Oryn [Sanity_is_for_the_Weak] I think two teams of stealths, both having markerlight drones, and then cross-marking targets so they follow the specific rule. ...? I can't tell what you're proposing here. Having 2 teams that each marks for the other? That's illegal. All firing from one unit is simultaneous, so the First unit will have already fired once the second unit hits with it's Markerlights. Just use the Networked Markerlights the Marker Drones have to benefit the unit they're in. Crap, why didnt I think of that?

Me, I really like the Tau army. I like range, and there weapons are awesome. Plus I'm sure we all know about the Marker lights. But man, i wish they wouldn't have taken Aunshi out of the new Codex. He was awesome.

To a Tau that's like being 80. Of course, I really wish they hadn't replaced him with the crap-tastic Aun'va and his floating popemobile.

The price of failure reallys sucks, but the other benefits are pretty good. Thing is the only part of him that can fight is the bodygaurds.

a friend of mine uses a keyring laser to "markerlight" models hit by his pathfinders... it silently says: bnag, you're dead... "shudder" also comes handy to check LOS...

If it's a laser pointer, there's actually a good use for that outside of shooting 'lasguns' and 'markerlights' at other models. Laser pointers make LOS issues really simple to resolve. All you have to do is orient the laser, turn it on and see if anything blocks it.

HEY! I won against Raven guard. Well, we didn't finish, but I would have won. I killed one of his HQ (Librarian) and his accomopanist squad with my command squad and then I swarmed his other HQ (A biker), who was solo, with my last firewarrior squad (One of two). The other firewarrior squad was dying in an assault from a drop pod containing a full squad of marines. That sucked. sweatdrop The last squad was on the back of the table, so I dropped my gun drones 18" behind them and blasted away. They hit-and-ran until the squad was all torn up. whee All he had left was a dying biker HQ, an unmovable drop pod, and another squad of marines that was stuck in CC. I had 1 FW squad of 10 left, my HQ with 1 wound on the body guard, and one jump suit left out of 2 squads of two. His squad of marines was toast once they finished off my 1st FW squad. ninja And that's game!
