Andou smirked as Masanori walked up to the line. He believed that students needed to be tested eventually... or preferably most of the time. Settling down in his position he watched as Masanori made a throw, a completely average one, but the kunai... flew straight to the target. A fluke shot...
"Good job," he said to Masanori. "Can you repeat that, though? After all... the most important aspect of true strength is consistency."
{+3 to Masanori's next roll... egging him on? I dunno XD}

"... This guy knows I suck, he must know." he tried his best to hide his glare, but none the less he walked to the target to retrive the kunai he had thrown just a few secounds ago. "Come on, another bull's eye. Just do the same freaking thing" he walked to the mark where he were to throw, grinded his right foot into the ground to get some kind of feeling of the earth. "Okay.. So.. Stretch the arm backwards" he reached his arm backwards over his shoulder like he did the last time. "And.. Just.. Throw" he let the kunai fly through the air with his gaze following it's every turbulence to the end when it reached the target. In the mid-sequence of throw, the kunai had taken a drastic lean to the right, leaning all the way and in a very brief moment it looked like it were to pass by the target, which it later turned out - it did. "Aah crap.."

Andou watched as Masanori attempted it again. Now that he was clean and dressed nicely and not covered in rubbish Andou could see that Masanori was really quite good looking, in the boyish polite boy kind of way. His stance reflected that as well which was of course a bad thing...
"As you may have noticed you were off balance just a bit," Andou commented. "I think you put too much force onto your right foot. Your stance in the beginning is decent. Just try not to go off balance too much and make sure to let go of the kunai at the moment the blade is pointing at the target." Andou gestured at the target. "Why don't you try again."

"Thank you, Andou-sensei!" he said with a bow that only involved his chest lowering a couple of centimeters. "Hrm.. This guy.. I wonder if he is any good of a ninja" He went back to his kunai with steady steps, thinking of what the sensei had said. He was a proud man who did not take his failures and misstakes easily but he wasn't dumb enough to ignore advice and help. And with that, he yanked the kunai out of the tree target with both of his hands. Later on, he took his stance and this time tried to make the weight of his, equal, in both his legs and feet. "Right.. Let go when the kunai is about to be straight" he stretched back and let the arm follow downwards together with the kunai and at his level, he could almost only guess when the tip was facing forward. So he guessed, and his guess was fairly accurate. Much better than his last attempt.

Shinzu walked over to the kunai after watching the other boy throw some, carefully watching his technique and listening to what Andou had said. He got into his stance, his hand hovering over the holster he kept on his right thigh, he'd practiced taking things out of it before mainly because he was bored, but this would be the first time he'd take something out and throw it.

He watched as the first kunai landed on the edge of the outermost ring. "Darn. Well it was my first throw with one of these." He said with a smirk on his face as he reloaded his holster and got ready to throw another one. He imagined what he was going to do in his mind so he'd be less likely to mess up.
Throw Kunai 4 + 1 = 5 2 points 2/10 1-4: outside the rings. {0 points} 5-9: outermost ring. {1 point} 10-14: 2nd ring. {2 points} 15-19: 3rd ring. {3 points} 20+: bulls eye. {4 points}
Shinzu watched as the kunai hit the innermost edge of the of the outermost ring. He gave a loud sigh "I'm sure I'll get it next time." He said with a smile still on his face, hey he was pretty upbeat person after all. He thought about what happened before preparing himself again,
Throw Kunai 8 + 1 = 9 3 points 3/10 1-4: outside the rings. {0 points} 5-9: outermost ring. {1 point} 10-14: 2nd ring. {2 points} 15-19: 3rd ring. {3 points} 20+: bulls eye. {4 points}

wahmbulance TIME PARADOX wahmbulance Remember way back when Shin was doing the chakra control exercise as a part of aiding his peer learn the nawanuke no jutsu? He had got to a pretty high level of chakra control difficult, having increased the level of the test with each completion until he'd done the exercise five times. Well although it may have seemed that he only did the exercise five times, Shin had actually done it six. Being the overachiever he was, he not only changed the parameters of the exercise but also went for that extra repetition. But he wasn't doing himself any favors, for it was always those that wanted to show off that ended up embarrassing themselves. As Shin did now, failing so horribly at the exercise that his cheeks turned as red as his malformed chakra. Quote: Chakra Control DC: 16, Roll = 8 Fail...., Cp: 10 - 2 = 8

Yet after making a fool of himself so many times, Shin was growing used to laughter and the cat calls that came with failing so miserably. And as such he was able to pick himself back up almost instantaneously and continue on with his work as if nothing happened. He simply applied more time and effort to the exercise, taking his time to form the necessary motions. Handsigns blossomed in due course instead of being raced through like the last piece of chicken at a barbecue. Chakra was drawn upon and molded slowly but surely, such that it flowed through the handsign like water through a pitcher. It was then carefully and delicately crafted into a in depth shape, that a small sparrow taking flight. And then as thoughtfully as it was born, the image was retreated back from whence it came. 19d20-2= 17. Success. DC: 8. 3/10 "Why the f*ck is that gy talking to himself?" his mind had been constantly annoyed by the boy's pepptalk, when Masanori was trying to get into posistion over and over again, after claiming his kunai from the target. "If that guy don't stop I.. Well I can't do anything really.." he figured out that the only way for the guy to shut his mouth were to beat him so badly at this thorwing exercise that he'll shut up due to loss of selfasteam. "Equal out the weight in the feet, extend the arm.. Annnd" he threw the kunai and his technique seemed to have improved some. This was a major breakthrough in his ordinary lifestyle. "I might actually be able to handle a weapon.. Interesting.." his mind began to drift of on how to use his charisma with weapons.
5-2= 3.Failure. 3/10 DC: 8. Now he had become more enthusiastic about the trainin process so he actually began to skip away back and forth when collecting the kunai, he felt as if this was something he could actually enjoy learning. But at the moment his skill was less than good and it all was about luck and getting used to the weight of the weapon and the actual motion of throwing. "Hrm.. For the terms of helping in my talking siutations, I would assume that it would enhance intimidation moments but.. Maybe a set of skillful tricks will help with my performance and flirting". The thoughts concercning his future ninjahood, had distrupted his focus and his kunai flew passed the target. "Ah..."
15-2= 13. Success. 4/10 DC: 8. "Dum-di-di-dum" his movements and breath had become more relaxed, and he could feel that his tension in his body had loosend as well when he stepped up to the throwing range. There was something about Andou that intimidated him, as if he had some kind of secret that only he knew about Masanori. But, if he had something on him. His talking would set him free of all charges, of course. "And.. Hyaa!" he shouted in his head while only letting out a small grunt when stretching out the arm, throwing the metall object of death. Hitting the other rims of the target. "Hrm.."

19d20-2= 17. Success. 2nd ring. 5/10 DC: 8. He wanted to try something new, doing one thing over and over until you succed is one way to do it. But variating during the way isn't that bad, sooner or later he would have to throw a kunai, for example, horizontale instead of a downward vertical throw. So, he lined himself up with the target with his side and held with his right arm across his stomach to it was on laying on the leftside of his ribcage. Then he focused and extended the arm sideways, exatly the way he did with the vertical throw but letting the elbow control the motion first. The kunai got stuck with a loud "chuck" noise once again, actually the best one since his bull's eye.
10d20-2= 8. Success. Outermost ring. 6/10 DC: 8. "Now.." he pulled the kunai out of the wood. "I am gonna do it from running.." he took a few steps behind the target, and lined up sideways as he did before. Firstly, he tried a few times to just walk into the mark that his feet as made from the many times he had stood on that special posistion. Then he started to walk in and extend in his arm but not letting go of the kunai, this was all to build up for the throw. "Now" he thought that he was ready and skipped into te mark to then let go and extend. He felt that his entire body turned actually together with the throw and ended up with a 90 degree turn when he landed. The kunai hit the target, but very, very close to the nothingness.
8d20-2= 6. Outside of rings. 6/10 DC: 8 Now, his idea was to run but into a vertical throw like he usually did. He stood behind the appropiate throwing distance and jumped into the mark, letting down one foot after the other to then throw his arm down in an very fierce force, letting go of the deadly object. Buuuut, it didn't even reach the target, it hit the treetrunk infront of it. "Damn.. Once again, can't try one thing once."

13d20-2= 11. Outermost ring. 7/10. DC: 8 He took, again, a few extra steps backwards to then jump in and throw the kunai. It worked, it whistled through the air and Masanori had a hard time following it's moments, but he was satesfied when he saw the targetboard move due to the force of the kunai when it struck it. "Great.. Now.. Something new.. Something new.."
5d20-2= 3. Outside of rings. 7/10 DC: 8 He had tried vertical and horizontale throw. Also tried both techniques by adding speed, but what he hadn't done yet is work with levels. He figured that some day, if he chooses to continue with the kunai as his primary weapon, he'd be forced to jump down from a building to strike someone at an higher level then himself or jump down towards another. He also had a probability in mind that he needed to throw from a crouched down posistion, it could help by suprising someone when sitting for example in a bar. Or behind a bush lurking on enemies. "Okay.. Crouched down first.." he moved a little closer to the target but still proving a challenge to throw it, since he hadn't as much space to throw a kunai on. He threw it, and failed misserably.
15d20-2= 13. Outermost ring. 8/10 DC: 8 "Eh.. Once more" he walked to bend over and pick up the kunai that had got stuck into the ground beside the target. Then walked back and bent his legs to such an exent that he was crouching once again. "Aaaaaand... THORW!" He used much more force now, but it was still complicated due to the minimized room he had. But it hit, and he was satesfied enough to move to higher leveld attacks.

7d20-2= 5. Outside rings. 8/10 DC: 8 "Just got to hit the board once and then I am done with kunai training.. For now.. This is defiently something that I can try more often" he did a few try jumps by rushing towards the target, jumping into the air and extending his arm. He needed to stay a few feet closer to the target for the kunai to reach, he figured that the many physical movements would distrupt his focus so fierecly that he'd needed the extra feet. Eventually, he was done trying and actually performed the move, he jumped up and threw the kunai. But being so new to the many diffrent levels of moving, the kunai flew passed the target and into a tree.

13d20-2= 11. Outermost ring. 9/10. Finished. DC: 8 "Soo.. Rush in.. Jump.. Extend your bent arm and then celebrate" he took a few deep breaths before running towards the target, taking a some extra steps through the appropiate throwing distance, jumped and exteneded. All in a swift motion. The kunai threw in a downward diagonal direction and hit the target in a matter of secounds before he let it go from his firm grip.

12d20-2= 10. Outermost rings. DC: 8. 10/10. Finished. He grabbed the kunai, this was his final throw since he had grown alittle bored. He stood in a regular stance throwing in a vertical angle, he did the same thing as he did the many times before he started to mix with the angles. The kunai hit eventually. After the kunai had hit, hewent back to Andou-sensei. "Thank you, I think I am done with kunai training for today." he made a humble bow before walking away, fixing his bangs and clothing to be in a nice, tidy manner.
