Lol, but I don't blame you.
My guess is that parents found out their kids have vitural smokes and think that will cause them to smoke for real.
Or it's an elaborate joke they set up.
Still, it's silly for them to just up and get rid of the smoking items.

Indeed. It's quite possibly the silliest thing I've encountered in a while... I can see where they'd be getting crap for having virtual smokes from parents... because parents are often overprotective... but yeah.
Pish. It was kinda a surprise tho. I'd have gotten all the crap if I knew it was going to get taken out.

I think I have cigs and the "smoker" pipe items somewhere.
But if they want to clean up their image, they're doing a horrible job at it because of all the people here and their taste. The shippers alone for canon couples are more offencive and more influencing then vitural tobacco products.

I have several... I just don't know where they are. And now they're soulbound, so if I didn't have it on one account, it's now stuck in the account I did have it in. D: Ah well.
Yeaaaah well. Really, maybe it's just a continuation of the long war they've had to make things "kid-friendly'... I think that one started about a year after I joined. XD;

Oi, all the kid friendly stuff is a bunch of bull anyways.
They're trying to take the child out of childhood and all the stuff they've done to "protect the children" are in fact hurting them worse.

Pish. My eleven year old sister has already had "the talk"... The kids in the classes below hers are all reading books with sexual content... The sad thing is, it's not like kids are growing up any faster, people are just becoming more aware of it...? u.u; Kids start experimenting with cigs and stuff at early ages. It's not going to stop them. Either they like it and they find a way to stay supplied or they learn they hate it. Whatever. XD They're just trying to quash the cig=danger/sexy outlook. I had a guy tell me today that to a guy, a girl who smokes is a bit slutty. o_O;

Yeah. Hehe, I remember reading a book this guy wrote after interviewing some vets of World War 2. He found out that guys back then where just as, um, "active" as the ones today. The only main different the old guy could tell was that they didn't brag like kids today lol.
And I think I might know why he said that. Other then the whole "smoking after sex" thing, it probably has something to do with the fact a woman is putting a long, cylinder shape object to her mouth.
Of course Freud's teachings could also applied to "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar."

XD Sometimes a cigar IS just a cigar.
I guess it's comforting to know that people never change...? Not really. Back in the old days the life span was shorter and that explains away the young maturity, but we don't have that excuse these days. XD
Huh... I actually read something a while back about how as we(as a race) get stupider we live longer... It was a scifi book I think. XD

Dart Fled "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." But sometimes... Ceci n'est pas une pipe stare Sorry couldn't help myself 4laugh Read an article in my Game Informer today where they were interviewing Penn Jillette about parents trying to protect children from virtual corruption. It was funny because he was talking about how parents will say, "I would never let my child do that in a video game." And yet these are adults who, when they were children, were dropping acid and going to see the Greatful Dead. He then goes on to say, "I mean, The Greatful Dead is provably sh---y music. It's impossible- it's theoretically impossible - to make a video game as bad as the Greatful Dead." I think it is funny, because most parents did all kinds of "bad" things in their childhood and yet seem to think that they need to protect their children against it.

That is interesting, and very true. Parents should practice what they preach.

Pish, I can't concentrate anyways.. @___@ I need food. D:
@Feline: It's stupid how people seem to think that their kids don't deserve to be able to make the same mistakes they did. >_> Not everything can be learned from other's experience. u.u
