A few minutes passed by, and Konami had yet to make any progress. The Hokage could have given her a more detailed description of her Sensei, or at least where she was last seen. This was just completely unfair, for a Genin. Perhaps there was another reason which she has yet to understand for this... or the Hokage was too swamped with other matters to give Konami the attention she needed. Not having spoken a single word since she left the office, it would only make things harder for her. She didn't plan on speaking, but then how would she find Koan? If only someone would just come up and-- "Excuse me, can I help you find something?" A voice called out to her from behind, Konami turning on the balls of her heels to meet with a female not too much taller than herself. She seemed kind. A gentle smile was formed upon her lips, and she had a 'motherly aura' about her. Since she was willing to assist, it would be rude of Konami to ignore her. "The Hokage has sent me to find someone by the name of 'Koan'. Do you know where I can find her, or where she was last seen? Any information will be helpful." Konami looked up, gazing into the female's eyes as she awaited an answer.

All she wanted right now was to go take a nice hot dip in the hotsprings but those were currently in ruins. Shame too considering how good it would feel.
What a coincidence. The search for Koan was much easier than Konami had expected, and she didn't have to approach a bunch of random strangers. What a plus! Konami wasn't one to simply bow before Shinobi in high positions as many other ambitious Genin did. As it is a well-known sign of respect, Konami just saw it as a borderline of a**-kissing. Though there were exceptions to this, as she was only raised by her mother for a short time, she knew there were certain individuals who required certain levels of respect. Surely, by just speaking politely, it would be enough to show that she respected Koan's position. "Oh. Nice to meet you, Koan-sama. I am Konami Uchiha, the new addition to your squad. As Koan went on about missions that the Hokage might have given, Konami tilted her head as well, mimicking the motions of Koan's. Not so much as to annoy her, but it was rather common within the young Uchiha to mimic actions of others on occasion. "No... he only requested that I come find you, as I have just been recently assigned to your squad." She paused, uncertainty filling her thoughts. "...Should I go back to the office and get one?"

When the girl tilted her head like Koan she smiled a bit wider tilting her head to the other side as she laughed, this was going to be fun. She had only just met the young uchiha but she already liked her. When she asked to go back and get one Koan shook her head causing her long hair to spill out," Oh gods no please no. Its been mission after battle after battle after mission for the past few months now. Hes been running me raged, a girl needs her rest ya know? Also you dont have to get all formal just Koan is entirely fine." She felt a poking in the collar of her robes as one of her pale white summons slithered out onto her shoulder to which she smiled and said," OH also this is Basil one of my summons. Hes very nice I assure you." Contrary to how she looked Koan was actually only 14 years old but her personal version of the henge made her appear older and her real age showed at times.
In response, Koan shook her head, refusing Konami's offer. Which was good, because honestly, she didn't want to go back to the office unless she absolutely had to. The place was already crowded as it is, and she'd hate for the Hokage to fail in giving the full information of whatever mission he might have given, because his attention was divided between a multitude of other Shinobi. Besides, it appeared that Koan has had enough of them, and Konami wouldn't want to add to the load she already carried.Koan was definitely making a good impression. Konami expected to be scolded for not bowing, but instead, she wished to put all formalities aside. This acquaintanceship has evolved quite quickly, Koan speaking ever so casually and friendly to Konami now. Her personality, in fact, started to contradict her age, but this was barely noticeable to Konami. As the snake known as Basil was introduced, Konami looked toward the snake, tilting her head in curiosity. Yet to understand the connection between Summoning and Shinobi, she tried to communicate with it the best way she knew how: she flicked her tongue at it, exhaling as she did so, producing a soft hissing sound.

XXXXX Ibara strolled up to the academy pausing outside. It had been a while since he was last here and decided he needed to learn a few new jutsu, he just wasn't sure what he wanted to learn. As he approached the entrance to the academy he slid the door open and stepped inside. "Hn." he said as he turned and walked to his private training room. He passed a room with Koan and Konami speaking inside not pausing to take a peek in he walked a few more doors down and entered the private training area.
XXXXXIbara sat down at the table inside his room unfurling a S-Ranked Katon jutsu. "Katon: Onidōrō: Fire Release Demon Lantern." was written across the top of the scroll. Ibara was glad he had sole access to the elemental S and S+ ranked jutsu, in the hands of anyone other than truly gifted shinobi they could be dangerous. Ibara stood and began to read, first thing listed was the hand seals, he began to practice those slowly at first. [1/8] XXXXX Ibara centered himself as he stood focusing on the Katon chakra flowing through him, this jutsu required a lot of control and being a Kage he was sure he could exhibit that amount of control and calmness. Ibara flashed the hand seals with a single hand while extending the other out as if feeling for rain, in the hand formed a small fire ball. [2/8] XXXXX The fireball lifted off his hand and began to float dreamily around the room as Ibara focused more katon chakra into his hand. A second small fireball appeared and lifted form Ibara's hand. This fireball drifted away as well and began to dance dreamily around the room as well. Ibara watched the pair of fireballs dance around the room with a small smile on his face this was a truly beautiful jutsu and deceiving jutsu.[3/8] XXXXX Ibara waited a few moments longer watching the flame duo dance around the room before creating several more fireballs to join the dance. Ibara smiled as the room became illuminated by the smaller fire balls. Ibara let out a sigh as he entered the final stages of the technique and went back to reading as to how to actually utilize the technique instead of making a dancing and albeit beautiful light show. [4/8] XXXXX The scroll said the final act of the demon lantern was the most difficult to master, it would require a single hand seal and masterful chakra manipulation to execute correctly. Ibara formed the needed hand seals and pushed his chakra out in a wave. The beautiful little fireballs turned into ghoulish faces with glowing eyes. [5/8] XXXXX Ibara looked around at the demonic flames and figured this is where the jutsu got its name. "Hm, It is called Demon Lantern afterall." Ibara smiled and flicked his hand forward two fingers out in a military "Go" type hand sign. The lanterns danced around frantically before dive bombing a single spot of the floor.[6/8] XXXXX Explosion of flame after explosion lit up the room. Large flames began to dance around momentarily before being soaked up by the chakra absorbing padding that coated the entire room designed to safeguard the academy from the massive scale techniques that Kage and Shinobi of higher rank would learn and practice in this very room, and several others like it.[7/8] XXXXX Ibara walked back to the scroll rolling it back into its original form before sealing it. The scroll was massive and figured for a lower ranking shinobi would be quite the difficult read but Ibara shrugged. He had learned the technique easily enough the trick to this was to learn something that would compliment it well. Ibara thought he hand an idea as to which one that would be.[ 8/8 Katon: Onidōrō [ Fire Release: Demon Lantern ] Learned ] XXXXX First though, Ibara would learn another few katon jutsu to create more widespread damage through the battlefield for the jutsu he wished to learn to be most effective, the first was a simple C-Ranked jutsu. Ibara pulled the scroll out read it and created the hand seal. "Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" Ibara placed his upturned index and middle finger on his lip to aim the massive fireball that burst from his lips.[ 1/1 Gōkakyū no Jutsu [ Great Fireball Technique ] learned. ] XXXXX Ibara pulled an A-ranked jutsu from the katon shelf and began to read, this one would be slightly trickier but Ibara felt if he could master demon lantern he could do this with ease, he read the hand seals and began to practice them with one hand seeing as most of his jutsu could be performed this way. Ibara smiled and repeated the hand seal several times making sure he had it absolutely perfect before moving on to his next step toward mastering this katon technique [1/5] XXXXX Turning his head and cracking his neck as he read he realized he had been in here for quite a bit. Ibara walked toward the window and cracked it open taking in a deep breath of fresh air before slamming it shut and getting back to work. He turned and formed the hand seal required for the technique much like the Gokakyu no Jutsu he placed his finger to his lips and produced a large fireball.[2/5] XXXXX Ibara took in a massive breath and continued to exhale two more large fireballs that quickly filled the room. The heat baking off the three fireballs were immense and the fireballs took the shape of gigantic dragon heads before they slammed into the wall and were absorbed by padding.[3/5] XXXXX Ibara turned stepped back a few paces and inhaled deeply once more. He created the previous three Fireballs far too slowly and that wouldn't be acceptable in real battle. Ibara exhaled and put his finger to his lip, this time he turned his head as he exhaled creating the three dragon heads simultaneously. They raced across the room before slamming into the wall once more getting absorbed by the padding.[4/5] XXXXX Feeling a bit more satisfied with the results this time Ibara turned and walked back to the Ryūen Hōka no Jutsu scroll he rolled it up. Taking a deep breath trying to catch it once more, that jutsu was quite a burner, no pun intended. Ibara placed the scroll back where it belonged and pulled out the final Katon Jutsu he intended to learn in this session.[5/5 Ryūen Hōka no Jutsu [ Dragon Flame Release Song Technique ] Learned.]
XXXXX Ibara sat down and decided to rest for a bit before going on to the next training bit. Being interupted by a voice echoing in his head. 'I'm not sure if I am doing this right or not. But Sir. We have guarded the gate for a while and have deduced some conclusions about the riots within Konaha. It seems there was and still is no traces of a retreat from our gates. Being the main exit to our village they would have had to leave from somewhere. We have reason to believe that they are still residing within the walls of our home. I wouldn't know the first step to trying to locate them. It seems a bit quiet here at the gate currently as well. Any further instruction?' Echoed through his head as he listened Ibara thought. "Nice, thinking but it'll be almost impossible to find them unless they act up again, no one caught what they looked like only saw 'Shadowy" figures.' Ibara shook his head. "Stay at the gates, make sure no one leaves without permission or well enters of course." Ibara sat back in his chair contemplating what jutsu to learn next.

Basil slithered all the way down her hand as she held it out for her to take," Wanna hold him ?"
Konami removed her eyes from the snake and laid them upon Koan's. A single eyebrow rose, in confusion. Was Koan making fun of her, or did this amuse her in some kind of way? She didn't know. As Koan spoke, it became clear that the snake couldn't speak, and needed to be trained in order to do so. She then extended her hand forward, her snake trailing down her arm into the palm of her hand, awaiting for Konami to take it. Nodding in response, she reached forward, gently taking the snake with her hands, and observing it. The snake was cold and slick to the touch, but she liked him. A single finger rose to carefully pet the top of the snake's head, and then under her chin. For the first time--in a long time--she smiled, bringing the snake even closer to her, and cradling it like a child as she continued to pet it. This spurred the desire to have a pet snake to call her own. After a while, she'd remove her fingers from his head, allowing him to roam around if he wished to. Her focus was now on Koan, her smile disappeared some time ago, now remaining neutral. "He's very nice. Thank you for letting me see him." If the snake wanted to return to his master, Konami left a arm extended towards her, so Koan could retrieve it whenever. "Speaking of training, I plan on doing some of that myself. If you don't mind... would you like to help me?"

She rotated her shoulder and another snake appeared out of the folds of her robes. This one was brown with black and white tipped scales," What do you know he likes you. Tell ya what hang on to him for a bit. After all the two of you seem to enjoy each other. As far as your training goes I would love to. What did you have in mind?"
Basil found his way along the back of Konami's neck and her shoulders and rested there, while Konami watched another snake appear from Koan's robes. She must have snakes living inside her robes, or perhaps she's summoning them? Konami had no clue, but she knew one thing for sure: Koan loves snakes. The new snake that appeared was brown in color, displaying scales tipped with black and white. The colors were beautiful, almost captivating. Konami blinked a few times, redirecting her focus back to Koan who was now speaking. A small smile arose on her lips upon hearing she was allowed to stay within the snake's company a little longer. Following that, Koan willingly accepted her offer, and would help her train. Konami took a moment to think about what she wanted to learn, the pupils within her eyes trailing towards the upper left section, he face remained deep in thought. She didn't have anything in mind, in terms of what specific jutsu she'd like to learn, but she'd find out once she gets her hands on a scroll, or if Koan had any recommendations. "I... I'm sure I want to learn Genjutsu. I specialize in it, so my main priority will be learning what I can there. Afterwards, I am interested in learning some Ninjutsu."
Erebos arrived at the academy looking for Koan. he had been busy dealing with some familly issues that had arrisen a time ago and now everything felt. different. he hadn't seen koan in a long time and it made his heart race just at the thought of seeing her again. there was however a strange scent in the air and things just didn't feel right. what if she didn't remember him. or what if she no longer cared for him. his worries would be found out soon he hoped as he expected she would likely be training new genjutsu users by now.
Entering the building he first looked around asking for instructors in the art of genjutsu and would proceed to ask if they knew where koan was located. after a while one was able to point him in the right direction then asked why he wanted to know. not answering Erebos left immediately to go see her. rounding a corner and approaching the door to the room she was supposedly in, Erebos creaked the door just open enough to peer inside. what he saw wasn't koan but two different ladies whom he'd never seen before. that didn't stop him from picking koan out immediately however. he'd never mistake her no matter what was in his way. he watched from the crack in the door while they practiced. if koan noticed him, as she undoubtedly would, he would know if she remembered him.

However you young miss cannot fool me. While I didnt know your name before today I recognize you as another Uchiha. That being said no Uchiha can reach maturity without being able to control fire. You must learn the,Goukakyuu no Jutsu [ Great Fireball Technique ] before your training advances any further. I assure you we will master genjutsu together but for now you must start with that. Its really very simple, do as I do." She formed the seals very slowly so that she could easily catch them then inhaled deeply before sending the ball of fire across the academy. As she finished her pet hissed in her ear softly. She turned quickly as he face lit up recognizing the face," ERB YOUR ALIVE. Well dont just stand there come here." She giggled a bit as she smiled.
Listening carefully to Koan's wisdom, she realized that she was correct. Focusing on something you are already good at won't do much about your weaknesses unless you do something to protect yourself from them. Her next few words reminded her of her father and her two older brothers. They too went through something similar to this. It was the very first technique they had to learn, in fact, and they had very little trouble performing the technique. She shook away such thoughts, as just thinking about them made her extremely angry. Paying close attention to her hands, as the seals were formed, Konami repeated them in her head. Once the final seal was created, Koan inhaled deeply, before unleashing a torrent of fire in the shape of a ball, expelling powerfully from her mouth and into the open area of the academy. It was her turn to try the technique now; she hoped she could perform it well.
Konami started by recapping what she just witnessed, straitening her stance, and facing an open section within the academy. Placing her hands together, she carefully formed the seals Koan displayed, much slower than her demonstration however. Her seal formations were full of hesitations, and by the time she formed the final seal, she didn't even bother to try and finish the technique. She felt nothing within her chakra, not a single stir. She needed to perform the seals faster. Giving the seal formation a second attempt, she brought her hands together in the first seal for the technique. Progressing through the other seals quite confidently, she felt the build up of her chakra within her stomach, rising up into her lungs. She could feel the chakra's heat within her lungs, and took in a deep breath before expelling a fireball from her mouth. She held a single hand beside her lips in the seal of the tiger, to help her control the flames and ensure its ball shape. The fireball bursts forth, flying through the air with roaring flames, soon to collide with the wall in its path. Goukakyuu no Jutsu [ Great Fireball Technique ] :: Learned
Hearing Koan yelling shortly after she finished, she quickly turned towards her, noticing that she was facing someone else. Someone by the name of "Orb" apparently, and someone who she hadn't seen from some time, given her reaction to his presence.

Ryoku's shadow clone sprinted into the academy and quickly grabbed a bit of the scrolls and began reading them quickly browsing for the Shunshin techniques. Racing from element to element until he had the hang of how they are explained for the possible elements that Kiru and Sacreia were. After getting all the info of the shunshin and several other jutsu that seemed to have caught his eye he vanished sending the information back to Ryoku.
