Iria smiled at the ebon colored R6 unit, and asked, "Can you play this back for me?" she asked, as the little droid tootled.

"Thank you," Iria said, inserting the disc. Most of the data was service records and their ilk, detailing Mordranna's rank, name and serial number.

For her part, it did Iria's heart good to know that Mordranna served honorably in the Emperor's service. Still, one item in particular piqued her attention.

It was the holo record of Mordranna and an unnamed boy.

Approximately one hundred and thirty years earlier ...

"He won't harm you, or anyone else, ever again," Mordranna said to the boy with a warm smile.

"Are you sure, lady?" the young boy asked her.

"Yes," Mordranna said. "I will do my best to reunite you with your parents, if at all possible,"

"They're dead," the boy sniffled sadly.

Mordranna shook her head. "I'm sorry," she replied.

The boy then looked up at Mordranna. "Lady ... since you don't work for the Empire anymore, will you help me find a new mommy and daddy?" he asked.

Mordranna smiled and hugged the boy. "I will do my best,"

Iria could only stare agape at the ancient holo. Still, she did manage a smile. So, that's what she did afterwards, she reflected, even after witnessing the execution of Sarton just before.

"I hope to be just as good a person, if not better," she contently sighed.

Iria reached down and placed her hand on her companion's shoulder, squeezing lovingly. "I will do my best to see to it that you will be, though I don't doubt you have it in your heart be to at least as good this very moment. Good intentions are a wonderful start, but going through with them is the challenge. But whatever the hurdles, I want you to be happy with who you are, and with who you've become, but eager to pursue the potential person you can be." Without explanation, she leaned down further, giving Iria an affectionate kiss on the forehead.

Iria chuckled and blushed at that. "Well, thank you, Vera," she said, relishing being pecked on the forehead. I wonder how that would be like with Gunther, she silently mused to herself, wondering how the young man was faring.

(( awwu, how cute! ^^ heart ))

Vera pulled away quickly, as if she lost her balance, but deftly used that illusion to hide the intense reddening of her cheeks. "...My pleasure, Iria." She lay back in bed, "And now I think we should rest."

Iria nodded in agreement. "Yes. It has been a long day, and there is much to do." She smiled at her tenderly.

As Ferno pushed on further into the temple, he suddenly heard a Voice echoing off the cavern walls.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't my old aquaintence, Darth Ferno."
Hiko Shin emerged from the shadows further up the cavernous hall, his bearded face marked with a confident smirk and his stance that of unconcerned calm.

"Seems the years havent been all that kind to you, boy. But then again, the Dark side does have the tendancy to make its practicioners ugly as sin. Darth Maul, Darth Sideous, Darth Vader, None of 'em could ever make the cover of a holomagazine with their looks."

He paused and pondered that a moment with an amused smirk. "Yep...come to think of it, every Darksider Ive ever known usually just becomes more shriveled, disfigured, and just plain more unpleasant to look upon every time they get stronger in the Dark Side. Have you ever noticed that, Ferno? Makes me wonder why so many pretty young females think becoming a Sith is a good career move, when they're just gonna become shriveld old cronse all the faster. Such a shame. But I digress."

He glanced about the surrounding Caverns and gave an apologetic shrug. "Sorry about the mess. Had I known you were comming, I'd have tidied up the place. But you never call, you never write, you just show up out of the blue with your personal yacht and start deploying stormtroopers in my back yard."

He shook his head slightly. "Then again, you've always been a rude little barve; Flitting about like you own the whole galaxy, sucking up the soup of total strangers and choking folks left and right. Just like a Sith. Except for the soup part, of course. No manners whatsoever."

Ferno made no response. He barely even gave the jedi master a glance before returning to the rocks, searching for the eminating crystal.

HM, however, continued the conversation with a simple reply. "I think you may misunderstand your predicament jedi. Consider yourself lucky you're not the target today."

Ferno stopped moving, as HM picked up on his master's cue. "Recorded, master. Coordinates sent now. The scanning team should not be too long."

Ignoring the Droid, Hiko chuckled.
"What? Thats it? No dire promise of Doom and Death? No venting of long pent up rage? Not even a self congratulatory Evil Cackle? Ferno, you disapoint me. But it just goes to show you're still as Rude as ever."
He flicked a glance to the droid. "You're going to want to stand Outside the Cave for a good transmission. The native Rock and the very make up of the cyrstals interfere with broadcasts and external scans. Which is why this place is so hard to find. You cant get a signal out and it doesnt show up on planetary scans."
The Jedi Master looked back to Ferno and stroked his beard thoughtfully."So what is it this time? Did you break your lightsaber, Ferno? Sorry but we dont get any Red Crystals here."

Ferno stared more at the rock, before drawing his lightsaber. Stabbing into the rock itself, he let the blade begin to melt the stone. HM took no notice over the jedi's comments, preparing a small detonation charge. Ferno retracted his blade, and with a small flick of a wrist, channeled air down the hole, cooling it off. HM placed the small charge down the hole, and the pair retreated.

"Recieved. Command has secured the coordinates. Admiral Veers reports that you have a message waiting for you. At least, that is what the troopers report." HM noted. "Signal ready to prime at your mark, master."

Hiko noted the Sudden withdrawl of the Sith and his droid from the hole Ferno made and decided to follow their example, cleaing out of the area Standing next to the Sith and his Droid, the old master eyed the hole curiously.
"Mining? Hmm. Generally you need a permit for that sort of thing. Plus, as the standing owner of this cavern system, I dont seem to recall giving you tresspassers permission to start blowing up sections of my property."

The last part of the jedi's speech was lost to the echo of the explosion. a river of fire spewed out of the hole, as the rest seemed unaffected. Then, unclentching his fist, Ferno moved forwards to the stone, as the wall slowly melted into a pile of rubble which contained fragments of hundreds of small crystals. Slowly, the fragments floated up into the air, and began to construct a crystal before Ferno, the red refracting from his mask's eye sensors.

He touched it, as it gave a playful jerk, and it danced around the sith like an excited puppy dog. It gave up this dance after several seconds, as it began to lead the way deeper into the caverns, with droid and sith in tow.

Hiko sighed as the Sith continued to ignore him. "You know, for someone so hell bent on his revenge, you seem to be managing to ingore me rather well. I suppose you must have gotten Soft over the years."

He proceeded to follow the Sith deeper into the caves, still chatting casually with the brooding figure who seemed to ignore his presence.
"Maybe you have started becoming more Machine than Sith; you know, what with your burning anger being replaced by cold logic and indifference. Perhaps you should just start calling yourself Dath Borg, or Darth Droid...no no..not scary enough...Perhaps Darth Rust? Rust is scary. Especially for your fellow droids. Though it doesnt quite match your whole Vader-esque feel. Perhaps you can ask Darth Krayt if you can take that one again, given that the Patent on it probably has run out by now. You can have your soup can introduce you as Darth Vader II, or Darth Vader 2.0." He mused on that thought briefly, again stroaking his beard. "Though with all the Sith Krayt has running around, I suppose that and all the really good names have been taken...Oh well, I'm sure if you kill enough of them you can free up a few good ones that would better suit your noncominicative androidish demeanor."

The crystal bobbed along, pieces falling to the floor of the cavern as it went deeper and deeper, until it wedged into a boulder. Ferno, taking his right arm, pushed the man-sized boulder several feet left, opening up another arch of a doorway, a crack about 8 feet tall. The crystal loosened itself, as Ferno guided his own way in. The droid fell in behind Ferno, and stopped, as it analyzed the room.

"Master, there is... Yes master." HM started, as Ferno watched the crystal fragment bound to the center of the cavern. It illuminated a strong vein that ran laterally down the wall and halfway across the ground. Bulbous spikes of pure crystal jutted out of the ground, but these were far too weak for Ferno's needs. He felt the stale air always being absorbed into him, as he moved along deeper into the recesses of the mines.

"Calculations indicate we'll reach the objective in another... 48 feet." HM noted. Ferno breathed slightly heavier than he normally had, this would take quite a long trip to get to his objective, it seemed...

((Since the Colonists are your NPC Cale I guess I better ask you if I can interact with them. And Nelo, can I interact with some stormtroopers if they make a move against the colonists?))

Journeyman was searching with his mind, keeping all his energy used for finding the colonists and hiding his presence. He hoped with the destruction of his ship he could move about un-noticed and presumed dead.

"Nevermind meh'self, you'll learn bout me and mine soon nough. But what is dis something up-front?" Luger asked after scooping up the voucher and reading it over. 10k in credits. Sounds nice, but he knew if anything serious happened that it would cost the lil girl more. Haldir just gave her a peachy little smile, his eyues squinting closed as he did, tilting his head a degree to the side.
