Carbuncle formed a small barrier over the scientist "He shouldn't be able to go anywhere now so we can take out these guys" Ulquiorra stated
"Looks like we keep going this way" Seph replied clamly walking ahead "There is more than one way to warp. For example you remember Alpha mentioning gate keepers? Those people can warp however they please, other people like kurgan have to make a pact. Just try not to get warp confused with teleport"
Alpha shrugged "This place doesn't seem so bad. I wonder if i can pop this bubble" He casually cast firaga into the darkness. Arisu appeared behind Zadina slamming his fist into the magicians back.

Gareth paused a moment casting various protective enchantments on the party "Senitinel.....Protect...." he muttered.
Itaka sliced into another "they don't seem to care much for defense"
Suddenly a dark portal similar to Kurgan's one appeared at the scientist.
"What? Since when could they do that?" Itaka roared kicking another back.
Gareth appeared summoned by the sentinel spell in front of the scientist and slammed his fist into the elf's stomach.
Zadina grunted "Urk....I was careless....the summon" he disappeared and reappeared in a protective bubble with green sparks around him "Curaja" he muttered. "Now the summoner is not yet a master so I should be able to do this" he held his hand up "The anti-summon spell BANISH!" he said as he severed Arisu's connection to Ulquiorra.
Meanwhile Dargrim was still fighting off monsters in the dark pool.
A number of fiery fiends appeared where Alpha's fireball struck.
Oassu stepped out into the hall. A giant 3-headed hound stood there slobbering down at them. It's small beady eyes picking out the three adventurers.
"Bad doggy...." Oassu said uncertainly

Ulquiorra frowned "It would seem Satoshi's group are also having trouble. I've just lost contact with Arisu meaning that he either dismissed himself, died or was banished" she informed them while casting a thundaga spell at the elves.
"Theres always a catch" Alpha grinned cutting through one of the fiends with his claws.
"Oh great, we've got trapped in with a cerbrus. I'm taking down the middle head!" Seph claimed while charging towards the beast.

Oassu gazed after Seph shocked "Hey!!! You can't just take on that thing it's got three heads!"
Moving with surprising speed a head launched straight forward at Seph snapping.
The fiends destroyed by Alpha exploded into a murky oily substance sticking to Alpha. While the remains of the fiend divided and absorbed the darkness around him growing into clones of the first one. With vicious smiles on their faces.
Zadina looked at the dissipating summon before turning to Satoshi's bubble "It seems she hasn't taken the bait....I'll need to think of something"

"Three heads, three people. Put two and two together" Seph called back dodging the head.
Alpha sighed "Looks like I fell into a trap." he hung back waiting for the fiends to come and attack him "If they are going to do that every time I kill them I will just have to be more defensive." He swiftly moved out the way of a fiend heading toward him.

Satoshi sat in her bubble with her eyes closed "Boring!" she shouted taunting Zadina.
Felina hesitated "I guess she has a point" She fired an arrow into the head that had tried to attack Seph a moment ago.
"Can't you just resummon?" Hayate asked casting watera at an elf that tried to attack Itaka from behind

Zadina released Satoshi from the bubble "You refuse to entertain me...I'll just have to deal with you myself" he said raising his hands.
Dargrim meanwhile was laughing "Harhar! Come on try and take me down!" he cried as he clevaed through the increasing ranks of the creatures.
Oassu gulped before launching himself forward after Seph
Itaka grinned as the last of the elves was put through a door by Gareth he rounded on the remaining scientist "Tell me what happened...now!" he added

Satoshi looked around slightly surprised that she was the only one released, "You can have your entertainment in a minute or two" She teleported into one of the bubbles. She spotted Alpha and grabbed hold of him teleporting into the next bubble to fetch Dargrim and teleported them outside the bubbles "You guys owe me" she grinned.
Felina dodged a Flare spell that one of the heads cast. The other heads used the sme attack only aimed at Seph and Oassu.

"Awww but couldn't you see we were having the time of our lives" Alpha complained.
Seph moved out the way of the attack casting a flare of her own, hitting the head on the left directly in the face.
Ulquiorra brushed herself off "I could resummon if he wanted to be out but otherwise I'm not strong enough to force him out again" She answered Hayate then turned to the scientist "Could you please tell us what happened"

Dargrim grunted "I've had me warm up now!"
Zadina frowned and gritted his teeth.
"Ninja....how I loathe them" He raised a palm and it began to glow white "I'll have to cut off your power"
Oassu cried out as the flare hit him.
Cerebrus turned it's other heads in the direction of the pain focusing on Seph.
The scientist whimpered "The serum....of darkness. It's results....the prototypes" he said indicating the bodies. "More....ahead...worse...." he coughed up some blood "infection...." he muttered.

"Magicians... how I loathe them" Satoshi launched a punch into Zadina's face causing his palm to stop glowing "We don't want to let you concentrate on you magic do we now"
Hearing Oassu cry out Felina went over to him and cast a curaga spell "Try to stay in one piece for me" She told him before heading back to cast a holy spell.
"What do you mean infection? Isn't that what the serum is meant to do?" Hayate asked concerned

As Zadina fell back a grin appeared on his face. His foot launched out and connected with Satoshi's midriff, it glowed white for a second before spreading out to all across her body. Zadina fell into a dark portal before reappearing out of a portal on the other side of the room. "curaga" he muttered chuckling "Right about now your chakra points are rapidly and simultaneously being cut off"
(forgive me Neji)
As the fire cleared a small log remained where Oassu had been.
"HIYAAAH!" he cried as he dropped from the ceiling onto the dogs head.
The Scientist began to laugh...maniacally "No ...power...only..."
Suddenly the scientist launched himself at Itaka but bounced back at the bubble.
Itaka lower his sword "Time to put him out of his misery"

"I'm sure she can manage without it" Alpha cut in sending a wave of energy directly into zadina's chest forcing him back against the wall.
"Looks like you can learn things after all" Seph shouted to Oassu pretending to be surprised. She raised her sword into one of the creatures heads. The head let out a giant cry before falling towards the floor.
"We can always leave him here. That bubble won't break easily" Ulquiorra suggested

Satoshi grinned "I can always beat you the old fashioned way." At that she drew a short, slightly curved sword.
"Good job Seph!" Felina said quickly having to cast reflect as another flare was fired at her. The spell bounced off and hit the ceiling causing dust and more water to fall on her.
Hayate walked past the scientist ignoring him "Do whatever you want with him just make sure he can't try anything"

Zadina grunted then laughed and sent an energy wave three times as strong as Alpha's back at them knocking them off their feet.
Dargrim struggled to get up in his armour "Aye! This ain't fair....dwarves cannae get up from their backs!!!"
"Hmhmhm you can't hope to defeat me...accept you fate" He raised his hands and dark vines stretched out from them
Gareth raised his hand above the elf muttering slightly as the elf quivered and shook before collapsing on the ground. "I have purged the evil from his body...we were lucky the effects were just beginning to kick in though I fear the next ones will be too advanced for my purging"
Oassu held on tight as the Beast shook around and fired two flare blasts at Felina.
