"Yes, she is though I'm more friends with her sister." For some reason Diviana and her had just clicked better but they were all friends. Her pale cheeks flushed a little as she shook her head to Beverly's next question. "I'm an only child. I used to go to Divi or...someone else but Divi has her own set of problems now and the other doesn't need anymore of my tears." At this, she probably looked a little angry but it couldn't be helped when talking about Loki.

I am an only child, as well, Beverly started with a smile. But I had friends where I am from who provided for me, she continued with a nod. How could a friend get tired of tears when they are essentially supposed to be there for that? As long as they get an equal amount of smiles! she chimed happily, tilting her head to Desiree. Smile?

Sure! There are places around here. Keiko paused to think for a moment, smiling. There's a mall, a general restaurant, a cafe, a bar and grill... The woman trailed off, attempting to remember everything she had passed. Ah! I think I even saw a pizzeria.

Really? The boy asked, his eyes reflecting pure delight. Oh, I would be much appreciative i-if you would come with me. he said, shuffling his feet as he felt a little silly for requesting the woman's company. I-I can pay for it, i-if you want, he added, the offer making him blush deeply.

I can also pay, she nodded. I don't think it would be fair to make you pay if it... wasn't a date. Keiko blushed now, looking around. She felt silly for even mentioning such a thing to someone as young as him. I can pay for my own, the woman said, hoping that what she previously mentioned wasn't heard.

Keiko's own embarrassment made Tanaka laugh, but he promptly hid it behind the sleeve of his brightly colored coat. I offered because it was my idea to go find food. He nodded to establish his opinion, and pressed his lips together before offering a bright smile to Keiko, feeling more at ease for some strange little reason after her display of awkward feelings. I'll follow you, yes?

Mmhmm, she smiled. The woman turned and looked around for a moment, beginning in the direction she was sure she came from. Keiko led the other to the pizzeria she had passed on her way to the gardens.

Demons, ahh, I see, Beverly laughed, looking to Desiree. This... Loki, she started. I assume you two were involved romantically? she asked, tilting her head. She hoped she wasn't out of line by asking.

Desiree blushed slightly with her guess but nodded still the same. "It turned out that he was...is an incubus. I had fallen on my own...but his 'feelings' weren't true." She still hated him for all the pain he had caused her, for all he had taken from her, and for following her like a lost puppy to the Underground. "If you ever happen to meet him, just walk away. He'd only try to get you naked in bed...or in the bushes, on a couch, or where ever you happen to be." She hoped her bluntness didn't surprise Beverly too much but it was the truth.

Oh, I see. I have never had an encounter with an incubus. A succubus, yes, but she is very sweet, Beverly said, pressing her lips together in thought. She let her hands fall to her lap before looking to the woman beside her. I can feel the pain he has caused you... and I want you to know that it's okay. We all have pain inside, and that's part of life. We musn't think that life is any less important through our pain, or because of our pain. Life has many lessons, and some of them are... quite horrible, she sighed, frowning as she let a hand brush Desiree's cheek.

Desiree continued looking at her flute, a frown on her lips. But Beverly was right...and Desiree needed to move on. She just hoped that Loki would keep his distance so she'd be able to. When feeling Beverly's hand, she blushed a little then looked at her. "Thank you. I guess I'm just holding onto it too much...and I'm sorry to have dumped that on you."

Beverly shook her head, laughing softly. Don't worry about that, I can handle it and then some, she said, moving her hand to the woman's shoulder. Do you feel any better talking about how you feel? she asked, tilting her head.
