Because Im bored and thought it would be funny to do, I going to say my Top 10 Monsters in Videogames
10.Ganondorf: Technically he is a monster. In every LOZ game, he comes back in a new form. He is either a pig sorcerer, a hulking beast(Ocarina of time) or as you see in his Final Smash, a giant boar monster. Plus, how many games can you honestly that you fought a pig?
9. Deviljho (From Monster Hunter Tri) This thing is ridiculous! He always appears at the times you dont want him, and he is incredibly persistent. Also, when he gets mad, his muscles swell up showing all the scars he has.Thats basically telling you "Others have tried and died. And so will you"
8. The Regenerators (From Resident Evil 4) I hate these things. When I first saw them, I was terrified. As their name says, they can regenerate any part of their body, including the head. Also, even if you are far from them, they can still reach out with their arms and grab you. No matter what you do, they will walk, crawl or jump towards you. Thankfully they are not invincible, but damn.
7.Verdugo (From Resident Evil 4) You ever had that funny feeling that you were being watched? Well, this is the thing watching you. This thing is persistent and very scary. Every minute, you have dodge his tail attacks and he sometimes runs towards you.Also, all your bullets do nothing unless you freeze him first. But the worse thing about him, is the fact that you get locked in a room with him. That is not fair!
6. The Witch (From Left 4 Dead) There is only word that can describe this monster. "B.i.t.c.h."
5 The Dahaka (From Prince of Persia Warrior Within)This is the coolest monster in my opinion. He chases you through the entire game and he looks menacing. Every time he comes for you, "I Stand Alone" by Godsmack plays. The only thing you can think of is "RUN!" Did I mention he is incredibly cool! Just making sure^_^
4. Giygas (From EarthBound) I know he doesn't really do anything scary. Besides his looks, hes not actually terrifying But the real thing thats scary is his origin. Shigesato Itoi has stated that his inspiration for Giygas' speech in EarthBound came from a traumatic childhood experience where he accidentally walked into an adult movie theater and caught a glimpse of a rape scene in the 1957 film "The Military Policeman and the Dismembered Beauty". Plus, think about in my way. You play Earthbound, its fun and the characters and environments are kiddish. Would you ever expect that the final boss is a swirling vortex of pain and misery? I didn't think so!
3. Mother Brain: The music that plays during her fight is awesome. Also, she shoots you with a powerful beam and nearly kills you. But thankfully you acquire the beam and destroy her for good. She is one of the first video game monsters I was terrified of. Screw you Mother Brain!
2. Chaos (From Sonic Adventure) I love this monster. Every time he absorbs a chaos emerald, he transforms. His transformations are a hulking form, a shark form, a mutated Giant scorpion and finally the skyscraper sized Perfect Chaos. Also, Perfect Chaos has a striking resemblance to Biollante from the Godzilla franchise. Also the final battle is epic!
1.......Ridley (Every damn Metroid game) I think he deserves to be number one. In every Metroid game, he come backs bigger and better than ever. He comes as Ridley, MetaRidley, Ridley X MetalRidley and so on. This is the most persistent boss character beside Sigma from Megaman X. But Ridley is far more cooler.
