"How about I get my usual lecture from my mom and then I'll come back and we can go somewhere nice?" He smiled, trying to hide how excited he was. "I'll be back a little later," Mike said as he started for the door. "Just train so next time I fight you I won't beat you so easily!" He lied through his teeth as the doors closed behind him. "I can't beat her anyway." A sigh left him as he traveled the all too familiar rode back to his house, the mailbox still tilted to the side from when Mike was playing football. "Home sweet crazy home." He said to himself as he opened the door.

(I exist. Honestly I do.) The ringing of his PokeNav was so loud and shrill that it woke him outright. Keegan bolted up, looking around frantically. He snatched the device from the table next to him, quickly turning the ringer off as he answered, not wanting to awaken the other patrons of the Pokemon Center. "Hello?" he asked, keeping his voice down as he slipped his shoes on and quietly made his way outside. "Kasiya, is that you?"

"Yep, it's me!" Kasiya replied cheerfully, forcing her tiredness away. "I kinda forgot to call you earlier, but I want to let you know that everything's ok." She shifted a bit on her feet, not wanting to tell him about the new mission to confront Giovanni. "Um, I hope you're not mad at me," she said after a moment or two. "I didn't mean to forget, honestly."

( gonk Kasi dun love me no more!!! emo ) Keegan gave a chuckle, stretching as he walked around. “It's okay,” he said. “I kind of figured you'd forgotten, but the fact that you didn't need me to go rushing in to save you hinted that things were alright.” He'd removed the bandage from his arm, pleased to see it had healed over quite well. He'd be scarred, but it didn't matter. He figured he'd think of some crazy adventure story to tell people when they asked him later in life. “So no, I'm not mad. Just the opposite, actually. I'm glad you and your friends are all safe and sound.”

"Okay Mike," Flannery smiled, giving a little wave as he headed towards the door. "Say hi to your mom for me." She watched him go, giving a little sigh as she turned and released Magu, her Magcargo from his Pokeball. "Good morning!" she said, and soon followed up by releasing everyone else. She walked around, watching the trainers with their Pokemon, pleased to see how well they were progressing.

"That's a relief," Kasiya laughed nervously. "I was afraid you'd be mad." She yawned again, her eyes half closing and she stumbled a bit as she walked. "However, I am so tired. My bed calls to me," she said, her house coming into view. She wasn't even sure if Nina and Kilik were following her anymore. "Oh yeah just so you know, we're back in Vermilion," she added, stopping on the stairs and looking up. All the lights were off, and the door was locked. She grumbled when she realized the spare key was missing from its usual hiding place. "No sleep for the wretched," she groaned, sitting on the steps and pouting.

(You're mean. Like fire ants.) Keegan only grinned. It didn't take much to anger him, truthfully he had a fairly short temper. He listened to her shuffle around, a bit confused at her actions. “You at home then? What are you doing? And what do you mean, wretched?”

"I'm sitting on my front steps," Kasiya told him, staring at the ground below her. "I can't find the spare key and I'm locked out. This is not good." She sighed. "I guess we gotta go to the Pokemon Center and crash," she said, standing up and leading her friends (that is, if they'd been following her. If not, she was alone) along the way. "Are you still in Celadon?" She thought for a minute about riding there and meeting with him, but terrifying thoughts of what had happened the last time she'd ridden a bicycle while she was exhausted haunted her.

(You know what I mean. 3nodding ) “Yep, I'm still here,” he replied, not letting on that he'd been awoken. But then again, he didn't want her to think he'd been up waiting for her phone call either. “Just chillin'. You know.” He felt a yawn coming on himself, and he suddenly wished he was home in his own bed. “You should just go to the Pokemon Center and rest up for the night,” he told her. “We can meet up tomorrow or whatever, you know.”

"Yeah, I suppose," Kasiya said, closing her eyes. He'd be upset if I told him about confronting Giovanni face to face, she thought, pursing her lips. “I'm not sure what's going on yet, but Kilik may need my help with something tomorrow.” She groaned a little as Adamantine climbed up onto her lap. There was no doubt – the baby Larvitar was growing an an incredible rate.

Suddenly he felt quite drowsy. "That's fine," he said, walking around a bit to help wake up. "I was thinking of maybe heading back to Hoenn for a while anyway. I'm a little homesick," he admitted, wishing he could take a nice relaxing dip in the hot springs. "Then possibly heading to Rustboro City to challenge the gym leader there for a chance at my own first badge."

”Really?” Kasiya asked, suddenly intrigued. “You know, I've only been to Hoenn once, and it was not for good reasons. I'd love to go back and roam around for a while. It's always fun to visit a new region. Oh! And did I tell you? The Sevii Islands are beautiful! We need to go back there and explore too.” She stood up, recalling her snoozing Larvitar into her Pokeball, and doing the same to the rest of her team, save for her Raichu. The electric Pokemon chose to climb up onto her shoulders and hitch a ride as they neared the Pokemon Center. Kasiya stepped through the sliding doors, happy to see it was practically vacant. She gave the somewhat-tired looking Nurse Joy her Pokemon for treatment, and sat down on an empty couch to rest. “We're at the Pokemon Center now,” she said, another yawn escaping her. “I'll give you a call tomorrow, or you can call me or whatever. Goodnight!” she said, and clicked it off. She lied back on the couch, and was out like a light in mere seconds.

"Well, when we get the chance, I'll show you around a bit. We should go to Fortree City. It's a lovely place, all the houses are in the treetops." Keegan walked up to the doors of the Pokemon Center. "We'll figure something out. Have a good night," he told his friend as he clicked off his PokeNav. He turned the ringer back down, and set it in his pocket as he went back inside and back to bed. He didn't fall asleep right away, his mind was too busy planning what he'd do next in his adventure.

"Electabuzz!" Wattson cried out. The Pokemon fell foreward with a thud onto the ground. Electabuzz didn't move for a moment. It slowly tried to get up, but fell right back to the ground. "Return, laddie..." he whispered, calling back his Pokemon. "Let's see if you can touch this! It's Jolteon time!" he threw the Pokeball containing the thunder evolution of Eevee.

"Of course I'm up for it!" Ryka answered, putting a fist up. "I won't let them get away with anything anymore. Not after what they tried to do to Vixen.." She looked up at Jaeshan. "But who is this 'Kilik' guy? I've been hearing a lot about him lately."
