"I'm not looking for a war. I'm looking to make Requias more of a thorn in the side of Damios then just an annoyance. and giving Requias the means to do a little raiding of thier own in retaliation seems to fit nicely. they may not go to war, but they probably won't be so easily pushed around. I went to Requias...they are resentful, willing to fight back...but they lack the means to. and they know it. I'm only looking to give them support enough so that when Damios throws a punch, they'll get one back."
glancing at the brigade master.
"their new bodies are powerful, sturdy...they'll be able to go toe to toe with at least two or three of their Damios opposition without too much issue. I'm done a bit of tampering, and have the means to shut them down as well. so they can't turn on the hands the feed them, so to speak. Not looking to spark a war, but looking to make Damios turn it's attention more to Requias then to the Inthara's houe collapse."

"You say you're not looking for it and yet you put the means for it right into the hands of those who are too idealistic in the wrong direction." It was a delicate balance being maintained in a way. The more surface like free thinking Obsidians that stayed in Requias and the Cafellian bound Obsidians in Daimos. "And what of those born in Requias who harbor none of those feelings?" They would be caught up in bullies shoving each other on the playground. Not to mention, when one place got a taste of being the bully...well he was afraid that Lucana would fall into the mix, in fact it was practically unavoidable. "It's not about them being able to fight back."
"Do you know, how many Houses a year go under down there? When the power struggles become too great amongst themselves they turn on each other at first opportunity. It's less of a who is truly more powerful and more about getting the last word in." Leaning back in his chair lightly. "Raids are impossible on Daimos...to get to Vrist, one has to go through the Outpost. Other than that, there's nothing topside and it would be stupid for them to try to raid the Outpost itself. I'd have nothing but bicking on my hands."
Shaking his head lightly, "Vrist raids Requias, so they boldly raid Vrist. Mahlari declares against them in protection of her own people and they get punished. Kieran upset with such retaliation will speak on behalf of Requias. If Requias feels then threatened by Kieran by his overprotection of them, they then turn on Farhian." It was a mess he did not want. "I don't want to give anyone means to poke and prod at each other. Much contrary to your belief, if we catch Obsidians...on either side...causing trouble with one another in such manners they are indeed punished. I won't let them have sticks with which to hit one another with. Protection? Of course they're allowed that. Offense is not always defense."

"I know very well the workings of the Bosidian culture, as I was a part of the same culture for most of my life. my concern is this. you know and I know that with the revelation of Sevilin being a Master Rune Mage, Mahlari is taking a particular interest it what happens to that House. she'll not risk another Sevilin. and I do know what happened as far as why the eldest sister wasn't there to keep order. which means that Mahlari is going to suspect either Sevilin is alive, or that one of his children is strong enough to take out the eldest sister. Either way, I have Khavier, or someone like him, sniffing around."
leaning back some.
"As much as I would like her chaindog to suffer for his lies at sevilin's death, I don't want a repeat of the incidents that sent him here. I don't want Obsidians threatening blackmail or prodding at my house. I want to keep Mahlari's mind somewhere besides the Inthara house until the ashes settle and there's nothing but someone fighting for it's place."

"Save with that mark on Sevilin's face, and Khaiver's own use of such that there should be no worry. Yes, I am privy to all that has happened. I'm frankly not afraid to walk down into Vrist and figure what's going on. There are two of those women left. The middle girls who were born within a year of each other." Steepling his fingers again as he leaned on his elbows on the table. "If she thinks one of the children he fathered is causing the mess, that individual isn't even counted as an Inthara. Blame falls to another House." A light sigh, "Good as your intentions are Malik, it only takes but one over zealous fool to make a mess." Trying to think of a way to make everyone happy here, "If it makes you feel better, I can simply restrict all access to this plane that isn't verified by you."

"You're moving to Andal?" But her attention was caught by the ring...which was naturally received with a great deal of excitement. It was a well known fact that Zahara loved amber. She'd be showing it to her husband and getting his approval as well. Just a formality, Sevilin knew where her heart was. The wooden toy set was also quite a gift, her fingers tracing over it lovingly before it was set on the bedside table. "He'll love it. That was very kind of you to think of everyone here, Galesen." Her eyes closed slightly and she chewed on her lip as he showed concern. "I will be. It's just going to take some time. I found out I was pregnant shortly after you left....but I lost it."

"and that's more paperwork for both of us. I'd rather not have to jump through loopholes with every single trade shipment or deal I make, and I doubt you want to deal with it either. Alright...I want to keep her focused off the Inthara incidents, and you don't want me maiming anyone or the like to do it."
drumming his fingers.
"I'll give up on this little project of mine then. But you and I both know that Mahlari suspects Sevilin is alive. keep Khavier out of my realm, and we'll call it even for now."

"I'll personally monitor things that have to deal with the coordinates for this plane. No worries Malik, things will be just fine." Thusly turning his attention to Sevilin. "No worries, Master Inthara...I won't be staying long enough to hassel you into oblivion, I merely came to deliver that and experience some of Malik's acclaimed hospitality."

"Yes, I have my reasons Zahara, but that doesn't mean I'll forget you guys. I'll come by and visit you when I can." A small smile though when he saw her reaction to the ring, he knew she would be happy to receive it, everyone here knew how amber was her weakness and it did not hurt to actually give her some. "I'm glad that he will, he'll probably play with them till they fall apart." A small chuckle to that before he gave a small nod. "Well that's just the way I am." Though he blinked when he saw those violet eyes closed and she did that lip nibble which he came to know that it meant something was wrong, and when she told him exactly what happened Galesen was speechless. "Oh Zahara..." He slowly reached out to her and held her hand. "I'm so sorry, I know you care for your children very much. I wish I was here, maybe I could of done something to help." Even though he never had children Galesen still felt bad for Zahara, it wasn't fair for her. But if she ever need him to be there, then he would be.

Insert Massive Wormhole For Our Enjoyment: 14 years later... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Going out with Kaelin tonight?” He rolled his eyes as he was making sure his appearance was just right in the mirror, silvery eyes idly watching his brother that was perched behind him in a chair bothering him for his own amusement. Clasping his cloak around his shoulder with an ornate clasp he addressed his younger brother, “We’re going to Zykariel’s race.” “On a date.” “We’re just friends, we don’t date. She likes to go to them and I have to go as his manager. You know, like when you go out with your friends.” “I don’t go out much.” Which was a fact but he was at the same time a highly social creature. A grin though, indeed looking to annoy his brother. “You’re alone with a girl, it’s a date.” Walking over to his brother, he cuffed him in the back of the head. “Would you stop causing trouble? Don’t make me teach you a lesson.” Dhairiss rubbed at the back of his head before he stood up in his chair to stand taller than his brother and stared him down a moment, before snatching his bandanna off his head and jumping off the chair, running. He didn’t get very far before his brother tackled him and they both rolled to the floor, his brother putting him in an affectionate headlock as he sat on him and Dhairiss more or less just laughed and refused to give up the piece of cloth. Both boys had grown up quite considerably in the fast fourteen years. Malikhai now older but still retained a bit of that boyish air about him despite how his focus was more on his own business ventures among other things…such as Kaelin of late. His studious manner still seemed to get the better of him at times as he had completed what the public schooling had to offer him but still continued on his own things at home. Whether he was learning them from his mother, father, or from old books or well versed teachers. Dhairiss, now a teenager himself where his brother was more or less an adult to the eyes and standards that Labyrinthian elves held their own to, had taken Malikhai’s place in the school system as local D’vinn. Unlike his brother though, aside from the rude comments on his looks that he let roll off like water on a duck’s back, he was quite the well loved social butterfly…and yet at the same time he sharply contrasted himself as he had a streak of laziness about him when he wasn’t being hyper or doing his own kind of studies at home. He was happier to laze out in the little surface gazebo they had rather than pursue adventure and such. But at this age he did fair better with girls than his brother had, though they often considered him cute above all other things. "Daaaaaad!" Calling for help, despite how he didn't needit and how he was laughing still. Giving a giggle, she nuzzled a heated cheek against his temple before nipping at the tip of his ear, nibbling lightly as she wrapped her arms around his neck, standing behind him as he was seated in front of her at the dining room table as they had finished up lunch. “Work can wait. You don’t have to go right back to it.”
Piper thought she may drive herself mad. She had been flushed and giggly constantly for the last six months, running on to the seventh. And more or less constantly stalking Malik whenever she got the chance to. She didn’t know if she was enjoying it all or not…after all, the hot and giggle factors got annoying but at the same time it could be quite fun. Save perhaps when she was feeling particularly needy and managed to bed him a few times a day…cut down on the house productivity in general. That aside, the last fourteen years had in her opinion been particularly wolves to blood free and she was enjoying every moment of it. Their boys were growing up nicely and she was quite content with where their life stood in there own little piece of underdark. Her own little hobbies changed a bit, seeing as since Zahara decided to teach, Zykariel had taken her place in horse business related tneed ithings. Which had been going great for Piper, especially the last four years.Like always, Sevilin was stoic as ever…but not unchanged, save for his runics were indeed now unrivaled in his knowledge. A few years of peace from demons, no fear of his home coming to haunt him – mostly because there was no one left to do so – did well for him. He was more mellow, less troubled….though no less crazy but that was kept under control in his mind as well. Still routine bound though as he did his things at Twilight and then would spend however much time there, then head home to tend to kids and whatever needed done at home until Zahara came home. What with her taking that job and getting out of the house more, she often came home with the kids that still were in school and then she liked to steal the house from him.Kithaan was slowly finishing up lunch, sitting next to his mother. He had picked the crust off his sandwich, only to eat said sandwich and was now picking up pieces of crust and eating those, when before he had refused to eat them together. He hadn’t been feeling well today really, though he had felt fine when he left with his mother this morning he had just sort of started to feel ickier as the day progressed. Reaching to his juice, he drank it slowly as well till it was gone. "I'm done mama."
This was the fifth child of Sevilin and Zahara, only nine years old at this point and quite the contrast to both of his older brothers. Where they were loud and such he was on the quiet side and easily pleased with simple things. He bore a striking resemblance to his father in a way, red eyes, but he had the softer features of his mother and her bone white hair rather than the silvery tint his father’s had.Mykorian had ended up staying at Twilight under the tutelage of Malik and whomever was his assigned teacher. He'd grown up himself, out of that awkward half and half blooded elf with confidence issues into one young elf whom thought he was a badass but anyone who knew him knew that it was more act than anything else. He'd made himself quite useful to Malik in his own way and that kept him with room and board. To him, life was good.

Malik's brain went to much for a second, before tilting his head back to his wife. He was in fact a bit concerned. seven months now, flushed and giggly...though all were pretty sure that she would not be able to bear anymore children.
The D'vinn empire was almost the dominant force in this underdark...and Malik had several officials under his domain. he was the lord of the lands, but had high ranking officials looking out over the expanses he himself couldn't directly command. Malikhai had a hand in that, as did Sevilin.
He was more concerned that even from Kieran he'd never heard of an elf being flushed this long. but he gave her a grin all the same.
"I suppose not...but what if I didn't want to move from here?"
A chuckles at her.

She let up on his ear a moment as their younger son whined out in that 'my brother is playing with me' voice. Indeed, being flushed and giggly also meant she vyed for his attention just as their children did. It was all a matter of who was playing and who wasn't. Seemed like she was going to win this time and that suited her just fine...but he wanted to mess with her back. "We've always been friendly with the table." Besides, Khai was leaving soon and Dhairiss would most likely wander around outside. Another n** at him, "Come on...I haven't worn you out have I?" Despite her odd nature induced behavior, she was trying to be concerned about him too. After all, she scratched and no, the world did not stop for her needy self and she would be no worse off if she didn't get what her body suggested.
"Oh ew, yuck. Come on...don't do that. Especially at the table. Or even think about it on the table." Shaking his head at his parents. He had gotten away from his brother apparently, only for Malikhai to grab him again as he caught up once more and yanked his own bandana from Dhairiss fingers and he held up his hands in surrender. "Fine, you win. Go out on your date."
And Dhairiss got cuffed again. "Not a date." He said it more to remind himself actually than to defend against his brother's thoughts. Though he barely flinched at his parents. It wasn't the first time his mother had been like that, he assumed it wasn't the last. In a way it was funny. "Be home late, you know when Zykariel wins there's the obligatory party."

"Hardly. I'm surprised you have a voice left."
though a smirk at his youngest son.
"Dhairiss, if you knew half the places..."
Before getting that look from his wife, and shutting his mouth.
"And what are your plans, Dhairiss? since Malikhai is going out, going to spend your time in the solarium?"
Fourteen years. fourteen long years. Cerrilia and her warriro companion were the last two left....thier wizardess friend had met an...unfortunate accident...when she'd tried to learn the secrets that Zykariel's book could teach. But Cerrilia would master it...master everything. and look at that...the boy had even written in something about basic runes. That could prove quite useful. her warrior friend was still seeking to find a way to face D'vinn, now that he'd returned. several tournaments had come and gone, and he'd been unable to compete. they hadn't teh funds to afford it. But this year they might. Cerrilia was teaching illusions in Vesendar, and had taken to giving Zykariel an....interesting time. and her sales from Neriak were giving her little money...most of it somehow getting 'lost' in transit when requested. she'd deal with that later as well.
But now, she was consumed with learning everything this book coudl teach.

"I'm surprised you can wear clothes." Piper only smirked to their boys though. "You were concieved on this table." Or at least she was pretty sure he was. But one of those slightly irritated in defeat sighs of hers and she rested her chin on Malik's shoulder for the time being followed promptly of course by a giggle. Flushed and giggly was not easy in any aspect, especially for this long a stretch of time. But yes, didn't need the kids knowing all of the fun their parents had together and that included places. Moving her eyes to the more or less carbon copy of Malik, save a few inches still yet. "Just don't get so drunk you can't remember your name."
"On a date."
"Do you have a compulsive need to add on to sentences to make them inaccurate?"
"Maybe." Irritating his brother was one of his favorite past time. But they were close and his older brother knew it was in play even if he was truly irritated. Another wrinkle of his nose at his parent's words though. "I really didn't need to know that either." Crossing his arms behind his head and giving a light shrug to his father. "I dunno, probably. Unless Kelligrin has a suggestion, but you know him." Getting a smile that spoke of nothing and everything then as he seemed to switch to a higer level mood. "And yes, I already did my homework and all that stuff so I can indeed play as much as I want. Maybe practice my archery some."

"You and your mother's love of bows."
Smirking lightly before, turning his head to flick his tongue agaisnt her ear this time, and back to his youngest son.
"Both you and Kelligrin need to be more careful in your activities. I am not going to keep those trees in there if you both are going to try and chase eachother through them like your a pair of monkeys or something."

A shrug, "We both like projectiles?" Which he supposed was true. Rolling his eyes at his parents again...if he was more disturbed he would have long learned to walk away like his older brother. But frankly, those two were always affectionate like that...just weirdly more so in the last several months. "Aw, don't worry dad. Besides you...safeguarded...against that." In his own way he supposed because they all knew when his mother got a chance, she was keen to sit in a tree higher than needed. A turn to his brother, flinging out his arms. "Do I get a hug? Come on, you're not to old to hug me." And back to messing with his brother.
Whom hooked an arm around his neck and pulled him over, giving him a squeeze. "Happy? Good." And letting him go. Sometimes he thought something was off with his brother...but that's just the way Dhairiss was int eh grand scheme. Mostly hyper with a fluffy side that most people found adorable. And yet...upset the kid and look out. Yes, he was indulgent of his little brother to. "And stop gallavanting more toward the boundaries, I don't like seeing your name in my reports I have to hand over to dad."
"Aw you weren't supposed to say anything!" Pouting like a toddler a moment before his brother screwed up his hair.
"He was going to find out anyway. Or Sevilin was going to tell him too." Thusly turning a look to his parents once more. "No worries dad, he doesn't cause trouble. They're just making note that he's out there. Today's reports are on your desk, I'll see you all later." Thusly turning on his boot heel and heading out the the rebuilt stables, fetching Jerick. "Come on, we need to go get Kaelin."
Which got him a giggle and a nuzzle as he played into nature's hand. "You take away my trees and I'll destroy your study." Followed by another, probably inappropriate, giggle to punctuate the statement. By all elven Gods she loved that solarium. She still remembered when he gave it to her...best present she had every gotten in her entire life she was pretty sure and all because he had never wanted to take the surface away from her. Squealed indeed, and it had done her some good, apparently health included that she often ignored as general stress lag from her. Dhairiss had been all to pleased, as he had gotten to keep his butterflies. Malik made out like a bandit from an unguarded vault.
