dancing is allowed? .. People have lost their creativity sparks.
