It's obvious this tournament is going nowhere without the proper people to place it back onto track.
For one, time limits. Like the HoH, we need to set one, only we'll have it two weeks instead of one. People have lives, but this should motivate them to want to post more, because I know some who are on but are too lazy to make another post, possibly because of lost of interest in the battle.
Understandable.
Now, what happens when the time limit is up? I say we try something similar to the Electoral College in the presidential voting. We first let the public vote for a good number of days, whic might just be a single day or two. After that, we have this council of various people come together and discuss the battle, possibly in a crew-specific forum for the guilds mods. Our decisions can be affected by those who voted popularity, so we can place more emphasis on that person, but this is only optional. We then cast our votes, and the one with the most wins. The voting is only when neither fighter submits or dies before the time limit is up.
Now how can we get rid of biased? That's a tough one, really, but the best we can do is have it to where the pros and cons are listed for each fighter, both IC and OOC, and the judges make their decision. Not something any fighter wants to deal with, but it's mandatory now, especially for this tournament.
This is my proposal and you guys are free to add to it. I just feel that the GTB needs to be over and done with before April comes or at least before May.

I personally don't have a problem with that. I considered adding a total time limitation prior to starting the round, but then thought about no-shows and such. If people like the idea I guess the full time limit could begin once it is agreed upon by a majority of the remaining participants and then stated explicitly in each thread that the total time limit starts and goes until X days from that post.
The current 3-way match would need a longer time limit.
There would have to be room for error, such as by late starts (in later rounds) and illness/vacation. Under the idea that "he gets two weeks to post but I had a family vacation and thus had only one week. ******** j00 too." Assuming, of course, that these things are made known to a judge.
Re-evaluate crew pool?
Removal of Nightz as Crew? Is he even alive anymore?
Last minute donations to buff the pot? XD

I've been busy as Hell as of late, it's been all I could do to get online and snap a post off at my Barton match for the past couple of days. XD; I apologize. Just be patient with me; I should be normalized on my scheduling [aka, having all the time in the world to be a lazy jackass and goof off wherever go] before long. =P
