Samantha glanced at his hand before reaching out and taking it. She gripped
them tightly as she stepped closer to him, expecting him to pull her towards
the shore in all honesty. Alice was still on the ice and she blinked back to her,
uncertainty gleaming in her eyes.
"Kyle- Alice..." She blinked up at him.

Kyle: Don't worry about it so much~. ; D I think you look amazing like this~! ))
As he was about to take off, Samantha looked up at him and stated the dolls name, eliciting a sigh from the sandy haired man. "Alright, just hang on..." That was all the warning she got before Kyle ran across the ice, going significantly slower than he would on solid ground since he needed to be more cautious, but still fast enough to be fun for a child. Once he got near the doll he came to an abrupt halt on running and just slid, crouching and scooping up the doll easily. "Haha, how was that?!" he looked back at her, a large grin on his face. He slowed to a stop once they got closer to the other skaters and held Alice out to her, "Think you can hold on to her, too?"

Samantha let out a yelp of surprise as he took off, grasping his hand with both
of her little ones, and watching the ice beneath her fly by. As Kyle Slid and
grabbed Alice, she watched in aw, sliding with him. As they came to a halt,
Samantha looked up at the man, hair frizzed from the wind. Her expression
didn't really seem to change but her eyes seemed to be more lifelike.
"Kyle..? C-can you do that again, Please?" She spoke slowly and softly.
She took Alice, holding the doll close to her and burying her face in the hair.

Welp, he's got Kyle. D: ))
"Haha, sure thing, kid!" Kyle exclaimed with a large smile, noting that her expression seemed less blank than it had been before. He was quick to give up the doll to the girl, and allowed her a few second to brace herself before he started up again, making sure to hang on tight now that Samantha had to hold on to Alice as well. Running around the outside of the lake, Kyle would continue to run as fast as the ice would allow, sliding here and there as well as taking sharp turns that could possibly give the small girl whiplash in an attempt to switch things up. "How's that for ya?" he panted, hoping that she was having fun.

Throughout the little ride he was giving the little girl, he noted hearing sounds.
Once he stopped to look back at her, he noticed her shoulders hunched and
twitching a bit. It couldn't have been sobs...
Could it? Did the whiplash hurt her in anyway?
Finally the girl tilted her head back, a genuine smile embracing her expression
and a child's laugh soon escaped her lips. "Kyle- Kyle, that was fun!"

Kyle had been about to slow down in order to check on the small girl, already worrying about the scolding he would get on top of everything else that had happened today if he took her back to the infirmary, when she looked up and actually... smiled? He slowed to a stop, eyes blinking in pure disbelief as he heard her laugh as well.
Once he realized that he'd finally gotten her to change her blank expression, a huge grin broke out on his face, and he easily returned her smile. "Is was, wasn't it?! And we can still go around the lake for another lap before we go back. How does that sound?" he asked, somewhat worried that her expression would go back to normal before they were even done.

With her light expression she nodded a bit. "C-Could you please? One more time."
She buried her face once more in Alice's hair, eyes beaming a bit. This is
exactly what her parents didn't want her doing... and yet... it felt nice.
