I enjoying having my own money. I can't spend any of it because I am save to move out...but it's still mine.
3nodding Once I get a job I'm going to the bank, and I'm getting them to take 10% of my paycheck every time, and put it into a seperate account I can't touch for 5-10 years or so. And I can't miss the money, because I never had the money.
If you put 10,000 into a Retirment account--you'll have a million dollards by the time you retire.
I think you'll actually have a little more. I think it's 1.2mil. We learned this in retailing last year.
One brother saves 2000$ a year, from the time he's 14, till he's 19. The other brother saves 2000$ a year, from the time he's 19, till the time he's 27. A few years later they have a family get-together, and the one who started later says to his brother "I've been saving my money since I was 19 years old, until I was 27, and I have 1.2 million dollars in the bank." The other brother says "Oh really? I've got the same!"
Write this down! It's valuable information.
