I really like the Forge World miniatures, but they are so expensive, actually im not a fan of Krieg, I prefer the Droop Troopers from Ellysia, or Tallarn desert forces

That Vanquisher is making me want to start becoming a tread head.
And that Krieg squad at ease has enthralled me. I wants it.
Side note, what is the Thudd Gun, like a multishot mortar of sorts?

Well, I've been dancing around the idea for a bit, but now that either the pound is worth less or the dollar is worth more (all I know is that the currency converter said it was cheaper) I'm thinking about buying a squad. The price is a static £32, which right now is a little bit above $60 (it's usually closer to $70). Anyway, all three squads cost the same amount, but I don't know which one I want to get quite yet, and was wondering if you all had any opinion on the matter. I was going to either get the firing or advancing squad before I got one that was at ease, but if they all cost the same, I may as well get my points worth and buy a Grenadier squad, which I feel are rather badass. It's normally 1.50 to the pound, but now it's more 2 dollars to the pound. It works out to about 60 dollars.

-Mykal For a while there is was about $2.20 for every £1, but maybe that was just a long time ago and it stuck in my mind... sweatdrop Does that mean that the models are more expensive for stateside people at the moment?

Well if you're paying duble wha we do, but of your currency, it's exactly the same.
To put things in perspective, over here it's 8 dollars for a gallon of "gas" and 4 dollars for a pot of GW paint.

Simply put: The dollar is worth less then the Euro and the Euro is worth less then the Pound Sterling.
Currently, one Pound Sterling translates into 1.93 USD's

For me buying from America, very very yes. biggrin

Oh come on, just buy it already! Most people aren't that fortunate to be able to buy it, so get on with it.

As soon as I get some money in the bank I'll order one of the sets. xp However, I still don't know which one to get yet. EDIT: I've decided, I'm getting the advancing squad. 3nodding

Hmmm, it would appear that the Korps are already being discussed here, and that I shouldn't have posted that thread...oh well. It'll be deleted, but the Korps shall live on!
Anyways, I'm planning to get a Korps grenadier squad, and possibly a thudd gun or two. Maybe a heavy mortar. I want to see how those guns play out at support for the infantry (mechanized korps grenadiers, with havy mortar/thudd gun support. mmmm)
