At the mention of the man, he couldn't help but snarl again, though it wasn't at her. "No. I can't; I don't regenerate." Vincent told her, eyes slitting again. "So I'll have to kill him in repayment." he decided aloud, an almost dreamy look coming over his face as he looked to Sten. "I'll be better when I have your blood on my maw."

"He brought me home lastnight. After i got hurt"s he said nuzzling his chest lightly and purring soflty.

River blinked at Vincent and Ukaia with a soft smile and sighed deeply looking at tomo.." Dearest Tomo, where is your daughter? I've yet to meet her." River said in a quiet tone, the least bit forgiving of Vincent so she was slightly bitter when she spoke.
Silent turned a bit and re-arranged the pillows on the bed before closing her eyes again to drift in and out of R.E.M sleep. Sighing deeply her eyes fluttered a bit before she turned a bit again not able to yet obtain a comfortable postition.

"Not as sorry as you will be." Vincent retorted, then looked at Ukaia, frowning. "I am glad that he did, but that does not change the fact that took my hand. I cannot forgive that so easily." he told her gently. His attention went back to the man, and he snarled. "Besides... he is either a friend of or in the employ of a man who has hurt you numerous times. I will not trust him as you seem to."

Tomo looked at River, "She and Kaia should be getting in, soon." He said, leaning back against the couch.
Daiki heard a bit of movement, but remained silent. He wasn't sure if this was standard procedure for her.

Ukaia sighed quietly and nuzzled Vincent again

"Very well.." River said to him with a small smile, listening intently on Vincent's conversation with the other man. And Ukaia trying to cool him down. She was so tempted to say something but never spoke, she kept on everyones good side the best she could.
Silent finally drifted a bit asleep, her arms huddled close to her body as where her legs. She was scrunched up, the blanket hardly over her, she was useing it as a pillow insead of the pillows themselves.

"I'm glad you're alright." Vincent returned, kissing her forehead once more. "I was worried, when I felt you and Lily in danger that night. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help to you. Now... care to explain exactly why this..." he darted a look to Sten, and his eyes hardened. "This bottom feeder had to assist you?"

Arlen yawned and stood up from the couch, looking around carefully as he felt the tension in the room.

Ukaia ducked her head
"i.. um.. Well basically some guards got ahold of Bai and hurt him a lot. .so i went and.. took something precious from them,. " eh mumbled quietly
"And they kind of beat me up in the process.. but i did win" she said lookig up at him

"I don't like you." Vincent told Sten sharply. "I see no reason to hide it." He then turned his attention back to Ukaia, and he frowned. "You didn't take anyone with you? That was not smart of you, love. But I am glad you won, and I understand why you did it." he hugged her as best he could, then smiled a bit. "You are alright now, correct? And you've been eating?"

Tomo nodded and looked back to the couple.
Rhiannon pushed open the front door and ran to Tomo, hugging him around the waist, "We're home!" She announced happily, tail wagging happily. She had a shopping bag draped over her arm.
Tomo hugged her back and kissed the top of her head. He looked at River and smiled, "This is Rhiannon, Riv. My daughter." he introduced as she detached from her father's torso to introduce herself.
