"well i was at the warehouse, we were eating lunch and deo slipped and asked azriel why he wanted the pack out of the picture. after that i basically squeezed all the info out of him. including the fact that i`zale is leading the whole thing." he explained.

"Besides, he doesn't want to destroy the pack, at least not yet. It's not his style, he likes to build up on one thing before doing another but it's obvious that he's planning something with it eventually. As for you vampires." he said pointing a finger at Mortis. "Why should the coven be concerned anyway? It's Lycans fighting Lycans don't you think they'ed be pleased with that?"

mortis grunted in annoyance. "don't you listen jaden?? that kind of careless fighting threatens to expose all of us to the free human world, including 'us vampires'. why the hell else would we have tried to stop logan last time? and there aren't just lycans in his group. he is trying to get the demons involved too. and no doubt he'll try to get to the vampires as well." mortis explained.

"Yep, that sounds like him." Jaden said sitting back. "I wouldn't exactly call him careless though, meticulas is more like it. You know we found out that he was stalking Dusk for weeks before he abducted him, and then he took his sweet time doing what he wanted. This is a guy who can wait forever. This is a game to him and he's not nearly as reckless as you may think he is."

"and as for why i told you and not dusk is bacause of two reasons. 1)you may not realize it but i am compassionate towards others. i figured that stressing him about i`zale after what had happened wasnt the best thing. 2)he wouldn't wait long enough to hear me out. he would have killed me before i said two words to the guy."

Jaden raised his ears in suprise before sitting up as well. "And how did you know I wouldn't?!" he said in exasporated tones. "Am I just some big puppy dog now not to be taken seriously? You know absolutly nothing that we don't already know. So blah blah good for you, be a good vampire and ignore everything else going on and you won't get hurt."

Jadens ears perked up. He had never been a collector of information, that was more like Adels thing. "Okay I give you credit. You knew something that I didn't. So she's basically a shell used to hold destructive energy. I'm still not quite getting why this is relavent though." he said.
