Tori watched as Kaji walked over to the Pewter Gym. She just stood there and smiled like an idiot. When he called out to her, she snapped out of the daze she was in and started to run towards him. The door closed before she could get inside and she ran straight into it. BAM!! She flew back a little and landed on her butt. Tori held onto Kiwi tightly so she didn't get hurt more.

"You could have held the door open.. Jerk!!" She used her free hand to push herself off the ground and entered the gym. Tori didn't even bother look around for Kaji, she just stood there and looked around.

What to do? What to do? That last attack didn't seem to have worked very well, tumbling backwards does tend to mess up your aim. And now the angry, snarling Rattata was still being mean and trying to attack. It was crouched low snarling madly at Twinkers, focusing its sights on the small pink star-shaped pokemon that intruded on its turf. The Rattata obviously wanted the next attack to really count.

"Its not attacking?" thought Twinkers. "Good, it can do that some more!". Twinkers clapped and cheered demanding an Encore. "That was great! I really want to see that again, okay?" the small Cleffa asked as cutely as she could.

"Defense Curl!" Jeremy called out. "Get through that sand!"

Without hesitation, the Clefairy brought herself into a curl just as the storm passed by. The little bits and pieces of sand did its damage and stung her wounds, but she knew she had to get in there. Both she and Jeremy knew what type Larvitar was and if she was to do any serious damage, she needed to get close.

As M.A. waited for Bugsy's response, Ky took the time to head over towards the nearby bleachers and find a seat to watch the battle from. Little Guy and Sting followed closely (not that Little Guy had a choice in the matter), and watched quietly as well. Ky fiddled with his Hive Badge a bit, recalling the battle he had just yesterday. He remembered just how much the Gym match brought out of his Pokemon. Sting showed more guts than Ky had ever seen, matching up to the Psy-wielding Butterfree and throwing his all into every punch. Little Guy surprised him just as much, both by his excellent use of his dive-style flying and his careful and precise timing of his attacks against Bugsy's Scyther. If Ky could have said one last thing to M.A., he would have told her that she should expect the same things from her Pokemon, and that they would fight better knowing that. Of course, seeing the close bond that she had with them, it was hard to doubt that they thought that already.

"Thought you might do that. Larvitar, Rock Slide!" Larvitar let go of the sand storm and watched as the Clefairy ventured into the vortex. Grinning, he thrust his hands into the earth and pulled them up, sending large bits of earth and rock sailing through the air at the Clefairy.

Bahamut's dive managed to do a decent amount of damage to the Muk. However the dive caused her to become stuck in the goopy pokemon. Vibrating her wing's as fast as she could she found that she couldn't really escape her hold. Not sure what to do exactly Dante just watched as Bahamut did her best to try to escape the other pokemon's grasp.

"Hmm... Since they are so close I think it would be a good time to use that new TM." Derik mumbled to himself. Adjusting his glasses once more he spoke up louder an clearer in order to give the comand. "Muk, use Explosion."

The moment Dante heard that a surprised look appeared on his face. "What Explosion?! Bahamut get out of there!" Was all he managed to say before the Muk started to glow.

Bahamut who was startled by all of this stared up at her trainer with her big goggled eye's not quite understanding. However when the Muk started to glow she started to panic doing her best to try and get out of him. It was no use though, she was stuck and could not avoid the attack. The Muk Exploaded with a big bang taking himself and Bahamut out with him. When the dust finally cleared Bahamut was lying on the ground a few feet away from the puddle of goo that was the passed out Muk.

Seeing Bahamut like that Dante immediatly recalled her, he didn't care if she got up in a second he only wanted her off of the battle feild. Across from him Derik did the same, even though there was no chance of Muk getting back up again. Not even really thinking about his next Pokemon Dante reached down to his belt and grabbed the ball containing his most trusted pokemon.

"It look's like both trainer's pokemon were taken out at the same time!" Missie called from her announcer's box. "Let's see what they send out now."

Dispite Dante grabbing his ball first Derik was the first to send his new pokemon out. A large bat like creature with a big mouth, a Golbat. It screeched a few times and flew around the arena happily. 'Humph, you call that an enterance?' He thought as he watched the bat fly around. "All right let's go Apollo." He called with a smirk as he tossed the Safari Ball out. Bursting out of his Safari Ball in a burst of black and white flames Apollo stomped his hooves hard on the ground. Upon seeing the rare and strangly colored pokemon the crowd burst out into chear's.

"All right, it look's like it is Derik's Golbat vs. Dante's Rapidash! GO!"

Pikachu braced itself and stood against the wind. Train knew it wouldn't take much more. "Pikachu, one more Thundershock, finish it off!" She called, and Pikachu let out another Thundershock, zapping the Pidgey dead on.

Pidgey squaked and fainted. It lay on the ground as Brian returned it to it's pokeball and said, "You did a good job." Then he clipped it back onto his belt and pulled off another one. "Spearow!" The pokemon cried as it appeared on the field.

"You going to switch pokemon?" Brian asked Train.

Train shook her head. "Nah, I'll stick with Pikachu here. He's done a good job, and by the look on his face, he wants to keep going." She replied. It was true, too. Pikachu had a look of determination on it's face.

Allegra circled around once more, keeping her gaze fixed on the infatuated Rattata in front of her. She could feel a bruise forming on her chest from where he'd attacked her, although now the rat showed no signs that such a thing had even happened. He watched her every movement with a dopey sort of grin etched onto his face, each whisker twitching excitedly. She cast a quick glance towards Twinkers, who seemed to be holding her own for now. The kitten turned back to her own opponent, who for a moment, had seemed to regain his senses for a moment. Allie let out a growl and dashed forward, rearing back and using a Doubleslap attack on him. One, two, three times her tiny paws made contact with the Rattata's face. Her attack complete, the Skitty hopped back, preparing to defend if attacked. She relaxed a little when an attack never came; for the time being, infatuation was working in her favor.

The electricity coiled around the Vigoroth, traveling up its spine and causing the joints and muscles in its body to all seize up at once. The Wild Monkey had pulled itself to its feet again only to topple over forwards as its body was consumed by paralysis.

Upon seeing the success of her Thunder Wave, Shocker relaxed a little, taking a moment to check out the wounds on her belly. They weren't as serious as she initially thought; they were barely even bleeding. The Raichu cast a glance over her shoulder at her trainer, and nodded, letting the girl know she had everything under control. Kasiya grinned and stepped back - it was always a learning experience to see how well a Pokemon could do on its own. She didn't know how much the Vigoroth had left in it, but she was certain that Shocker could get the job done. She refrained from shouting out a command, and placed her hands on her hips, silently encouraging the first Pokemon she'd ever captured.

Shocker rubbed her paws together, letting the electricity that had gathered up in her body run freely over her. All at once the crackling of sparks stopped, and the Raichu burst into a dead run, ramming into the Vigoroth with a Quick Attack. The mouse wasn't quick enough to get away, though, as her opponent found the temporary freedom in his muscles to reach out and grab her long tail with its clawed hands. The white monkey stood up, dragging Shocker by her appendage, and quickly Countered her attack, sending the smaller Pokemon skidding back a few feet.

As he waited in the Center, the television flickered the images of his previous battle with Rebecca. It was odd seeing himself battle. The taunts, the smirks, the overall attitude didn't seem like the Kilik he thought he was. Although, there it was in plain sight. "Wow. I guess I don't see myself that way," he chuckled. A ding went off, signaling the boy's Pokemon were healed. He hopped off the couch and headed towards the counter, receiving his Pokeballs and clipping them back onto his belt.

He waved good-bye to the Nurse and stepped out of the building. Although he was tired, his loss forced one thing upon him: train his Lairon to evolve. He thought for a moment. "Where's a place I've been with strong Pokemon that Lairon can battle..." he placed a hand on his chin. Then it clicked.

"Cinnabar Island! That mansion has got Pokemon Lairon can battle that'll give him some lovely experience!" He got on bended knee and swung his bag over his shoulder. Then he paused, stood back up and sighed. "I can't get to Cinnabar..." he sighed, "I've got nothing to...Oh I'm an idiot!" He grabbed Ludicolo's Pokeball and smiled at it. "You can Surf. You'll take me to Cinnabar." With a nod and clipping the ball to his belt, he headed off in the direction of the Bicycle Path. He hummed lightly to himself.

"Gonna get an Aggron! Not a Magneton or a Jolteon, but an Aggron!" he sang to himself, now tossing Lairon's ball up and down. Kilik looked up at the Celadon Department store as he passed, his smile fading. "Mai..." he whispered, shaking his head. Kilik shook the memory out and began to run towards the bike path.

Flametail sighed as it found no trainers. Ray kneeled in front of it and rubbed his Charmander's head. "I think I know what you are up to, but don't worry. We'll find a way." He stood up and noticed a building with a familiar symbol on it. "That looks familiar!" He pulled out one of his pokeballs. Flametail panicked and ran in circles. Ray began to laugh, "Silly. I'm not putting you in it. I'm looking at it, since it looks like that symbol on that building." The Charmander sighed in relief and wiped the sweat off his forehead. He started to walk towards the building while his Charmander followed. "I don't get why you're still afraid of the pokeball." Flametail thought to himself, knowing why he was scared of it.

Kasiya took a worried step forward, but stopped as she saw her Raichu quickly pulled herself to her feet, and brush herself off. The electric mouse didn't look hurt, or even tired in the slightest. In fact, Shocker looked downright angry, evident by the glare she was shooting at the offending Vigoroth, and the telltale shower of golden static bolts that were scattering on the ground around her feet. "Rai!" she shouted, pointing at the Pokemon before her. The Vigoroth was still having quite a time fighting off the paralysis that it'd been afflicted with a few rounds ago, but even had he been at his full agility it wouldn't have saved him. Shocker stood as tall as she could, raising both paws high into the sky. The atmosphere around them was suddenly saturated with electrical energy, causing the flyaway hair on many of the nearby spectators to stand on end. The Raichu let out an enraged growl, closing her eyes and bringing both paws down towards the ground in front of her. A single bolt of lightning shot out of the sky, illuminating the entire area with a bright burst of light. The resonating chorus of thunder followed, and once visibility had returned to normal, Vigoroth lay on the ground, about five feet back from where it had been previously standing, unable to battle.

Brock had been lounging around on one of the large boulders in the back of the gyam awaiting another challenger. There hadn't been any decent ones since that 'Train' girl showed up, though she was a bit inexperienced for the task she attemtped. Brock managed to pull himself out of his laying pose and jumped down to greet the challenger.

He saw the boy in his red coat and his friend standing somewhat timidly behind. A slight frown came on his face at the sight of another Pikachu. Too many young trainers had come in with them trying to damage Brock's part ground type pokemon and finding out it wouldn't work.

"Welcome to the Pewter Gym. I hope you plan on using more than just your Pikachu since it'll fail miserably on its own." He said to the young boy.

Linalee followed the Charmander at a distance and then noticed a trainer that he seemed to belong to. She sighed a little, a wild Charmander in a city would have been a great find. But deciding to say hello to the trainer couldn't be a bad idea either.

"Hey you! You with the Charmander!" Linalee said rushing over.

He chuckled a bit. "Well we'll see what happens, a Pokemon battle is more then type you know. Though I dont expect to win anyway.." he was upbeat and cheery. He was much like his father, Trace Kyousei. He had put his hand out to greet Brock with a handshake, though he didn't expect to win.. There was no doubt of the confidence he had in his eyes.

Rei almost took offense to her ego as she looked at Brock with a determined eye to win, baring her teeth in a competitive smile. "Pika pikachu.." the competitive spirit made herself known to Brock
