Earendil grinned. "Sounds like a plan. Either way, we should move a bit further from the door so that we're not blocking it, I think."
He headed a bit further from the door, glancing back to see if Lin or Miyuki would follow. He wasn't terribly worried about Miyuki: if she would crawl, he was sure she would make it all right.

Lin had to lift Miyuki up and set her back on the snow so she could follow since otherwise she would be stuck within the path. It was becoming quite obvious how magical elves were as even someone as light as Miyuki began sinking.
It was hard to walk, she would end up tripping, which in turn she would pout up at her mother and then look at Earendil.
"Dil!"

Earendil chuckled and turned around, kneeling down in the snow and holding his hands out to Miyuki.
"Come here, you," he grinned. "Come on. It's not hard, just crawl, okay?"
He clapped his hands, and then held them out to Miyuki again, urging her to come to him over the snow.

Miyuki stood up again, she didn't understand that walking on snow like Earendil was a gift and that her mother had longer legs to be able to walk and not trip. She didn't get all these things, all she knew was that she was to walk.
She wanted to walk, but walking as she took one wobbly step and then another, caused her to fall.
Miyuki, didn't look all too happy about it.

"Awww, poor Miyuki," Earendil chuckled, coming back over to her and picking her up. "I know I'm going to spoil you but you just look so miserable in the snow."
He chuckled again and nuzzled her nose, then set her on his hip and grinned at Lin. "What about you?" he teased her. "Do you need to be carried?"

Lin blushed at that, before mentally whacking her sensibilities into place. He was teasing after all she knew that, but still. The one down side of being a Second was remembering most of her child, she remembered what it was like to be in Miyuki's position.
"I'm sure I can manage," she smiled.
Though it felt a bit shaky to her.

Earendil chuckled and turned away from Lin, heading over to a nearby snowbank. She was just adorable when she blushed like that. Not that he would tell her that.
"Come on, it's not like we're going far," he grinned. He twirled Miyuki around in the air, then plopped her gently in the snow and sat down beside her. "This spot looks as good as any," he grinned up at Lin.

Making her way over to the two of them, Lin stood over Earendil. One of the few times she would ever be able to look down instead of up.
"It is," she agreed with a chuckle.
She bent down to pick up some snow.
Miyuki, seeing as she was sitting on top of the snow decided to try and restart that snow tower that got knocked down yesterday. Even though all she was doing as dumping snow onto more snow.

Earendil grinned up at Lin, and when she bent down he felt the strangest impulse to give her a light push and see if she would fall into the snow. It was snow, after all, it was ... soft.
His grin widened, and he reached over and pushed Lin lightly on the shoulder. Why not, after all? It was just a bit of fun.

She had not been expecting that at all, she seriously had not. With her feet buried somewhat in the snow it was no surprise she easily fell over.
"Eep!"
She tried to catch her balance but instead fell sideways into the snow.
"Earendil!" she pouted and stuck her tongue out at him before lightly chucking the snow she was picking up at him.

Earendil laughed and quickly raised one arm to block the snow, and it hit his elbow and scattered.
"Sorry," he laughed. "I couldn't resist." He looked at her innocently. "Forgive me?"

Lin gave him a pouting look as stayed where she sat. At least he was having fun, she didn't know he had it in him.
"Of course," she replied with a soft smile.
How could she say otherwise?

Earendil kept grinning at Lin, just watching her for a few moments, and then he leaned forward and held out one hand to her, smiling warmly.
"Here," he murmured, "let me give you a hand up before you get soaked."

Lin took his hand and pulled herself up. Not that it would matter if she got more wet by the time they were through, but still it was a nice thought and his hand was still oddly warm despite having been sitting in the snow.

Earendil grinned and sat down next to Miyuki again. "So. Fort. Snowballs. Shall we?"
He picked up a handful of snow and packed it into a ball. "Now what?"
