Tora watched silently, again blaming himself and the Elves who healed him. If only they listened and healed Ambersky instead like he wanted...

Mit put his hands in his pockets as he watched, and found the egg, cradled there. It pulsed in his hand as he pulled it out. He knew it was ready to hatch, but the spell wasn't hot enough. He looked at the fire, then tossed the egg in. It landed on Ambersky's form. The black egg starting to glow brightly.

Tora looked at Mit like he had gone insane. He wasn't aware of what the egg contained since he was unconscious before.

  The egg cracked once then the crack grew until it shattered, and the fire changed. It took form of a bird for several moments until it spat a pint sized creature out at Mit. The little golden red fluff ball shook off a dusting of soot and swacked at Mit. A voice very clearly saying into everyone's head, "MAMA!"Mit looked like someone had shoved a sardine down his throat, "I'm not Mama. I'm Mitica.""MAMA!"

Lennox was laughing behind his hand. Vidar however, dropped a hand on Mit's hand, "Looks like your a mother, and look, it's a bird."
"Ha-ha," Mit said not amused, "I'm a guy." He sighed and put the bird in his pocket, "Don't climb out."
The bird chirped, and nestled down in place, "Love you Mama."

Mit stayed standing as his fire burned over the quickly desecrating body. He slipped a hand into his pocket and stroked the fluff of the baby Phoenix. It was custom for the viewers not to leave until the flames had died down. They hungered at the gruesome tender, like angry babes. Even as Mit's expression darkened, The phoenix cooed every now and then, trying to get him away from such thoughts.

After a long time The flames couldn't find anything else to gobble up, they started to go down, having turned everything into white ash. The priest started to gather up the ash, the eldest walked over, "Mit, where would you like us to release his ashes."
Mit looked down, trying to figure out one of Ambersky's favorite places, "Um.... The Cliffs... The northern Cliffs, the ones that over look the forest... That was his favorite place to sun bath."
