Hello! Earth to Chris! Squall is angsty. It's not like that's a lie or anything.
Jess, however, believes that angsty is stupid. While I generally would agree with such a statement, I believe it works for Squall.
I mean, if he was happy go lucky, it wouldn't have been the same.
Take FFX-2 for example. Yuna Rikku and Paine(don't let her gothy exterior fool you) are all happy. Too happy. That game sickens me, if I play for too long.

Sidesteps the glomp. If you haven't noticed, is going to be a pre-Rinoa Squall for quite a while. The question of "What would Squall have become without Rinoa?" may end up being answered.
