Thanks Kin and Giesta. YES! I didn't know the Red Riding Hood had that axe. I only knew about the background. I'm gonna go get me one. Hello Gaians,
We're a few days away from introducing a new game to Gaia: Tiles.
Tiles is a Mahjong-like game where you make chains by connecting adjacent tiles with common characteristics. Longer chains complete levels and the more levels you complete the more tickets you can earn, which you can spend on cool new items in Prize & Joy.
We want to make Gaia more fun by continuing to create cool games, features and events, but it's awfully expensive to develop games. If we can include video advertising, then we can justify the costs involved with producing new games. Our Tiles launch is a test to determine how well this plan works out. We really hope you enjoy the game and we’ll do our best to provide decent commercials.
Here are some details:
* A 15 to 30-second video advertisement will play before you can start the game.
* The ad must play in its entirety before the game launches.
* You have the option of disabling ads via our new Bonus for Gaia Supporters.
We also ask that you bear with us while we launch the game. As usual, we’ll be working out some kinks over the first few days.

Yup, very exciting stuff. If you can stand more excitement, there's a long list of exciting news in Lanzer's October 13 journal -- lots more puzzles, new items from Towns trash, more Prize & Joy tickets items, more events, all in the (hopefully) near future. Lanzer journal

*nod* Yup it's great that there are plans for all this new stuff Lanzer wrote about. I just hope it doesn't take too long for it to happen. A great bonus is, it'll keep you around longer, probably all three of us actually.
