Dark recalls Diddy after freeing the Ducklettes and continues on, watching Maddy slip.
"Not used to ice are you?" Dark chuckles and loses his balance, causing his legs to slip apart a bit. He ends up leaning forward, holding himself up with his hands. "Guh, stupid ice."

Allen laughed at Dark's trouble with the ice, "Try this..." He walked forward, looking suspiciously like a penguin Prinplup and it looked kind of ridiculous, but it prevented him from slipping.

Maddy slowly started to get a hang of walking on the ice.
"It's not so bad once you get used to i--?!"
Suddenly she plummeted through, finding herself in over her head in freezing cold water. She flailed around a little, not sure what to think and found herself swimming down instead of up.
"GOD DAMMIT!" The only sound that came out really was the rush of bubbles. Righting herself, she found the surface.
"Well then. I would find the one place where the ice is thin." She complained, trying to grab onto the ice and pull herself out. Her hands were too slippery though, and she couldn't get a grip.
She sighed and tread water.
"Little help, please."

"That is ridiculous." Dark says to Allen before watching Maddy fall into the water. When she comes back up, her offers her his hand.
"....Wait you were saying something about a green orb?" He asks, just realizing.

"Rediculous, but effective." Allen, moved closer as well, offering his hand as well. Cecil, pops out of his Pokeball, hoisting Maddy out of the water with his Psychic so the rest of them wouldn't fall in from the cracked ice.

Maddy would've gladly grabbed their hands, but being lifted out via Psychic probably was the safest bet. She got to her feet, shivering.
"Y-Yes, Green Orb-b-b."
She let out her Fletchinder once more and also her Houndour. Holding the two Pokemon close to her, she used their warmth to heat her body up (much to their protest!).
"Th-There's s-supposed to be a-another L-L-Legendary Pokemon-n-n. L-Let's k-keep going."
Today just wasn't her day.

Dark gives Maddy his coat.
"Another?" He asked. He hadn't come across a third Pokemon during his research. Although he hadn't been looking for one.

Allen listens intently, A third... Wouldn't that just make things worse though? Adding another legendary Pokemon into the mix seemed like the opposite of a solution. Allen kept Cecil out of his Pokeball just in case there were any other Problems on the ice.

Maddy graciously accepted Dark's coat.
"U-Unlike Kyogre and G-Groudon, this Pokemon h-has the ability to n-negate w-weather. It acts as a c-counterbalance to the other t-two."
They came to the entrance of the great mountain. The snow was coming down heavy now. Maddy was glad to get inside, even though it meant be surrounded by people mourning their dead Pokemon.
"L-Legend says that this Pokemon r-resides high in the atmosphere, al-almost in the reaches of space. It n-needs to be called by s-someone possessing the G-Green Orb, kind of like how Kyogre a-and Groudon needed their respective O-Orbs."

"Huh." Dark says, playing a finger on his chin and his thumb behind it. "I suppose that makes sense considering their power... But even with the weather counter-acted what are we supposed to do?" Dark brushes some of the snow off of himself as they go inside.

Allen looks between Dark and Maddy. He had no idea what Maddy had planned, but felt the right course of action would be, "Take the other orbs from Archie and Maxie?" He suggested, looking to Maddy. Would that even do anything to stop Groudon and Kyogre?

They made there way back outside to commence the walk up the mountain side. The weather turned into a vicious snowstorm as they made their way higher and higher.
"This new Pokemon should end the feud between Kyogre and Groudon. I hope."
Learning the true nature of the third Legendary was one of the reasons Maddy needed to come to Mt.Pyre once more.

Dark holds his arm in front of his face to block the vicious snow.
"Ugh I hate the snow." He mutters, trying to keep the other two in sight.
"I wonder if the orbs were buried in that cave or not?" Dark says to Allen. "If so that would stop Groudon and Kyogre from being re-awoken again if they go back to sleep."

"I wonder." Allen says, partly agreeing with Dark, "On the other hand, if they still have the orbs they could be using them to control Groudon and Kyogre." The wind whipping across the mountain possibly drowning out his voice. This storm was ridiculous... Allen pulled up the hood on his jacket, tightening the strings to keep it from being blown off.

Eventually they made it to the top of the mountain, where the storm was at it's worse. Visibility was at an all-time low.
"We need to find the old couple. They must have some sort of hut up here."
