hi everyone i'm kinda new here. I got the hints about the one-liners, and I totally agree with it. I'm danny by the way, but a lot of people call me Shiori Rose. Its the name I use to write my stories with. smile
I just read the rules and everything, and I still don't get how we keep track of our credits. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh I read the rules. I know all about oneliners. I have a writers mentality though, and I don't entirely support the whole no one-liners rule. That's not to say I won't follow it. It's the whole less is more thing. I don't like the idea of having to fill a post with useless filler to meet a word requirement. Not if you can still carry off the post gracefully, and without diminishing the quality without adding the excess.
Sometimes I think all the extra description is just tiring to read. There are also cases where you can get backed into a corner, and all you can do without making the post drag is respond to what a character has asked you.
If someones character asks you something like 'Would you like a drink?' And your character has already studied the other character, the room around him, and the unsightly beetle crawling up the wall, how do you meet the word count without the post losing it's purety? All you can really offer realistically is a yes, or no, and a smile.
Don't worry about me though. I can assure you, you won't be having any problems with me, other than some slight annoyance with my opinons. I may not care for a strained post, but I can understand the need to enforce them. I don't think most Roleplayers would be able to tell the difference between a lazy one-liner, and a pure one. At least you don't have a two paragraph minimum like one of the literate guilds I was a part of awhile back. X3
