I had to suffer through enough of it when I got caught behind enemy lines back in world war two during my pacific tour... *Heads to the bar and gets himself a beer, avoiding the pool.* And you don't wanna know what they did in Madripoor when I was runnin' around as Patch.

I agree with this one. I don't think that being a mermaid is such an objectionable fate. In fact, some would perhaps argue that it an improvement over being a lung-breather.
