"A little before 10, I think." Marcus hadn't been in the position to check the time. He took off his shoes and found a place for himself next to Terryn. "You should rest. It does help."

Terryn nodded, trying to sip her water at the odd laying down angle she was at. "I have never done that before, I swear. That was too strong After all, I suppose." She glanced up at him flatly. "I blame you."

Marcus shrugged. "Alright." It probably was partially his fault. He didn't particularly mind. In an hour or so, Terryn would feel better, and he could tease her endlessly about everything.

Terryn frowned, forcing herself to sit up, though it made her wince. "That was not the reaction I expected." She placed the glass of water down onto the table and scooted over into Marcus's arms. "You take all the fun out of the blame game."

"Well, goodness knows I've had enough fun with other games tonight." Marcus smiled wickedly and slipped his arms around Terryn. "Remember?"

Terryn wrinkled her nose, trying her best to look angry at him. Her head hurt a little too much to actually pull it off so she settled for poking him in the side before settling against him and glancing at her left hand. "So are we really married? As in...legally and everything."

"Well. It hasn't been...consummated. I believe that's the right term." Marcus grinned. "But yes. Legally, we are." He looked curiously at Terryn. "How do you feel about that? Now that you're...sober."

"Feel about what? Consummation?" Terryn rolled her eyes, lifting her head to kiss him for a moment or two. "I think we consummated our relationship quite a few times. Remember?"

"I do, in fact." Marcus grinned. "But I meant how you feel about marriage. More specifically, ours." He nudged Terryn. "Do you feel any different than you did before?"

Terryn shrugged, turning the ring on her finger. "I do not know...I mean, the only real difference I feel is that my finger is a little heavier. I suppose I had marriage blown out of proportion. In all honesty, it is no more than a signed piece of paper saying that you now own half of my father's land." She looked up to him with a smirk. "Serina will love that, I am sure."

"Not as much as your father and Gran will." Marcus thought for a few moments. "The land is yours, by the way. I have no need for it. And I would venture to guess that if anything happened to me, you would prefer your own land over some lot in Spain."

Terryn smiled, nodding as she kissed him on the neck. Her headache was starting to subside a little, which was good for her and probably Marcus as well. "I think I would prefer that. Though in all honesty I would just rather nothing happen to you."

OOC: I read the first sentence and I thought I was in Soggy Cereal and...oh, man. Good stuff.
Marcus shrugged. "Well, just in case. Things don't always go as planned, after all."

((dang...i need to learn not to confuse my T names!))
"Hush." Terryn silenced him with a kiss, reaching up to place her hands on the back of his neck and draw him closer. "We only just got married. Now is not the time to be considering myself a widow."

OOC: It's okay. I think I mixed up Marcus and Michael at some point. Can you say time warp?
Marcus smiled and caught the slight scent of wine. He looked immediately guilty. "I didn't mean anything when I mentioned consummating. I was only teasing. You have a headache."
