chuckling lightly looking back at his wife.
"That's what tends to happen after the fourth or fifth time a day. don't worry about it your nails aren't that long...just wearing into me from repetition."
turning around and leaning over her, giving her a kiss.
"wanna go for the record?"

"I just can't help myself and you like it anyway." Shaking her head lightly, complete with a giggle and her cheeks flushing a bit deeper at his instigating. Though he did get a slighty surprised yet amused look. "Record? You've been keeping track?" Yes it particularly amused her, but at the same time it was oh so Malik like and comforting.

"only when you get flushed and giggly."
smiling lightly at her.
"But of course, if your not feeling up to it...we don't have to do anything.."
yes, prod the lusty dragon there a bit. it was endearing and amusing all at the same time.

"Which has been what? About five times in over fifty years? No wonder you can remember, there's not that many to get all mixed up in." Shaking her head with a giggle, watching him a moment with a hint of flickering gold in her eyes as he watched her back. "I didn't say I wasn't up for more...besides might as well try to get it all out of my system before the boys come back home for the evening, and you haven't thrown in the towel yet either. I'm not a quitter."

"We can't have that." She glanced down at the paper she was grading and marked another question off then turned her gaze over to her husband. "I'd love to. Just let Faate know she has Kit in case he wakes up and needs something." Rolling off the bed, she strolled to the closet and pulled out her boots once more, slipping them on and lacing them up her ankles.
So far, so good. His arm around her waist didn't bother her since he'd done it to her before and he seemed to be pretty mellow right about now. That was always a good thing. "It's not about the money. You know that."
"I do." His hand skated down over her fabric-covered bottom and squeezed gently, chuckling when she jumped. "You need a drink." He ordered her favorite, handing it over and leaned close like he was whispering then nipped her ear. "For losing I made out pretty well. Got something to console me?"
Lyssie, trying to keep with the illusion took a sip of the drink about the same time her ear was suddenly pierced by his teeth. The drink sprayed and she jumped back in dismay. At first Zykariel's expression didn't change, then he narrowed his eyes and frowned. She yelped when his fingers dug into her arm and he began forcefully dragging her outside.
"It doesn't take much. I'm just not as social as some elves." She heard what she thought sounded like Lyssie's voice and stood up on her tiptoes but she was too short. People crowding around didn't help either. "Malikhai...what's going on over there?"
"You were not distracted." Shaking his head and then rolling his eyes at his friend's story. "He's bested me a few times but he'd never be able to do that. And draithix won't harm me anyway. Just cuddle me to death."

A nod to her and while she laced her boots, he scooped Kit up and headed down to the child's room at the end of what seemed to be an ever growing hallway as Sevilin had to add on to their place to accomodate for various things. Laying Kithann down in his bed, he made sure the child was settled before checking in with Faate and filling her in, grabbing his reports, and waiting for his wife by the door, handing her her cloak when she came by and they headed out. Sometimes it was nice to just walk to where they were going. They were fast paced walkers anyway. Though he did pause mometarily as a letter was more or less popped out of the shadows and he snatched it from the air, blinking at it a moment before handing it from Zahara.
Yeah there was that familiar tint to the air that he knew was illusions nad he was covertly trying to sniff out who was doing it, eyes always coming back to Zykariel and his...friend. "Well, I'm not as social either outside of business ventures so we're perfect for each other then." Taking her by the wrist and pulling her gently however as things went down...and being Zykariel's manager, he had to deal with the sloshed racer when he got too rowdy. "Trouble, as usual. Alright, back off people." Pushing aside those who were in his way till he and Kaelin managed outside to the two.
Letting go of Kaelin momentarily, he rested one hand on Zykariel's shoulder squeezing hard enough to make him loose his drunken grip and the other plopped on the girl's, instantly breaking through her illusion with his own talents in that area. He frowned. "Lyssie? What are you doing?"
Their mother would probably things it was cute how they more or less fluffed their feathers and strutted for the girls, trying to beat the other with pretty stories of manliness and what not. "Okay, so maybe not hang you up by your pants, but I could steal them right off of you if I really wanted. Who's be embarassed then?"

Cerrilia was amused, to say the least. she indeed was at the party, in her own illusion. it put her height down about a foot, and was wood elven if anything in appearance, even had what looked like an intricate pattern in red and gold ink or tattooing on her skin. green eyes and red hair...in fact she was currently one of the girls hanging around Dhairiss and Kelligrin, listening with amusement at the boys, but memorizing their features, they way they moved and talked....just in case she ever needed to 'borrow' their forms.
Malik grinned at his wife.
"I know your not...so why don't we indulge some more. maybe we can indeed work this right out of your system. drown it out in teh pleasures it wants."
chuckling lightly.

Walking in silence was only bad when they were too involved in their own worlds to include the other or they were angry with each other. Right now, it was comforting and comfortable silence. They shared thoughts of their children, noting the fact that Zykariel's race hadn't gone as well as planned and that Faate seemed more withdrawn than normal. But soon enough they arrived at Twilight and she took the letter with no small amount of trepidation. Ripping it open and scanning it over, she frowned. "That's...not good."
"Zykariel! You're hurting me!" Punching at her brother's arm to try to get him to let go, she stopped as her shoulder was grabbed instead. "It's not my fault! I had to do this stupid test for that darn illusions class I can't pass. I was supposed to get some kind of item from him that he'd only give to her." Pouting now that she'd been completely found out.
Zykariel was still trying to reconcile the fact that he'd made a move on his baby sister. That was way too screwed up for words. He'd squeezed his baby sister's a** and nearly taken it to a whole other level. Now he needed a drink. "Go home, Lyssie. You're no longer welcome here."
This wasn't her concern and she didn't like the look in the racer's eyes one bit. Stepping between him and his sister, she gently pushed Lyssie back. "Let's not be mean, Zykariel. Your sister is just as welcome as anyone else who wants to celebrate or console you." Turning to comfort the girl instead, she shook her head and wrapped an arm around Lyssthyren. "If it was for school, she really had no choice."
"Sure you could, Dhair. I'm sure these lovely ladies would love to see you try. Just don't expect me to take it easy on you if you do." Grabbing his friend in a quick headlock and rubbing his knuckles along the white hair.

"At least when dinner rolls around, I'll have worked up a healthy appetite. You always love that." Giggling before tugging him down to her and kissing him. "I think I can enjoy that kind of drowning. Besides, that's the oldest trick in the book...to cure it, you overload it with what it wants. Save this we can both enjoy." All drama she ever went for during the last months and now was of course lost to giggles of the girlish type. "Give me your best go at it. We'll see if out of all the things you can conquer, if nature is one of them."
He blinked as their pleasant atmosphere was broken by her words that were laced with some negativity. "How come whenever it is that you get mail, it always has you saying that or something else equally negative? Why can't we ever get happy mail?" A hint of joke to his voice on that, even if it was true. "What's the matter then?"
Resting both hands on Zykariel's shoulders he more or less kept the elf from doing anything stupid. Granted...that had to be really really awkward as he had been hitting on her when she was in guise. If Khai had a sister...yeah he could imagine how wrong that would feel. "Lyssie, if you want Kaelin can take you around to Jerick and you can have him take you home if you want. I'm going to talk to your brother." And pulling Zykariel off away from the girls. "Alright, I know you're sloshed and that was wrong on several levels. But calm down a little. I still don't know why she hasn't taken a page from your book and skipped out." Clapping Zykariel on the back in an old soothing gesture between them.
He made a noise that was probably considered overly cute as he was grabbed and knuckled rattled against his skull. Bracing his hands on his friend's arms, he pushed a little trying to break it before he slipped a leg between Kel's and twisted his foot around, more or less locking up their ankles before pulling hard and thus leaving them both balancing on one foot, their others tangled some in the air, and Kelligrin holding their weight mostly as he had the headlock move going on. "I'm good at trying."

"Because you don't like Andal so they don't send good news." Tapping the letter with a shake of her head. "Lateef wants me to match Underdark ingredients to these but I'm not sure that's possible for some of them. I'm going to need to do some research..." Shaking her head and folding the letter before sticking it in her bag and wrapping an arm around his waist. "They want to take care of Piper's little problem."
"Wrong, awkward..." Shaking his head and brushing at his hands a bit. "She didn't do it for a test, Khai. She's either here because she thinks she can find some smooth talking elf to spend the night with or she's doing something for someone else. I don't like it and I especially don't like the fact that she took on that form. If my parents sent her..."
In the end Lyssie had decided that a graceful escape was best and she'd allowed Kaelin to take her over to Jerick and wish her off. Her image as the sexy bombshell was ruined for the night anyway...unless she could find another party. Which really couldn't be all that hard.
Kaelin was against going to another party entirely but she didn't want to leave Lyssie alone either. The girls were still arguing about in the stables ten minutes later.
Smooth trick... Kelligrin had to do some fancy footwork to keep them both up like that and he knew his strength wasn't going to hold out forever. He reached down in between the elf's neck and shoulder blade, feeling out that perfect spot and then pressed hard with his thumb on the pressure point that would cause him to jolt and might just free Kelligrin from his hold.

Indeed work up an appetite...both of them probably, and after a few more time of indulgence, indeed breaking the record adn setting a new one, he gave her a warm smile and nuzzled up against her in a half reverie state.
Cerrilia was enjoying this, and paying attention as much to Zykariel as she was the other boys...but letting them do thier fighting before wandering off some, closer to Zykariel and Malikhai.
"And how is the big racer going to enjoy the rest of his evening? Certainly don't want this to spoil it."

"Plausible reason." Shrugging his shoulders lightly before a raise of an eyebrow at her. "Oh that...you know, the frightening thing about that whole thing? If I weren't with you, I'd be all over her regardless of Malik, or my stoic nature for that matter." Which was true after all. They were both from Andal after all. Disturbing thought. "So they want you to make a potion then?"
"Did I ever tell you that when you're sloshed your sense of paranoia goes up tenfold?" Shaking his head lightly. Pulling Zykariel back inside he plopped his friend at the bar and ordered him up another drink. Nothing too strong but at least gave him something to focus on. "Believe me, your sister would never fluff up to you for any reason other than a passing grade. Nor do I think your parents would have her to that...it's just weird." Turning a look to the girl whom approached though...she was hiding something too...he blinked, "Oh to count the ways..." Shaking his head and patting his shoulder, "You drink that, I'll be back in a moment. Don't move from this spot."
Heading back out, he followed his ears to arguing. "Now now ladies. Lyssie, I think you've had enough fun for tonight. Last thing you need is some trouble...and if your teacher is trying to involve your family in your assignments as such you should tell your mother. That's a conflict of interests my dear." Picking her up and plopping her on Jerick. "Don't make me play tough with you."
This was probably hilarious, and he personally thought so at least as he was trying to stifle laughs through the headlock he was still in. But that was followed by an odd and painful noise as his friend chose to tweak his nerves quite literally. Dhairiss went limp for a few seconds, which consequently dropped the rest of his weight on Kelligrin but did make his leg drop from his friend's. "Ack, no fair!"
"You're more worn out than I am." Said in a sing songy voice, even if she was perhaps almost as worn out as he was. Still, she liked to win and merely turned into him, enjoying the idle time that came after such things and that half drowsy state as well.

Zahara came to a dead stop at that news and just blinked at him. "That's quite frightening. I don't think I like that at all." The image of her husband and best friend was too horrifying for words... "There is no potion, simple ingredients that may or may not work. I don't know though. Any thoughts or knowledge on this?"
Malikhai's words made sense and he had to admit that he'd had too much to drink. That was why he only played with the drink his friend ordered and didn't actually suck it down. His nerves were on fire and his concentration was shot. That voice made him frown and he peered at her for a long time. "What the hell are you playing at?"
"Fine. Fun-spoiler." She made a face at him but took hold of the reins and muttered a few words under her breath as Jerick immediately took off at a slow walk, well trained by Malikhai. She didn't want to walk though and she gave the horse his greatest wish by letting him run free.
"Well...that didn't go so well, did it?" Watching the younger girl gallop away and leaning on Malikhai. "What's the verdict on Zykariel?"
Dhairiss was exactly right about it being unfair and Kelligrin released his thumb and set his friend back on his feet in the proper way. "You forced me to fight dirty so we both didn't spill onto our faces and lose these lovely ladies we're doing such a good job of impressing." Slinging an arm over his buddy's shoulder. "Okay?"

"I think so too." It was horrifying and true all at the same time. "Well...let's look at this logically. Andalian females do this...well, I suppose it's an attraction thing. The flushed and giggly thing. It's not just for fertility spike indicators but to keep the menfolk around. And to said menfolk...it's practically irresistible. The longer an episode lasts, the more powerful the attraction factor. Only thing that bars that is if said female is bonded and married. Why would Malik not count? He's not Andalian by birth so he doesn't pick up on the nature driven attraction factor nor does he give off that sense of 'she's mine, you can't have her', all of that through the air mind you and unspoken. Me, being Andalian whether I like it or not, would be driven to more or less stalk her till I had her. Especially with what she's putting out by now. Lucky for the both of us, I'm bonded to you and that cancels out any flushed and giggly receiving I could pick up on. That and you know me."
Clearing his throat lightly after that little speech and he gave a look to Zahara. "You sure this is some spur of the moment thing that's lasted a long time...or are those two having problems and no one knows it? Plausible theory...if they are having issues, Malik may have triggered that response in her and as long as she feels like she's losing him from issues the longer it will keep up, trying to reel him back in. He just doesn't know that's what flushed and giggly would be trying to do and he wouldn't feel it either." Sometimes he was sure that he knew too much.
"Yeah yeah, calling names." Shaking his head as she made off with his horse before looking back to Kaelin. "Depends on your opinion. And Zykariel is kind of grossed out but mostly sloshed. We'll probably take him home and then I'll walk you home when it's time for all of this to pack in." Habitual plopping of arm around shoulders again. "Or, the offer to stay with me is still open."
A hand gripped at the front of his tunic a second before he smirked at his friends. "Last time you tried that, you couldn't get it. You've been practicing." But leaning into his friend a moment as he rocked back on his heels in childish fashion. "Yeah, I'm okay. Tingly now, but okay."

He gave a h alf hearted chuckle and swatted at her lightly.
"I blame blood loss."
poking fun at her nails, though they both knew it was all in good humor. he didn't mind the length of her nails anymore then she minded him killing her voice sometimes.
"Teaching your sister a lesson in humility."
she made no effort, hadn't even tried to disguise her voice. she didn't care if Zykariel knew she wasn't who she appeared to be.
"I gave all my students the same task. disguise yourself and get an item that was given. Just like I gave you that little horsehead charm yesterday, remember? I told you to keep it for me? Your sister, if you didn't know, has a nasty habit of engaging in lets say...extracurricular activities with the boys and blatantly ignoring my classes and acting as if she doesn't need to learn anything from me."
patting him on the back lightly.
"You know that the administration comes down hard when a teacher can't control her students. this was to teach your sister humility and that she doesn't know all she thinks she knows. though I didn't intend for her to attempt to get it from you while you were somewhat intoxicated. I was figuring she'd try to pull a bullying teacher routine on you. after all, she thinks I'm just a heartless, overbearing b***h. maybe now she'll pay more attention to my class."
