That is where the trouble sets in.
Specific character only plots.
The trouble is, what do you do if you accidently gain the attention of someone else for a reason you did not foresee or simply forgot?

not unapproachable. it's just that the Tarathiel character has a vast amount of abilities via his crew that the other characters don't. mostly in teh aspect of information gathering.
Malik is on a different continent than Deepwater. his only knowledge about the fleet was Tarathiel stating basically he was going to see themn sent becuase malik was bragging. So we prepaed to be part fo teh coup on deepwater plot via takign care of the fleet. didn't happen.
those wizard aparently can see anyone anywhere in the game world. they can track piper, onyx, moon, malik, whomever. Malik knows about he success of the coup becuase the massive influx of undead energy that his necormancers can work with, and knows about Jiscal becuase they were able to in essence, summon dimitri for a brief conversation. He only knew about the hooded man becuase Tanundra clued him in.
So Malik/piper/onyx/moon couldn't help with the oracle thing, mostly becuase by the time anyone was in a position to even try, Tarathiel and crew were already in the hoodedman's room taking her back.
Tarathiel can get through plotlines much faster becuase of the vast resources at his disposal that the other characters just don't have. and we got nothig to say 'stop, let us fingure somethign out' because it woudl take a much longer time for say, malik to learn things.

Well, one thinks that they are not constantly watched by someone elses character. Technically Tarathiel should have no knowledge of what's happening to Piper.

The map means nothing. It's just the way things are gone about. Malik doesn't have psions or anything like that, while Tarathiel does. Hell, they could of used Serino or the dragons for info gathering but they didn't know they needed to.

okay, i know I didn't post alot today but I'm off for supper. I migh tnot be on for the rest of the night. I'll look for an opening. I'm new at this so I'm not to good at introducing myself into stuff.

So, we are upset at Tarathiel's information gathering ability.
Honestly, it isn't that good.
Someone, *coughMalikcough* made a pretty big impression on the Pirate. Perhaps, that is why some people are being watched 24/7... Personal vendetta.
Did anyone figure out that Tarathiel was actually planing on kidnapping Piper?

You make it seem that good, that his crew member can see everything that is going on at any given point. Not even the oracle can do that.
Edit: Yes, I saw that Tarathiel had that idea

Which it seems to also conflict in his direct idea to making the oracle happy as well.

Conflict? hmmm. in Trathiel's mind, he's doing the Oracle a favor. Save piper, kiddnaps her (and while doing other things...I dunno his 'plan') and this keeps her safe from harm.

I find it somewhat amusing that Onyx was just trying to convicne Aella she was a good person, and now moon is trying to convince Onyx of something along the same lines.

Meilikki doens't have control of what she sees from what Tanundra said.
And Piper could get herself into more harm if Tarathiel kidnapped her because she would try too hard to get away.

Also to mention that if Tarathiel took her to the ship, there's no way in hell for Malik to track her because the ship seems totally inaccessible.
