There's a beast in every man and it stirs when you put a sword in his hand.

Knives heard the new Genin call asking about some swords smith. He had half a mind to tell the kid to shut up, but he knew better than to do that. he had to remember what he was now, a teacher of swords and sorts. "Only sword smith I know in these parts goes by the name of San." He said to the kid as he put down his scroll to practice another ninjutsu that he was trying to learn.

He felt his chakra within him as he felt fire well up within him, or so he thought. Turns out it was nothing more than heart burn this time around. He sighed and made a second attempt. He had learned how to make clones surely he could learn this technique. He felt his chakra fill him once again. This time he was sure that he would prevail. He felt the chakra within him flow before spewing out a ring of fire around a dummy. Sadly what it produced was little more than tiny embers around the dummy. Upon closer inspection he saw that there were in deed small spiders. But what good were small spiders. The technique called for a much bigger sized spider than this.

Knives sighed and allowed for the embers to die before he tried once more. He focused his chakra within him. It was not an easy thing to unleash fire from within him. It was a dangerous thing to use fire, for fire burns both ways if one is not careful. He focused himself and unleashed the fire within himself before unleashed it around the practice dummy. He wondered why was he using dummies when he had just made a clone to practice with, but that was an after thought. When he had finished unleashing his fire he waited. The fires too their time but soon they began to form a spider. Knives was pleased, for it was a decent sized spider, perhaps more practice could produce a bigger one but it was a start.

Knives wanted more, so he took the time to focus and unleash more spiders from the technique. Each time he practiced he was able to make the technique come a little quicker. Chakra control was much like stamina training he decided. With more repetition the body gets used to using the pathways. He took the time to practice the technique over and over. Soon there would be several spiders. He smiled as he watched the spiders scurry around the university attacking dummies, and causing general mischief.

'Puny little things. Nothing compared to the power I hold. Let me free so I can let you taste the great power that I have!

Knives pointed to a San clone for the knew ninja. "San's a little busy, but pretty sure he's got a clone like that one there available for you to converse with."

Daichi went over to Ayame with Kier following, "Are you done being staticky?" Daichi nodded and sat in front of her. Ayame put her hand on both Kier and Daichi and dissipated the electricity. She scratched Kier on the chin, "I'm sorry Daichi dragged you into that," Daichi barked and nosed her hand, 'Traaaain,' he said. "If we can find a San clone not busy then yes you can train," she said smiling as she petted him as well.

I can hear it calling again
The primal need is filling me
Changes are about to begin
And now my blood is BOILING

James nodded to Sanshi, and then started to take a look around as he felt inside himself, searching for the "valve" that His mentor spoke of. It took him a little while to dig around the vast abyss that was himself but James finally thought he understood the process of Chakra plumbing. Slowly, with the greatest bit of care, James opened his system to the chakra of the world, and let the law of natural balance take its course through the small "opening" he had created.

Keir purred as Ayame petted him, and rubbed against her leg approvingly.

Thwack!!! It was Jame's turns to get smacked with the stick. Speaking, San explained.

"Nope, too much. try it again. If you take in too much, you start to petrefy"

The San clone spoke to daichi

"Focus on your chakra, and take flight!!!

San shook his head again. This was a much harder process then James would suspect.

"Nah, open it more. It really takes a fine touch...you get used to it after a while"

Knives just nodded. Not sure if it was to San or to the new guy or who but when the San clone went over to talk with the new genin that's what he did. He went back to his scroll and found another technique that he had decided would be useful for him to learn.

He had seen this technique before on the roads. Apparently even James was afraid of it. It wasn't that high of a rank technique but if James feared it there must be something behind it. By creating a hand sign Knives was able to replace himself with a boulder. Surprise, a substitution jutsu right? Well not quite, at least Knives hoped that wasn't it. Knives threw a knife at the boulder. Sadly his first attempt did not cause the desired effect with the boulder. The knife just got stuck in the boulder nothing more. Knives sighed as he went to retrieve the blade and try once more. Using his handsigns again he replaced himself with a boulder again. The boulder was of moderate size and seemed to have the right properties. There was only one way to really tell. He took a blade and began to kick it around having fun with the blade before heaving it at the boulder.

This time, the boulder exploded with a good deal of force. Enough to draw some attention from the rest of the younger students might notice it. Many of the older ones were used to such changes from ninjutsu training. Knives let out a smile as he created another boulder, more his size and moved back from it. He chuckled almost as if he was going mad, perhaps he was. Regardless he took another knife from his waist and blasted it into the boulder. As the knife made contact once again with the boulder would explode. This time with a greater force than before. Knives almost cackled in delight in the skill in which he had come to learn through this practice. With his known ability to get in close, an explosion this close to the face would surely be deadly.

Ayame chuckled at the large cat and scratched his back as he went around in circles. Daichi barked at San and tilted his head to the side trying to get a feel for the unfamiliar territory that was his chakra. He first felt out his chakra points and did as he had seen his tamer do. He took a cleansing breath and focused his chakra. He guessed he should just imagine himself like one of those balloons. Those things were so cool. Unless his teeth got it. Then it made this noise that was really loud to his sensitive ears. He really liked balloons. And cats, they were fun to chase. Even going up trees he could still get them. Daichi shook his head and got back to the task at hand. He went back to focusing his chakra and imagined himself floating. He was weightless. Just like a balloon, weightless. He looked down and saw he was off the ground just a little bit. He got excited and thumped back to the ground. He growled and once again focused his chakra. He went off the ground quicker this time, and gave his goofy smile to Ayame. She smiled back at him, "Good job bud." He focused his chakra even more and got to the point to where he was right above their heads. He flew around in a circle for a bit then landed right in front of San, not so well though, he would have to work on that. None of the little cats would see him coming now.
