Tarathiel sighed. Well wasn't this a grand event. One craxed elf had Piper bond to him, and another had come challenging him. He saw the meat hook plunged into Piper's shoulder, and knew full well that it was more significant than a simple tool used for torturing, it was too shiny. He moved his hands in quick guestures to the nothingness before him, and smiled wickedly.

Chaos indeed.

Aella pulled herself off of the bed, the large one she had wanted to sleep in so badly. SHe didn't tihnk that she would be enjoying for a while. Her evening was ruined, she felt awful. She reached up and took out the leather thung that held her hair in a top knot. It just felt a little too tight right now. She looked...strange without her hair up, almost like she had just gotten up from a good nightss rest. Not really...

She sighed, didn't want to think about it anymore. So she set Onyx's balck feather on a night stand and went about her self-procalmied duty of careing for the Oracle. She brushed the woman's hari and cleaned her skin again. She was looking a bit healthier now, but she was still frighteningly skinny. Was there a cook on this ship? She needed to feed Meilikki before she died from lack of food.

Warhammer entered the room, and snorted softly. "Greetings, Aella Whirlwind." The creature lumbered delicately towards here, carry a plater of food. "I am sorry, I did not realise that you would have awoken so soon, or I would have brought the provisions sooner... What is that?" The minotaur asked staring at the object that was not in the room yesterday.
PostPosted: Sat Oct 15, 2005 1:31 pm

"No, it's all right Warhammer. I'm not hungry." Hmm, she hadn't been hungry in a little while, hadn't she?

A galce at the nightstand. "Onyx gave me a feather, to write him letters with." Ugh, did she have to think about that now? The whole encounter had been very uncomfortable.

She took the platter from him, set it on the mantle for the moment.. The dragon-man was asleep in the chair beside the fire, and Aella decided not to wake him. he must be exaughsted from hie fight with them the other day. She just had to wake up the Oracle now long enough to feed her.

"You're right. besides, I have someplace special for you, Terran. As for Kaden.."

He got up, looking around some...and picked up somethign that looked like a hair, except it moved on it's own, and put it in a bag. then back over to Terran, coming back over and picking out Malvolence, and the other dagger..ried a rope to Terran's wrist, the other to Nightmare's saddehorn, and got on top of her and took off after Kieran, draging the high elf behind him, and if nightmare's flames set him on fire? who cares. Of course once he got to Kieran, and dismounted...a look at Piper, and at Kaden. the chain going from Kaden to Piper. and her ring in his hand.

His first reaction was to walk to piper, and lift her head up to look at him.

"Piper..I'm here. And we're talking you home, over his screaming body."

Then his attention moved to Kaden, and Malvolence came out, flames jumping along the blade. OF course, terran's warning about the torture was obvious to him. the chain had to be the reason for that. why else woudl he chain himself to her.

"You have two options, Kaden. the first one, is you let her go, and I only give you fifty years of agony before you die. The second, we take her, and I keep you in agony until even the gods don't remember the reason for your screams."

Onyx landed by the front door, nsad smelled somethign he didn't know. ometimes the scent was human, and sometimes it wasn't..and the fainter scent of the captian. that got a snarl. but he went inside, wondering if his twin had gotten our of his depressed funk yet.
PostPosted: Sat Oct 15, 2005 1:50 pm

Onyx practically walked into Morelle, whom Moonstone was holding up at head level. Depressed funk was still there, but it was not so noticalbe. Moonstone had..an odd glint in his eye.

"Look who found us." He said by way of introduction, amd Morell chittered happily.

Onyx was not nearly as impressed, and crossed his arms. Not to mention his pride was still wounded at the present.

"Joy."

adn to the dinging room, settling down and eatting. Not paying an overly amount of attention to the familliar or his twin at the moment. Right now, he still wanted to be with Whirlwind.

And....snub.

Moonstone stayed in his place when onyx simply walked right past him...and swivled an ear in his direction. "Joy?" He followed back to the dinning room, biut again he wasn't hungry.

"Joy? Is that all you have to say? Morelle can finally help us get home, Onyx. Home!"

Morelle coughed. Gees, but Moonstone was squeazing him tight!

"You can't keep it. Onyx is a wizard, and they can use magics to locate objects they are familiar with. The Captain would not be thrilled to know that someone can locate his ship at whim, which means anyone who can control that someone can find the ship, which means none of the defensive measures we have emplaced on this ship would function as they are supposed to. The displacement charms only go so far as the ship, but if a perticular object or focus was used, they could target it instead. That is why the captian regularly dispells magic on all of the objects on the ship which people might use to locate us." The minotaur did not look impressed.

"You would be wiser to reconsider such gifts in the future." Looking at the Earth Fire, Warhammer noted how easily the guardian was sleeping. "He feels succure, which he can on this ship. The crew has been informed of his... Powers."

The wide open sea was no place for a halfling, yet alone his riding dog. "Braver, do not fear. For I, Gil-Hadriel Thefhand of the house of Don Thefhand, shall call upon the might defender of all, Helm, To allow our safe passage through these eriee waters!" The stout halfling proclaimed reaching his right arm into the air holding out his hand as to to embrace his diety.

"Gil, there has not been a storm on this lake for over a tenday. I do think that we should feel succure as we are. There is no need to be channeling the divine at this time." The pragmatic elf suggested to teh zealous halfling. "You should conserve your energy for when we reach our destination, our preliminary scouts have discovered that the Prince has been active, and is still in the area."

"Well... Uh... I guess... I will keep watch for those sneaky storms of EVIL with my vigalient steed." The halfling procliaemd as he sped towards the opposite rail of the vessel with his trusted mount, Braver Justicepaw, in persuit.

The elfish vessel sped across the waves much faster than a ship normally would with no winds. The sails were full, and constantly catching the breeze created by the wizard stationed behind them. The course of the ship remainded steady, and the speed remained consistantly high. So far, the GTS Integrity had had a few set backs, including several skirmishes with Salmander's fleet, which have given their target time to escape this pursuit.

This valient vessel was not deturred, on its fifth century of hunting a specific drow warrior they had time and again had to restock the crew with new blood, as any engagement with this drow was usually bloody and always crippling. Only two elves remained form the initial fourty four that set out on this campain, Elric the Archer and Celeste. The remainder on the ship is the gathered survivors a several elvish kingdoms, and two none elves Gil and Phyran.

The ship was armed with a nice array of seige weapons to expand upon the already impressive arsenal of wizardry. Only one catapult was on the ship, situated on the stern, but three balista were placed along the deck to enable this ship to elimiate enemy sails, or to traget large fish. This crew had been together for a short time, in the minds of the elves, but they were managing to get along swimingly.

She lowered her head. "I am sorry Warhammer." She took a deep breath. "I have been...distrubed of late and not thinking well." She stoof up, looking like it was quite effort to do so, and almost lazyily trudged over, picked up the feather. She twiled it a moment between thumb and forefinger, watching the light of the fire as it made the fether shine. She sighed again, and threw it in the fire.

"I am sorry, Onyx." Then she looked to Warhammer. "Better?"

She shrugged. "He is tired. His mistress is safe. He deserves some sleep."

Terran? By the time the Nightmare stopped, he was more or less writhing in pain, clothes cut and burned by fire, his body also showing signs of char marks and gashing from the horse's hooves and also the terrain of the Underdark. Though he was still alive...just rather dead looking. Not to mention Nightmare was having fun stomping on him from time to time and breaking a few of his light elvish bones. She was enjoying herself, Terran was not. And pity was, Terran knew this was only the beginning of this all. Malik was drow.

She flinched when he touched her, and of course that only made her tremble more from how still present fears, giving a whimper in accompaniment to the action. Though he lifted her head and her eyes connected to his...she didn't really see him, more of looked through him really. Piper's normally bright eyes were dull now, even the gold flecks refusing to give up any natural glimmer whatsoever. It would probably be best compared to the look of a freshly broken slave. Piper perhaps would of called out for Malik...but she knew what happened when she did that and her knowing of it repressed the action.

Kieran was that quiet dangerous again, watching Kaden closely, every now and then giving a look at his daughter to make sure she was still breathing. After all, being soaked with that much blood not to mention having it pool under her was a worry. Though his scholarly mind was working for him...the chain that was between the two elves...it was familiar to his mind. Then it clicked. It was a drow implement he had seen before...made for the exclusive point of making living shield and torture. A look to Malik."Don't touch Kaden...at all..." Well...this complicated matters.

Tarathiel sighed. Paitence was Tarathiel's major weakness. He had none.

Warhammer shoke his head, "If you wish to contact someone, just ask me or the Captain... The drow will not help you, for one, the do not understand this tongue very well. The other non-drow... Aven and Tames would be honoured to help you, but the other two... They would want compensation." The minotaur watched the feather burn. "I am sorry you had to destroy such a valuable keep sake. Did it mean much to you?"

Onyx growled, and got up, slamming his hands on teh table.

"I'm NOT going home! I don't want to go home! why woudl I go back after I came here to get away from it?"

A flicker of an ear.

"She burned it."

That took most the fight out of him.

"So much for that. you want to go home, you go right ahead. I'm not going back unless mother or father come and drag me back. I'm not going to be a second rate cymarron, and I'm not going to put up with the kelves or any of them. and I'm not going to get looked at like I'm some kind of demon by those damned villagers either."

He shoved the food he was eatting aside, and moved otu and upstairs back to thier shared room.

The almos mad attitude dropped, and suddenly Moonstone became quite concerned for his brother. Didn't want to go home? It's where they belonged, how could he survive without the glorious sun?

He followed his brother. "Burned it? Who burned what?"

Second rate...that's how he felt. Moonstone tried to understand the feelings, because he only understood the words. he followed Onyx upstairs to the room, not one to let things die.

"What makes you think your second rate? and what's wrong with the kelves?"

She sighed, but she wasn't certain. "It meant something." It had meant more to a freind than to her, but she would have kept it for eons for that reason alone.

Confused, hurt, she watched the little whisps of feather ash swirl about in the smoke. "If he was tracking me...he'll be upset."

Malik knew that look. Knew it far too well. He didn't even hear Kieran. but his back remaned to both the surface elves, and he took off his right gauntlet, dropping it on the ground and showing that under it was another ornate glove, with mithril plates in it nad markings upon it. His voice was cold, glacially so.

"You either let her go Kaden. or I will kill her myself. better dead than broken like this. and without your shield...you will have nothing to spare you from me. nothing at all. I will see you scream, and beg. I will personally disect your body while my necromancers keep you alive. I will gorge myself on your entrails, and use you to decorate my floors in your blood and your skin. I will keep you alive through all of it. I'll tear off your skin and let it regrow so I can do it again."

His eyes moved to Kaden, void of any emotion but one. Hate.

"And after the centuries pass, and you only know pain...and the gods forget you..or won't aid you, or answer your prayers for death, I'll let your body die, as my necromancy traps your soul, and I'll bind you a peice of paper, burn it, and bind you to another before your soul gets to escape. And when my time comes, I'll put your soul in a bottle like a genie, and my children will continue your torments..down through the ages until there isn't a D'vinn to torture you. and after that you can spend enternity in a bottle."
