I don't wanna be worshiped. The more worshiped a person is, the harder they fall and the more they let down in the end of things. Not to mention there dying and the furthering of pain to follow that event. Being widely known and loved only creates unwanted chain reactions.
Also, worshiped people can't eat nachos due to publicity.
