he shrugged, and headed up to where his room was. the door was fixed brand new, which was odd. he opened it and walked inside, to find that everything else was how he left it: stripped bare, broken pieces of portal scattered about. he kicked bits lightly with his foot as he made his way to the bed, then collapsed on it and closed his eyes. it had been a while since he'd slept on a bed, and he began to go over the events.
they had rescued Shan, but barely. they were caught and locked up in the dungeon, tortured, while Shan again was brought to her room, awaiting to be wed off to that monstrous vampire, Vincent. she'd managed to sneak away and free them again and they spent the time since on th erun from Vincent's minions, fighting them often. the latest battle ended in a firey explosion, but they managed to lose the enemy trail finally. Shan, Shandrel and Insain went to hide in Twi's mansion, while he headed back to the HQ to make amends and check up on Waffle, who he had heard was in the hospital.
as his reminiscence neared the present, he snapped back to reality and checked the clock to see how much time had passed. not much. he had to break that habit he had of spacing out. he sighed, sat up and lit a Black Clove.

Sabe noticed how Pen was just standing there, mildly shocked.
"Good morning. Waffle's parents and some of the other attendants came to visit."

"Oh really," Pen gave a nervous smile and inched her way around the group. "I glad to see all of you, Waffle is a good friend of mine and its nice to see the people important to her." Pen voice was strained an her movement rather jerky.
Great great great great, I meet entire new group people close to Waffle in my Pjs and not even brushed. My luck today...

with his cig finished, Twi walked back down again, smiling, visibly calmer than before. "ah, there you are Pen. nice bedhead." he said with a laugh.

The attendants, minus Diane and Sabe, all said 'hello' and 'thanks' back to her. Sabe didn't really see why Pen was acting so strangely. If he had the opportunity to share some of the crazy stories of what went on in Serole on a day-by-day basis, it would probably ease the tension in the room.

"Oh Thank you Twi I try," Pen sarcasm ran through like a pack of wild dogs. "Glad to see your back things were about to get a little calm."
She looked back at the group and nodded. "Please do excuse me but I need to run up to my room. Afterwards I will be more than willing to learn more about you all."

Twi was so glad that Pen wasn't thinking ill of him. this proved it, only Luc to worry about. and he'd be easy to deal with at this point. "catch you later then Pen. meanwhile, i think i'm going to get some food and go to bed. i'm exhausted." he did just that.

{Uh, all of the extra characters being thrown in are making my head spin, so I give up. I'll post again when things are a bit calmer.}
Silvina had planned on heading down after Pen, but the increase in volume a few minutes later made her rethink her decision. Silvina really disliked crowds, and from what she could infer, there were a good number of people down there. All horribly boisterous. Her least favorite kind of people.
It wasn't until a large group of people suddenly came out of Waffle's room and passed her without a glance to go to the lobby that Silivina had had enough. She was going to go into her room, lock her door, and read her book. And ******** Scotti, Luciano, Pen, or anyone else who even considered getting her to come out in such a loud circus show.
Quickly striding back to her room, Silvina shut her door and locked it, making her way to her bed and turning up the the volume of her classical music until it could be faintly heard through her door in the hallway. Satisfied that she couldn't hear the chaotic crowd downstairs, she snatched her forgotten book from where she'd left it last night and quickly focused on immersing herself in the gory madness of the tale unfolding in the novel.

Totoro looked up at Pen and smiled. "Okay. Cool."
He turned his attention back to Sabe.
"So...anyways...What'dya do while you were away, bud?"
"Oh, let's see...all sorts of things. Made some friends, dealt with Waffle getting ambushed by a militia, getting into some drama with the person you just talked to, heading into the base of the ambushers, and going after the people behind it and taking back what was ours. Oh, and getting stabbed in the chest by a maniac's right hand man."
"Wait....Waffle was shot..and you got stabbed?"
"Be quiet, I don't want either Master Colbur nor Koteki to overhear, and end up causing a lot of unneeded problems. People are already overwhelmed by us just being here."
"Well......I guess that could be true." Totoro said, looking back at Charlie, who hasn't been shouting random things at all for a while. "Weird that Charlie hasn't acted up in a while, isn't it?"
"Oh, only a matter of time, really..."

(ok, lets move it a long in a more orderly fashion)
Skotti was getting a headache from all the commotion so he took control of the situation.
"OK! everybody who just got here needs to get somewhere! Waffle take your family and Lucs cousins to the guest bedrooms, I will deal with you all later in a more orderly fashion! make yourselves at home and I will get to you all in due time! Twilight! I want to see you in my office" he said as he went of to the office.

Waffle heard Skotti's orders and carried them out.
"Everybody follow me!" she shouted. Everyone on the couch got up except for Sabe, and most of Luciano's cousins reluctantly followed. They all walked up the stairs and headed down the hall and stopped at two fairly large rooms for guests. Waffle directed the two families to their respective rooms, then headed back down the stairs.
The rooms themselves had 4 decently-sized bunkbeds each, so it was no problem for either family.
In the room that contained Waffle's family, the attendants were chatting as usual, while Colbur was lying on one of the lower bunks, and Koteki was right next to him.
"Well, this is interesting so far."
"Eh...We probably should've picked a different time to visit."
"Oh please, even if we did come over at a different time the results would have been the same!"
"Are you......complaining?"
"Me? No! I have other things on my mind.
"Like what? Don't tell me it's about them." Koteki said, referring to Serole's upper-class nobles.
"Well, what would you want me to be thinking about?!
"We came over here so we could visit our daughter and see how she's doing, all while keeping this OFF of your mind, not to have you here whining about a bunch of insecure knuckleheads who have nothing better to do than get on our nerves. Relax."

Pen took advantage of the small mingling after Skotti's orders and ran up to her room. Now that she was fully awake she now realized how extremely embarrassing it was to be in that situation.
When she was coming down the stairs to apparently to greeted by Luc's cousins she knew by their volume that she was going in under dress. Its not very embrassing to her if she planned to greet people like this. However Waffle's group came out of nowhere leaving her unprepared and wishing she stayed in the kitchen.
She got back to her room and slamed the door shut and then caught her breath. "You would think people would come to visit at a more decent hour," she muttered almost forgetting about her guest still sleeping in the lower bunk.
At least she can sleep

Skotti waited for twi to walk in, once he did, skotti shut the door and sat behind his desk. "So twilght... what brings you back to the ops? as I remember you had a pretty big problem with us." he said, putting on his silent night shirt and sliding his wed to darkness jacket on. "Also, surely you will know that Luc might not want you around these parts, what do you plan to do about him?" he said as he put on his belted pants.
