It was fun. ^.^
I took a cool Panorama shot, only the copter was moving too fast, until they kind of banked upwards? Anyway we slowed right down and I got a really cool shot.

IT was pretty sweet. Ya gotta keep your eye on the horizon though. You move so fast you can get pretty nauseated if you just watch the trees whoosh by through your camera. Lol

I hope I get to ride more of them. I can become a flight nurse, but not for a while yet, you need so much clinical time.

No its not that. You literally need to build up hundreds of hours to qualify for the training. I'm not even set up to go start gaining hours till I get moved into where I'm going.

cause you need to train on certain floors they want you to have experience in. Like. Critical care and pediatrics. So when you go on deployment, you can ACTUALLY do your nursing skills, instead of just the paperwork you're used to.
Its the maintenance of clinical readiness program!

Yeah we have General Duty Nursing O's which is what I am currently,
and then you can go Critical Care Nurse
Flight nurse
Surgical nurse
or Mental Health.

Yeah. Only as a nursing O, I can only go so high in the hierarchy. We kind of cap out at Major. There's like 2 LCol positions but they get annoying.
