Spooky-Fangula theres no way in hell im sleeping with him. i have kids and they wake up at night ...which he knows. <.< you just made me skin crawl lol ill just telling him no. im tired of guys only caring for that.....its what made me hate men for a long time....still do really. and im not gonna be a slave again and be mentally and physically abused. im standing up for once for myself....even tho iv iv been told that i have to put out for guys.... neutral ...no my life now. not gonna .... Honey you NEVER have to put out. NEVER, and don;t let ANYONE ever tell you otherwise. I've been there too. *hugs* the next time he gives you s**t about it.. tell him to get his s**t and get out, or it'll be out in the street!

shandrel Okay i am going to go on a little freagen rant here. how many of you SERIOUSLY give a crap about this guild? i mean i have offered prizes that run in the HUNDRED THOUSANDS, and no one gives a s**t? NO ONE is paying a DAMN bit of attention to ANYTHING going on here, i got TWO person participating in TWO different things here, and they are DIFFERENT PEOPLE what the HELL is going on here? do you just not think it is important to answer Guild staff questions? do you just not GIVE a s**t? a good 90 % of this guild is COMPLETELY inactive, and GODS forbid i try to find out WHY. And you know it's not a " HEY b***h WE HAVE LIVES" thing, no, i get that, but i have has this s**t up for a GOOD while now, and i have seen you posting here, and in the rp's and IGNORING everything else. That is BLOODY ridiculous, and i am getting tired of trying to jump start this damn guild by myself, your about to loose the LAST crewmember who gives a damn, cause i don't see ANYONE else doing s**t. I am putting MY hard earned gold out there, i don't have to give a s**t, i don't rp, and i don't DO anything other than staff work.. why? cause i can't even GET INTO THE RP"s, but i don't complain, even though i want to play, i can't and i deal. WHY the hell should i find affiliates, and sacrifice MY time, and my gold, when i can;t even get you guys to fill out a SIMPLE USE FORM >.< it takes 3 minutes AT THE MOST. Twi is obsessed with his student gov't take over, he's NOT going to be on much as he told me his damn self. So that leaves ME here.... twiddling my thumbs, and getting more and more frustrated. At this point i don't give a s**t if you people don't like me, i get that alot. but i am NOT going to just sit by and not say a damn thing until i FINALLY, quit. and everyone wonders why. there... end of rant..... oh yeah folks, we have A new banner, if you don't like it... oh ******** well, you didn't see fit to enter or vote, so yeah, yah'll are stuck with the ONE entry we got. ( scarlet frost this in now way is directed at you, since you are one of the FEW who does pay attentions, and the person who entered the banner contest, your not in this either, you atleast tried for the contest.. enjoy your 100k and please do note there is a thread about the use of the sub forums) Eltanin Sadachbia Sorry beb, that you are so bothered, but honestly, I don't think the guild banner matters to the few active people here.
I think we mostly enjoy the company we have here. I mean... seriously, I love the people who take time every other day or so to check in and say "hi". RPing is just a way to visit and unwind, and share interests. Contests seem to be a way to show off and say "Look at me" or "pick me", and they are easy to find anywhere on Gaia. I would venture to guess that the few actives here feel the same way.
Although we don't have many actives here, I would say I try to remain active because of the few people who post here regularly. Scarlet and Twi are some of my favorite people on all of Gaia, and I would keep up with the guild specifically to see their posts. Layla Oleander's random posts are usually good to make me laugh and say OMG WTF. I honestly really like checking out Sapphirianna's LoZ fan art, but I grew up with Link and Zelda, so I am particularly sentimental towards it.
I recently have been getting to know you a bit, and I think you are pretty cool. Of course anyone who is a caring individual is awesome in my book.
...But to tell the truth, I am just happy to get to visit. I never even notice guild banners, so they really just don't matter much to me. I was actually going to try and make an entry at first, but I have limited resources right now, and my hand-drawn work just didn't look good at all when shrunk... banners are just not my thing in any way.
So, when it all comes down to it, I love quality over quantity. I think the few people who keep up with the place are what make this guild worth coming back to. I belong to several guilds, 5 are so active that I can't even fathom keeping up with everything happening. It's hard to make friends because there are so many people. Here, it's different because the people who post are people I have come to love. I never check the big guilds, but this and 2 other small ones will occupy most of my attention.
Maybe 90% of the members of the guild don't care, but the 10% who do care make it worth staying here. The 90% on the member's roster who don't post often, don't change the friendships that have been forged through the frequent posts. I would have to say that I care about this place allot. I care about it without any gold being offered, or any contests to be had, or even if it didn't have a banner at all. I LOVE YOU GUYS! heart
Elta, while that's all sweet and nice, it hurts. alot. just saying how much you love the place, and how you don't mind if nothing actually gets done, isn't going to chang eth efact that maintaining this guild on the sacrificed time and effort of only 3 people has been difficult and tsressful enough as it is. with me so busy with school, Scarlet and Shandel have been doing almost EVERYTHING by them selves! they have been busting their asses for my sake, because they love this guild as much as I do, and they have proven their loyalty to me by taking this long for even one of them to have th efirst ******** complaint about it. now you just read an outburst from someone who has been doing all the gruntwork and getting none of the playtime, about to explode and ready to leave, and all you have to say about it is "nobody cares, but we love you!"? it doesn't work that way! if Shan were to quit the guild now you can expect most of the current acivity to drop again. and this is realy not one of the most lively times we've had. we can thank Scarlet for her RPs and her Artwork, but what have any of you accomplished for this guild so far? have any of you checked out the Affiliates? have you submitted any Creations or Ideas? brought up any topics of Discussion? offered anyone advice? the Commerce that used to be present has left long ago. I'm as fed up with it as Shan is. I've tried to gently prod, but it looks like she had the right idea. it's time for me to put niceties away, and just tell you all to get the ******** off your asses and get something done! be busy! I don't want to see my beloved RoseSoul Tribe die! if all we do is pop in every few days to say "hi" and laugh at a funny picture, we're not active anymore! I want to see Contests! Games! Shoppes! Debates! Pen Pals! Meet-ups! Networking! Commerce! Donations! Quests! zOMG Crews! is it enough yet when I have to yell? ......... :starts listing people who are still awesom contributors.: ~ Shandrel ~ Scarlet ~ Eltanin ~ Sapph :decides to also list those who's activity I miss.: ~ Apple ~ Zebra ~ StarxCrossedxSky ~ Tabby ~ Spooky Shan and Spooky all that back-and-forthe... to all that, I have to say, first of all, thankyou, Shan, for handling that in my absense. probably not a better person to give advice about that thing than you. and secondly, I hate, passionately, the societal few of Women as not people but rather items. Women are not Sex Toys! they are not inferior to Men! they are not required to do anything they do not want! they deserve so much better than they have! and also, being a male of at least 18 years does not make someone a Man. Adulthood comes with Maturity, and Manhood comes with Honour. contrary to what society would have us believe, Men are not entitled to Sex, and Women are not meant for pairing off with husbands. the sooner folks realize this, the quicker we can all get along. but sadly, this revolution is long in the making, and has been for far too long.

heh. my advice: enjoy being single. relationships are a hassle. I'm still trying to figure all mine out. xp quite frankly, you don't want to even take the first plunge until late highschool.

Anyway, I kinda have to side with Shan. We have a big beautiful guild and so little is going on, it's just a waste! I guess a lot of us are unambitious when it comes to making gold, so maybe we should brainstorm other prizes, like individual items or avi art. The RST is about the community, but we can't BE a community if 90% of our members don't COMMUNE! scream

That would seem like a good idea. But, when I look around my school I notice one thing about most kids. They have mates. Hell, for all I care, I just need someone to make me smile through out the day. Or help me do art~
I would go around more in this guild but... The words you use confuse me! (I am happily failing English on and off.) DX XD

anywho, to make it simple, be active by Starting a Gaian Shoppe, selling your Art, posting your Literature, telling us about Charities or Problems that we can be involved in, and being part of the Events that we talk about.

I have a gaggle of them but--
Two of my best friends moved.
The other one went into a coma for a week and is in a wheelchair.
Two are depressed.
One is a little b***h I wanna murder.
And then the rest scare me.
What? I think you just scared the ******** out of a kid dude. And I am to afraid to get out of my box.

I had a gaggle of friends over on Saturday night. I really can't afford to throw parties, but I do it anyway because it keeps my spirits up. Most of my RL friends are in my church. It's convenient because of religious dietary requirements. xd

I read the new rules thread and frankly, if I'm going to be penalized for being true to my lurker nature then I will seriously consider leaving the guild without bothering with fees or stuff like that. I was invited here and while I like the people here, I will not be told what I will do with my time. I post when I feel that I can make an actual contribution, not just spout off like a newb. I don't really RP anymore and I don't post any serious work of mine online, so I guess I'm screwed. Honestly, I could care less about banners and suchlike. I liked this guild because it was looser than some without being ridiculous. But, if a minority is going to dictate arbitrary rules without consulting the rest of us, then I get a teensy bit concerned confused Did you guys consider the fact that some people may not want to cut in on conversations among "regulars"? Or that (like me) unless a thread title catches my eye I mostly just check this thread?
Do you want to have people willingly participate in animated conversation, or would you like nothing more than a quick "I'm posting I swear just don't take my gold"?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but just popping in here on a regular basis and promptly responding to the occasional interesting thread will keep you from being fined. Plus, just announce when you're taking a leave of absence, and Twi is pretty easy going. I just think that people who stay quiet for months at a time, looking for the "perfect" thread to comment on are the motivational target of the new rules.
