Do you have any Pink Dragons? They can "influence" eggs to be a particular gender, female makes girls, male makes boys.

Your Pink Dragons can "tell" an egg to be their gender (females make girls, males, boys). View the dragon that is the gender you want the egg to be, then use the Action command. That will bring up a new screen. At the bottom, choose "Influence". Easy!
