[Sanity_is_for_the_Weak] I think it would be really sweet to see some chaotical Tau. I know Ive said that before. Technically, as the Tau have little to no prescene in the warp, Demons can't actually sense them so wouldn't be able to commune with them. Although the nearest we get to Chaos Tau is in the Fire Warrior Book, when Kais grabs the axe and screams BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD and attacks the greater demon. Then spends the rest of his days in an asylum on T'au.

Van Evok stealths rock, they can pump out rain of pulse rifle while about 50% undetectable, have jump-shoot-jump packs and marine save... What you need is a Stealth Team of 6 with drone controllers and two gun drones each. 18 stealthed models razz deadly. I used this recently against a marine player they either destroyed a unit or pinned it per turn!

I used this recently against a marine player they either destroyed a unit or pinned it per turn! a nasty 30 shots on the poor target you've chosen. And whats good is that they you can take 12wounds and you'd still have the stealth suits with thier 18shots. But it comes at a very high price of 300points all together... But seeing 18 JSJ back into hiding would be a sight to see.

Yeah it hurts razz of course a pathfinder unit works in tandem with this unit markerlighting up their target to increase their BS and cause leadership penalties on pinning tests. It works rather well with the team leader having a fusion blaster and a hardwired target lock.

30 shots of S5 kill light infantry (guard, eldar, baby bugs) by dozens... and even marines fail their saves eventually. Of course pathfinders upping bs of unit and incurring ld penalty on pining make this even more deadly. With +2 bs this unit can wipe 20 gaunt brood in one salvo!

They can take on an infantry squad really. But even with MEQ or TEQ armour, they will lose thier saves eventually and if your lucky you can wipe out at least half of a spacemarine squad with 2 marklight hits....probably alot more.
So far ive got just 3 stealth suits but im going to try that strategy once i get another 3. It definitly worth the 300points against a GEQ army

oh sorry, my bad. its the type of units that have the same saves. GEQ: gaurdsman equivalent +5 save MEQ: Marine equivalent +3 save TEQ: terminator equivalent +2 save
ie, a broadside has TEQ armour, and crisis suits have MEQ armour

I think two teams of stealths, both having markerlight drones, and then cross-marking targets so they follow the specific rule.

[Sanity_is_for_the_Weak] I think two teams of stealths, both having markerlight drones, and then cross-marking targets so they follow the specific rule. markerlights are heavy, so the whole team cant move...deafeats the idea of being able to jump shoot and then jump back to safety

Having 2 teams that each marks for the other? That's illegal. All firing from one unit is simultaneous, so the First unit will have already fired once the second unit hits with it's Markerlights. Just use the Networked Markerlights the Marker Drones have to benefit the unit they're in.
