Gender: Male Appearance: See below Visual reference: Personality: Fire-kin blood results in passion and emotional strength (he comes up a little short in size however). So while he's not exactly the largest of his siblings, he certainly is the loudest and the most playfully aggressive. It is expected that he will be a great hunter, but his problem is with the kill. He's very social and naturally jubilant, but he will not take very kindly to losing or being the butt of a trick. Not that she isn't, mind you, but a play on her open bluntness; of both good and bad opinions. Her adult name means "Warm earth" in Swahili. I wanted it to be a play on magma, since she's so close to her mountainous home, but burns so bright. Gender: Female Appearance: Base- Red like grandpa with a gradient shift in leg coloring like mom, expect instead of her darker colors it would be white. Markings - Some shoulder marking like dad (cc color), with mom's white eye markings. White inner ears! Black nose. Eyes - Green like her dad! Mane/tail - Black, with a stripe in the mane the same gold color as her dad's ears. Visual reference: None Available Personality: She's spunky and opinionated. Often the one to bluntly point out things better left unsaid ("What do you mean? Of course she's fat."), but not intentionally malicious. Once the wrong has been pointed out to her she'll bend over backwards trying to fix it. Hal-shikasta is bitter, surly, and wants the world to know that she hates it and everyone in it. She was born into the Jini-misemi in the days of the murderer, Mysmyr. Her mother was killed in the den before Shika and her siblings had even opened their eyes, and grief drove her father mad before he, too, was murdered; she never knew either of them - she and her siblings were raised by her aunt alongside her cousins. Her family are the only ones she has any tolerance - let alone affection - for. When she learned the truth about her parents, suffice to say she...did not take it well. The knowledge has made her angry with the world, and more specifically, at the lions who were in charge at the time - she has a deep-seated hatred towards Narindima'moyo and Piliroho kwa Kwini, and a somewhat tamer contempt for the rest of the royal family.
And yet she chose to return from her pilgrimage anyway, and remains with the pride despite her oft-professed preference for being alone. While she pushes everyone away and refuses to trust anyone, she is also terrified of being completely alone. She interacts with others when she has to, but mostly sticks to the fringes of the pride's territory. Immediately prior to the fire, she argued and very nearly came to blows with Piliroho; afterwards, she received an ultimatum that if she didn't start behaving, she would be exiled. She remains as prickly and unpleasant as ever, but is generally less aggressive than she used to be.

Born a rouge, Amenemsou was mistreated by his parents, whom had no sense of loyalty whatsoever. They were straight up cruel to him. They would laugh at him when he was trying to be serious, and ridicule him for his jokes. It really instilled a serious sense of insecurity so deep he feels that he must work for affection or any type of relationship to work. This is the theory he has developed: “If she's amazing, she won't be easy. If she's easy, she won't be amazing. If she's worth it, you wont give up. If you give up, you're not worthy. ... Truth is, everybody is going to hurt you; you just gotta find the ones worth suffering for.” Amen is self reliant, persistent, and yet codependent at the same time, meaning while he can manage the world on his own, he is better off with someone to lean on. His singular favorite past time is to make others laugh, but not just anyone, he gets particular pleasure out of making those whom are the least likely to respond to him. And as he doesn't thrive off of acceptance, he has no problem persisting until he gets what he wants. His downfall could easily be his devotion, as he has problems realizing when something is a lost cause. Often times this allows the other party to forget their grudge with the world and him time to slip right past their walls. This can take time, and therefore patience (which unfortunately can be in rather short stock), but it usually pays off. Amen tends to have a problem letting go of grudges, if he's not treated well, he will not let you forget it. But if he's treated well, he will never leave your side and never forsake you.

Visual reference: (optional unless parents request) Personality: A spitfire she has no filter and says the first thing that rolls off her tongue, especially if it hurts feelings in the process. She’ll grow to be sort of mean spirited youth with a “stay away from me and nobody gets hurt” attitude towards the world. However, her biggest “downfall” if you could call it this is that she will suffer from the fact that although she might act mean she wants to be a liked person. She’ll snarl and bicker but at the end of the day if someone has expressed they dislike, even hate her the thought will remain buried in her mind. She might even become compelled to make them like her and will do small, notable acts in order to improve her social standing. I can imagine she’s someone who could be easily betrayed due to her often conflicting mental state. She’ll struggle with the idea of living a lonely existence due to her hot-headed-ness and might go out searching others to be around if only to prevent this from occurring. Looks kinda grey in the ref for some reason >>;; Visual reference: Personality: Tepe is a very impressionable young cub who looks up to her parents for everything. She notices they way they react to those around them and each other and soaks up everything like a sponge. It's a bit confusing for her, though, since her parents treat others so differently: mom with disdain and a snarl, dad with the intent to make them smile and laugh. Unsure which is the 'best' way, she tries out different ways of reacting on those she meets. To one lion she could be sweet and hilarious, to another she could be aggressive and distant. As she grows she'll finally discover why her parents act the way they do - the world isn't a very nice place and there are some pretty mean lions and other creatures within it, so it's better to protect yourself so you don't get hurt. After her pilgrimage she'll return very different than when she left. Calm, poised, and cold as ice. She will prefer to keep to herself so as not to get hurt by others and secretly fears everyone around her. She comes off as strong and independent even though she wants nothing more than to stick by her family and friends. It will be possible for a persistent lion to get close to her, and her true personality will shine through with determination. To a very select few she'll be sweet, shy, and surprisingly fragile for one who seems to let insults and threats pass through her. Applying for: Minoru x Metzli Name of SoA: Kaskitewâw Nîpîy Meaning: 'Black Water' in Cree, I choose this because I am actually Metis (French and Cree) Gender: Male Appearance: I wanted to do something different with some similarities to his family. I used his dad's father mixed mane. I used his dad's back marking and his mom's face markings with some difference. I used similar paws from his dad and underbelly marking like his mom. For color I took an interesting twist of the slight hint of darker blue found in his mom with a hint of her lighter blue and used his dads side of black and white. For his tribal markings I'd love the lighter blue from his mother. I want them to start on his leg (I did not have time to add) , I had a lot of fun coloring him. Visual reference: Personality: Kas (For Short) does not say much but is very fond and protective over his family. He is strong and brave but hides it very well as he is quiet and reserved. He likes to listen before speaking and observe before making judgement. I want to call him noble and honourable someone who believes in what is right and may even be troubled by the wrong doing actions of others.
