Andou's clone smirked, Shinzu was a bit of a beginner at this wasn't he? Still he gave allowances for the fact that Shinzu was still new in the academy. It had been a nice fake for someone so new to the art. Nonetheless he easily dodged the kick, stepping off to the side and picking up a kunai. Doing a few back flips to bring some distance in between itself and Shinzu it then proceeded to throw the kunai at him.
Ranged Attack: d20 + 2 = 5

Dodge Bonus: 13
Melee Attack: 6

[i know andou's level 20, but i'm pretending that the clone is level 1 in terms of hp and cp and level 0 in terms of melee/ranged attack xd hey! it's specially depowered.]

Shinzu easily dodged the Kunai 'He really is underpowered. Andou would have scewered me with that.' Shinzu thought as he pulled out a shruiken to throw at the clone. As the shuriken closed on the clone shinzu closed the distance so that after the clone attempted to dodge he could hit it with a melee strike.
Ranged Attack: 17 + 2 = 19
[What is i the area that I can use besides shuriken and kunai?]

{Area? Well like i said, the fight is in between the targets and the line, so about 20ftx20ft of space. Stuff on the ground includes kunai, shuriken, targets... flowers... uh... baskets... well... usable items include kunai and shuriken XD}
The throw had been a bad throw and the clone knew it. Shinzu had dodged it easily and countered with a scarily accurate shuriken of his own. Knowing he wouldn't be able to dodge it, the clone attempted to bring his arms forward in an X shape to block it. However instead of moving backwards to run from Shinzu the clone headed forwards. He was thinking of going easy, but maybe not anymore. He'd meet Shinzu straight on. This was supposed to be a taijutsu spar after all.
Block: d20 + 6 = 12. Oh mofo my luck is just terrible XD Roll damage.
{Blocking takes 1 attack turn, so that's the clone's action for this round.}

Shinzu used the time he gained from the clone trying to block to plan his next move. As they both closed Shinzu slid on the dirt right in front of the clone attempting to get below the clones arms and hit a weak spot. He held the kunai in the air so the clone wouldn't have time to react and would, in essence, run into the kunai.
To Attack: 14 - 1 = 13

He wondered how long they had been at it since he had just started to pay attention. His mission had ran into a nearby hole under a tree. "Darn rabbit," he said looking out the corner of his eye at the hole. He sighed as he turned his attention back to the sparring session before him. Thoughts of tackling Andou crossed his mind but with his luck he'd be sent flying with a simple taijutsu technique. The thought of hitting the ground after being flung made him rethink his approach.
He walked forward past some bushes and a couple of trees and into the outer ring of the area. "Andou-sensei!" he said with a quaint smirk and a wave. ____________________

{attacker wins in the case of a tie. Can you roll damage for the shuriken and the kunai? Use the random number option. Shuriken damage is 1 - 2 + dex mod. Kunai damage is 1 - 4 and in this case it's melee attack bonus, so it's + str mod. to both sides.}
The clone wasn't fast enough to block so it got the full force of Shinzu's shuriken attack. Which admittedly wasn't that much. While it was trying to recover, and dodge what it thought was Shinzu's attack, Shinzu instead did another fake and the clone couldn't stop in time. However instead of trying a half assed dodge the clone took the opportunity to hold Shinzu down. I mean, he had the height advantage and was close enough distance wise. Might as well right?

The real Andou looked up from his shady spot under the tree as his name was called. Gennosuke... that was his name, right? Andou hadn't seen him in a while. "Murakami Gennosuke," he stated, well in a tone that allowed correction if necessary. "It's been a while. This is a new student, Akara Shinzu," he gestured at the boy fighting his clone. And doing pretty well, all things considered. Andou perhaps made his clone a BIT too underpowered...
"Where've you been, Murakami?" Andou asked casually. "Still, I'm sure Akara will be glad to have a partner. You could spar with him later if you like. He might want to rest a bit first, though." He thought about what Gennosuke could do while waiting. Target practice was out of the question since the spar was taking place in the space where projectiles could hit them. Well... Andou suddenly had the inexplicably evil thought that maybe he could have Gennosuke aim for the targets and add an extra element of challenge to the fight. Nah... he banished that thought. It would be a bit mean for both Gennosuke and Shinzu.
"Oh, i've thought of something you can do for now," Andou said, taking out the piece of chakra paper and handing it to Andou. Similarr to his demonstration with Shinzu he focused chakra into it and the paper became wet. He made sure he had Gennosuke's attention of course. "This is special chakra paper," Andou said. "Just push your chakra into it, and you'll find out your activity. Update me on what you've done so far Murakami. You've learned the hand seals and chakra molding, am I correct? Have you done anything else?"

"Nice to meet you, Akara Shinzu," he said finally straightening back up. He looked at the clone that seemed to have missed its attack. The boy didn't look to tired in Gennosuke's eyes but then again he wasn't yet a medic so besides some slight sweat he didn't see anything. He nodded to let the boy know that he'd let the guy rest before he joined. At the same time he thought about all the possible ways that Andou would torture him.
He was surprised when Andou pulled out a sheet of paper and ran his chakra through it. The paper became wet and floppy. After Andou explained how the paper worked Gennosuke took a sheet. He focused his chakra and sent it into the card. After a second words began to form on the sheet.

Andou raised an eyebrow as Gennosuke wordlessly took the paper and pumped chakra into it. Then took out a piece of paper and pumped chakra into it. He'd heard of those ninja cards before, perhaps the boy had bought them from some vendor or something. He knew that Scout sometimes had funny stuff on sale. Still, it helped and gave Andou the information he needed. Perhaps TOO much information in fact.
"You're Water Affinity then," Andou informed Gennosuke as he read through the card. Chasing rabbits? Cleaning the house? And he couldn't do that while being in school? He supposed the sick thing made it okay. Unless he got sick because he was chasing rabbits... of all the things he could have been doing.
"Okay..." Andou said once he'd got his feelings back under control. "Let's start with some chakra control practice then. I remember telling you how to do it so I'm going to assume you remember. Just do it until the fight ends, and well I suppose if you have fun you'll like it more and get better at it because you do it more, so try to have fun too I guess." Andou shrugged.

Despite his early morning encounter with his mother's rolling pin, the day was going nicely for Hataro. The weather was just the right as far as sun exposure and temperature went. In fact the humidity was great to which was odd for Kiri's moist environment. Not much sunshine and it wasn't expected to rain till later on this evening. Yup, Hataro most certainly wouldn't have it any other way.
On his way back from his weekly herb run Hataro walked on pass the academy. Which was a bit off from his usual route but something compelled him to the take the long way home.
Walking along the cross-wired fence he couldn't help but notice the spar going on between two shinobi and what appeared to be another two watching. After taking a closer glance it was apparent that one of the taller, older shinobi had a clone sparring with the younger student. Hataro began to feel a bit of emotion building up in his head. Perhaps part of it was jealousy considering how long he has been in the academy and the frustration of not being able to pass the tests despite his poor physical ability. With a small snort of discontent he turned his head and continued home but then paused again. He looked down at the ground and began to contemplate what his instructor told him the last time he failed an exam. About how he is never going to become a shinobi if doesn't stop studying books so much and just get out and train.
Hataro gripped his fists and then made a dash for the entrance of the training yard. It wasn't long before he was out of breath but it was just enough to get him close by the tall, blonde hair'd shinobi on the sidelines. Hataro lightly huffed and waited for the man to speak to him. Feeling it would be rude to interrupt his concentration on the shinobi he was currently talking to.

Andou had just finished giving instructions to Gennosuke when another boy dashed up. He looked frail and weak, and to be honest Andou wouldn't be sure whether he was an academy student if he hadn't been looking at the files. He vaguely remembered his face, but not his name. Another instructor was responsible for him...
"Oh, hello," Andou said simply. "A student are you? You seem to operate on quite a flexible schedule. Much like Murakami over here."

Hataro studied the man as soon as he turned around and it wasn't but a moment until Hataro's face turned to shock. Before Andou's word processed in Hataro's head he blurted out; "Y-your... Your!" Hataro bit his tung and for a second forgot that they weren't alone. Hataro's eyes had a look that could say "I know everything about you!" As if Andou was his biggest fan or something. Andou's words processed in Hataro's head and Hataro had to act quick and cooked up a fib so that the other shinobi wouldn't catch on to what Hataro knew.
"Your just the man I was looking for! Ha ha! Yup! I'm an academy student here! My name is Mochimi Hataro! And I wanted to ask you if you could help train me so I can pass my next academy exam!" Hataro stated in a bit of a loud, blunt tone that would probably disturb any normal human being. "And yeah." Hataro stated more calmly. I do have a bit of a flexable schedule... In fact I don't have any schedule. Well except for gym class." Hataro stated as he scratched his head, indicating that gym was obviously not his most favorite of subjects.

He mearly sighed once given his assignment and walked off a couple feet before plopping down, indian style, and placing his right hand out. He focused his chakra in the palm of his hand trying to recreate the glowing warm sensation from in class. He focused real hard and his hand began to glow a blue-ish color. After he held it for a second he stopped making the chakra disappear.
