Ertai Vexic
Katars are another tricky weapon, you need to be really skilled with H2H before you use these.
I think I can preform pretty well with them. I'm not as bad as you think Ertai, I've got many ideas within me head. Now, if I only I could remember my damn weapon list.

Psychofish Nightsnow A large circular metal ring. Ah, yes, that's a good one too, thought on it but never rp'ed with it. I do a lot of unusual weapons, almost entirely unusual ones, but their mostly odd swords, and I rarely fight much with them anyway, their just a precaution. My PvP is inclusive of only two matches after all, though I've had plenty of fights with NPCs detailed enough to be PvP. EDIT: I've done katars. Ever tried wires as weapons? *hint*

Nihilistic_Impact I find it interesting that people hear warhammer and instincitvely think of mauls.
Sorry. That's just my general mental pic; I always viewed what you're using as a War pick...

I try to use ki to assist guiding such weapons. It does help a bit.

Wires are only good if there is tension in them, getting that tension is the problem.
That and it is harder to manipulate the movements of wires because of how little mass the cord posses, so you need a weight on the ends, and then there is always knowing where it is because of its thinness posses another problem.

Whatever happened to that betting system you set up, Trei? Y'all should start making some bets on these matches.
Edit: Oh yeah, Ertai, I couldn't check out the song in your profile because I'm on a super-old, shitty comp with no sound. Is it that Disarmonia - Celestial song?

Eh. My first weapon I roleplayed with on forum (Gaia being my first forum, so here) was a broad blade short sword on a coil of lithe chain, connecting to the underside of the wrist of a thick-built guantlet.
Pushes reality a little, and I used it pretty poorly (see unrealistically) when I started, but I've become much more conserved about it and found new ways to use the thing since.

Probably another unusual weapon worth mentioning would be a long silk cloth, with weight attached on the end.
- Wires may be ineffective at times, but they're good at close range, especially good if a wire is looped around a joint and then - pull!

lol, my first weapon was an arsenal. I came onto Gaia playing a 15-year-old kid with a green mohawk and super strengh who rode around on a motorcycle with a flamethrower in his grasp, pistols and knives tucked into every pocket, belt, and orifice (a knife between his teeth), a pink elephant gun on his back, grenades, some katanas strapped here and there, and more. I'd just ride around picking random fights with whole places and torching s**t, and pretty much ducking-and-covering from the super-magic users. Then I encountered Doji Kurohito who used nulelementals to stop all my guns, so I had to take like two minutes out of the match to unstrap everything, then fought him with swords...and he was way more experienced and pretty much cut me up and killed me. And it was after my resurrection that I started using powers.
