Currently in SL helping a guy with the ultimate fireplace or something. He's always wanting to add more crap to it and stuff, and I'm always the one that makes it work, etc.
It's funny because I'm a practically a master builder but only amateur scripter, but I've made the main thing he's wanting work inside of like 2 hours what he said would've taken him weeks, etc.
My only gripe about it: There's no nukes or doomsday devices involved. I don't get to blow the crap outta stuff with it. It's a fireplace.

I'm currently house-sitting for the week, and thus am accessing the 'net from another comp.
Good news: I am not photobucket-blind as I normally am. ^_^;;
Bad news: Gaia loads at the speed of molasses on this comp. gonk

Celestia Whitesword I'm currently house-sitting for the week, and thus am accessing the 'net from another comp. Good news: I am not photobucket-blind as I normally am. ^_^;; Bad news: Gaia loads at the speed of molasses on this comp. gonk Yeah, my desktop doesn't load Gaia anymore. Or any forum website for that matter. That's one reason I bought myself a laptop when I started college. I also needed the portability and compactness of it.

I'm making a briefcase with a locking mechanism so that the group can decide whether or not random strangers can use the thing at any given time.
Right now it looks like it's got diamonds, papers, and a glow ball in it. Each of them does something when clicked, and when it's locked, all scripts are disabled other than the group-only locking script. When unlocked, they'll all respond again.

It seems putting firefox on this here comp more or less cleared up the problem. 3nodding Still, I have to say that this comp's not as efficient as the one at home. @_@

As I told you on MSN, I scored some nifty sci-fi stuff for my dvd arsenal and things. 3nodding Those being the Black Hole, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Star Trek: Generations. Also thinking of going back tomorrow to pick up this big set of about 100 sci-fi b-movies for about 30 something bucks. ^^

That sounds like really good times. ^_^ I'm hoping they'll still have that 100 movie set, as they seemed to only have one. Even so, the 50 set for a mere $20 isn't too bad, and either is too good a price to pass up. heart Most of all, both sets have Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, so I'm really happy about that. mrgreen Either way you slice it, all the other movies with it seem like hours upon hours of good cheesy sci-fi fun! ^__^ If I get it, guaranteed I'll be yammering about it in some way or another.

For some reason, before I got my dvd player, I did try to use the one on my home comp. But alas, it proved to be too tempermental to be truly usable.

For those of you interested, CW and I were talking in PMs about starting a fantasy RP for this guild to enjoy.
