*Lying on the ground he nodded at her faint request. After taking a deep breath Sophus summoned the strength to move with her towards the couch. He smiled apologetically to her for the effort he brought upon her.
Outside, Teresin descended its flight and swooped towards the ground to land beneath some trees to wait. He snorted a warm cloud from its nose and rested its huge jaw on the ground to rest.*

Noticing his smile, she shook her head to tell him it was fine as her cheeks flushed faintly. Moving one arm around his waist, she held onto his hand to steady him as they moved closer to the lounge area. "T-traveling," she asked him, still stuttering a small bit, but seemingly growing over her shyness around him. She figured he had been traveling a good while anyways, due to how he had acted... but it didn't explain his screaming as if he was in serve pain. Standing before the couch, she slowly moved her hand away from his waist and helped him sit back against the old cushions.

Sort of...Just started and its become more of a nightmare than i expected.
*The soft embrace of the cushions was relaxing, but not as much as the young womans touch. He rotated his shoulders around to knock out the kinks of pain and then took up numerous stretching positions whilst seated.*
So how long have you been here... ?
*He gestured for his drink with a open hand*
...I used to visit this place alot a few years ago. Before things...
*He swallowed as a few hard memories recalled to him*
..Got complicated.

At his gesture, she nodded before hurrying back to the bar; not sure what was considered strong or he'd like, she paused for a moment looking at the bottles before finally getting a bottle of whiskey. Not pausing to get the shot glass, she returned back to his side and handed it to him before slowly sitting on the other side of the couch. Curling her legs under her body, she leaned on the couch's backing before shrugging at his question. "I've been here a few times, it's quiet," she told him, glancing around once again before lowering her eyes to her lap. She was curious what he meant about things being complicated, but was afraid to ask him to explain or to go into more details about it - if it was a hurtful topic she didn't want to upset him again.

Do you know what has happened to a woman called Roan ? I lost connection with that woman some time ago, was most displeasing but necessary.
*He took the bottle from her and smiled lightly as hge stared at the label.*
Heh my favourite. You a mind reader ?
*He took a hard swig at the bronze colored liquor and shuffled into the couch to get even more comfy.*

Biting on her lip, she thought about the name for a few moments before finally shaking her head and smiling weakly. "I'm afraid I don't, was she your girlfriend," she asked him, not meaning to sound like she was trying to hit on him or flirt.. but figured he had been close to her the way he sounded. At his question, she blushed softly before shaking her head at him. Her tail was slowly starting to move back and forth against the couch in the space between them as she relaxed and grew more comfortable around the stranger. He seemed nice enough, but as if he had a lot of his own troubles and problems to last a few men a lifetime.

Nodding to his answer, she watched him starting to grow relaxed against the couch. "It can be hard looking for old frends," she told him, biting on her bottom lip. She had been looking for an old friend before she started to come around in this bar and a few other run down ones. She had found him, but things didn't work out as well as she had wanted.. Now she was back on her orginal quest. Sighing faintly, she noticed how tired and wore out he seemed to be now. "You look tired... maybe you should get a nap," she suggested to him.

Wierd s**t seemed to cling to the place, so why not come back? After the last job he'd pulled the other night, he needed to unwind. Damn bounty hunters...they just never did die easily.
He tugged gently at the collar of his duster as he slipped in the door, adjusting the fit of the garment. It was starting to feel like the old one had, comforting in its familiarity. He could fluidly move in it now, and it showed in the confident stride that carried him to the shelves, from which he began to ponder his selection.

*slumped across tone of the couches in the bar, Seraphim rested with a hat pulled low over his eyes, arms folded over his chest. This didnt seem to hinder him though as he sensed Iden enter*
You know, where Im from... you'd never wear that coat.
*Long, delicate fingers pushed the brim of the hat up, mischievous red eyes revealing themselves as the adult Seraphim grinned over at Iden. On his shoulder, Jimmy started raving in his own tongue, pitchfork gesticulating wildly as Seraphim swung his legs to the floor, then dug out smokes from his pants, lighting one before leaning on his spread legs, ash falling between them as his fingers tapped it away*

Really now? I can hardly imagine such a place. You get a lot of talking roaches there, or is your little pet unique?
He claimed a chair by one of the tables, and leaned back in the seat. He set the drink aside, and instead broke out the zippo, all for the sake of Jimmy. He always did wonder just how long it took a bug to burn...
So. Where you're from, do kids age overnight normally, or do you just get off in ********' with drunks?
Nonchalant to the very end, he flipped the lighter shut and set it aside in favor of the drink.

Oh, Im hurt brother...
*Seraphim only grinned wider, leaning back and stretching his arms along the couch top as he exhaled smoke. In his adult form.. it was nigh on impossible not to note how much he looked like Corbin. He WAS Corbin after all*
Jimmy is one of a kind. An heriloom you might say. Or a racial memory. I woudlnt try burning him. You WILL regret it.
*Rubbing his index finger along the edge of his seat, Seraphim smirked as little lines of blue light ran away from him*
Fascinating how different you are to how I remember you. So cold Iden! Even drunk, you're always pleased to see me back home... mostly because I bring you gifts.
*His head dipped, then rose once more, lips pulle dinto a seductive smirk, though Seraphims mind was elsewhere*

Mate....I dunno WHO it is using my name where you come from...but I'll be damned if I...waitaminute.
The proverbial light bulb just flickered on, it seemed. There was no moment of dawning comprehension written across his face, but it was no less obvious that he was having something of an epiphany.
He leaned forwards, looking the man over. He'd noted the resemblance to Corbin, and had discarded it as not worth his time. If it was Corbin, then he'd have known. Or at least, he would hope he'd have known.
Mate...where exactly is this place, that you come from....
It was more a statement, muttered to himself, but even his nonchalant demeanor couldn't hide the distinct interest he now held.

Uncurling from one of the other couches, the young neko slowly glanced around the bar as she started to realize there was others there. Yawning quietly and showing off her elongated canines, she stretched out her slender, but yet curvy body and let her tail flicker around. Her eyes moved from Iden to Sera to the bug then back to Sera as she watched him smoking. Blushing softly as she noticed her sapphire eyes were almost staring at him, she dropped her eyes to her lap before bringing her legs under her body once again. Her tail curled around her legs like most felines did while she listened to their words, curious of who they were...

Who uses your name where I come from? You, of course...
*Seraphim's grin only widened... until his jaws split from ear to ear. Everything about him said 'Corbin' in large letters. His aura, his deamour, the effeminate facial structure, the black-purple hair and hellion wings... everything*
I come from a reality not far removed from this one. But you worked that out already, didnt you?
*ash spilt to the floor once more, then Seraphin swallowed the butt, his snake like tongue flciking ove rhis lips as it curled the hot embers away*
