So I just had the most ineresting Saturday night. My puppy got into a scuffle with some other dogs over a bone, and now has three puncture wounds, one on the back of her neck, left side of her face, and right back leg, and a two inch gash to the muscle(like you can see it if you move the skin)on her right hind leg.
Breaking up dog fights, rule #1, grab dog by back of neck...makes it very hard for dog to bite you. rule #2, get whatever it is causing the fight(in my case my puppy)ou of the situation.

So far so good, she isn't favoring it, and she is eating and drinking regularly. The whole thing started because another dog brought a bone, and she got too close. I will keep posting as the days go by. She did seem to sleep a ittle more today, but I think she was just resting after the shock of having her leg torn open. I Promise she is ok, she doesn't whine when we clean it, and we have special puppy wound antiseptic to keep extra bacterias out of it.

@AdmiralAdama- I'm glad your puppy is doing ok, I love animals, I have a dog and a puppy, myself.
I don't know why but a whole bunch of horrible stuff has happened this summer.
I'm actually sort of glad school has started...
