I don't get how the heck Kuro won according to time out with a post saying he owed me a post, but it's just as well. Sorry for being late about it, but I really need to pull out of this thing. I've just lost interst.

Vincent. V Ex-~ Edit: Snow: Your character is some ice/water elemental hybrid, right? If in future you come up against someone who tries to melt your ice then just switch to using water and dump a large quantity on them, if it doesn't put'em out then being boiled alive is fast to follow. lol Fire elemental =/= Immune to high temeratures. >.>
Duly noted. Thanks for the tip.
<.<
Though I have the doubt that the naive opponent would just submit to that - for all I care, they're going to find another counter while yawning their lazy heads off.

Still. Let's see how it works the next time I use it. domokun

Say, I've been curious.. Snow, have you been referring to me any about that? XD The only reason I had any real legit 'armor of fire', so to speak, would be the fact that my 'serpents' literally stem from my blood and travel through the pores of the skin; thus, making a viable "shield" if ignited some inch off the exterior of the flesh. It wasn't impenetrable though, as I was wounded to a weakened degree by the 'pikes' so to speak; received more impact damage than anything, really.
And Vincent, also don't forget, even if the fire is hot enough to manage to evaporate the water - hot enough steam'll roast the flesh off someone's bones. So yeah, something of that sort'd work real well against a cookie-cutter fire user. XD "Hey, I'll just make the water BURN AWAY! ^-^" "Hey! Your skin's being charred off your muscle tissue!" "Hey! . . . Oh. Oh ********. Uhm.. Uh.. Oh. Oh, okay."
However, it wouldn't work near as well against my character, for reasons I'm sure you noticed in our match itself, Snow. =P There's no reason for my character to try and counter/beat water, lest it be some kind of unnatural water [I.E. "water" in appearance & name only, not a union of hydrogen & oxygen.] Only situation that worked out badly for me, was when I once was thrown into a conflict involving someone whom literally flooded the grounds some 12' above sea level in the region my character found himself in.
Overkill doesn't always equate safety for the guy doing it. crying

Let us merely assume that I'm talking to the naive portion of fire users. Those who use extravagant abilities to brush off some damage as if it's nothing to be afraid of in the beginning. gonk
And the roasting part sounds lovely.... As long as the opponent has some flesh, that is. Or if they're some walking armor, ethereal b*****d that can instantaneously shift from one point to the next -- *Remembers Vercellius's motion with the plane shift*
I know that you were planning to waste the water into pure hydrogen, and then combust it right at my face Omi. Why else do you think I didn't use water to the fullest? xP

I apologize for my lack of posting (to both Tac and Nightsnow wink I've tried to post for Snow as much as possible, but I haven't had time to even begin thinking about my fight w/ Tac. Babysitting and then work and papers... college life is fun. If at all possible, Tac or Vintrict, I would like request a post extension until this evening (Monday, 4/16). If I don't have a decent post for you then, you can boot me... however, I need to finish these papers before I even start to worry about blood elementals vs. Time Clerics...

Because FFA is so far ahead of all the others I think that the time limit shouldn't matter quite so much. If no one buys that arguement, there has been a precedent of a 2 week grace period between the time when the first person posts and the first post of the second combatant.
In short, if anyone locks the fight I'll just open it anyway. XDDD
@Trei, Protip: Tac's time magic fissions its mail against water.

Aye Omi, aye. Unfortunately I've experienced that personally all too often. Damn microwaveable noodles that you have to cover up with clingfilm. That steam is horribly deceiving, hurts like a b***h.
Now to go do something... constructive.

It's because the FFA is so far ahead that gives me more of a reason to push the others to catch up with it. Yeah, FFA had half less fighters than each of the other branches, but even so, it shouldn't be so backed up in that difference. And for matches where a fighter has yet to post in their fight, even after PMing them, a one week period will be given, not two. As I said, no more time for delays. But Trei, you have till Saturday to post.
Also, I'm starting the O/M branch next round matches today.
