Adele smiled. "Let's go, Rue," she said. She tried to lift him up. "We should get back so I can get my weapons. How bad are you hurt otherwise?"

Rue struggled to his feet. He felt lightheaded from the fight, "I-I think I'm okay," He said.

"You aren't okay, Rue," Adele said. She lifted Rue up. "Now no more complaining!"

"You tried to walk," Adele said. "Now just relax." She held him close to her, cradling his head against her chest.

Adele blushed and smiled. "Just relax," she told him again. She petted his hair with one hand and gently pressed his head to her chest, hoping it would make him more comfortable.

Rue slipped into a light state of unconsciousness. He was still partially aware of what was going on around him.

Adele took Rue back to the inn and put him on the bed. She took out some medicine, plants, and bandages to help him.

This would be her first time looking at him when his shirt's removed. Rue's chest was covered in scars as if he were the victim of this kind of treatment many times before. Rue lay still on the bed.

Adele gasped quietly when she saw all the scars. "Oh, Rue," she said softly. She went about cleaning and bandaging his wound, being as gentle as she could.

Rue remained unconscious as she cleaned him up.

Adele finished bandaging him and the layed down on the bed beside him. She was exhausted; using her magic had weakened her.

Adele lay next to him for a while but soon started to fall asleep. She didn't want to sleep in case Rue needed her, so she got up and began checking herself for injuries. She had a few cuts on her chest and arms that needed bandaging, so she pulled her shirt off to tend to them.
