Hearing the scream kira dashed out only managing to throw a towel around herself.pulling khalid off ryou she steped down on his neck pressing down hard "WHAT THE HELL DID I SAY!?!" she yelled at him waiting for him to pass out from lack of air.

Ryou, his brain noting the lack of threat, immediatly relaxed into a mindless state as he watched Khalid pass out. But as the Egyptian slipped into a state of unconsciousness, the barrier that he formed between Ryou and Bakura also slipped away. When Ryou felt the reconnection with his yami, he remembered what Bakura had told him. Not wanting to be hurt any more than before, he quickly recalled where he was. He reported, glancing up silently to Kira's face.
Bakura said, a smirk on his face. Remembering that he hadn't told Ryou who Khalid was, he quickly sent over a background of the man, but also told Ryou that Khalid was a complete threat. He then rose to his feet, instruction Ryou to do everything in his power to keep Kira where she was.

Kira frowned and kicked khalid away pissed.She then turned to ryou shighing softly "Oh ryou.." she said gently touching his cheak lifting his chin slightly so she was looking right into his eyes.Summoing the power of the eye she tried her hardest to recover any memories he had.

But nothing came to the boy. He matched Kira's gaze for a little bit, but seemed to grow bored after a moment and chose to gaze at a spot a little over Kira's shoulder, not quite looking at her in her eye anymore.

kira frowned taking in a deep breath from using alot of energy.At a last ditch effot she closed her eyes and leaned down kissing him softly on the lips.

Ryou stiffened first in surprise. Although he had no memory of it at the time, he had never been kissed so gently like this. Every other time had been rough or against his will, mostly both at once. A deep shock ran through him, traveling over to Bakura, even. Ryou felt as though something seemed to open inside of him, and everything came flowing back into him. Khalid, who had his mind set, and Bakura, who thought that what he did was usually as he wanted, were both wrong. Bakura hadn't destroyed the boy's memories; that was impossible to fully do that. Instead they had only been locked away deeply, not to be reached by Millennium Items of any sort.
The normal Ryou once again, he paused for a moment as he tried to see what was happening. His arms came up and wrapped gently around Kira's waist, feeling as though this shouldn't be true. As though he, who had lived the mast part of his life in fear, shame, and pain, shouldn't be allowed to this happiness. Tears formed in the corners of his eyes as he closed them, feeling the lightest drops trickle down his cheeks.

Gently parting the kiss when she felt his arms around her she opened her eyes looking at him "Are you ok?" she asked wanting to know if ryou was back to normal.You could see the consern in her eyes.She was only slightly taler than ryou and was able to look down on him her hand still gently resting on his cheak.

Ryou's face had lost the blank expression it had had just moments ago. He seemed slightly shocked, since Khalid had warned him that if Bakura destroyed his memories there would be barely any hope of getting him back. But here he was.
"Yeah... I think so..." He murmured, glancing down to check his body. He saw his bleeding wrist and arm-- from where Khalid had slashed him-- first, then noticed the bruises that dotted his body as well. But at least those were minor. "How'd this happen?" He was referring to how he had gotten his memories back, and not his injuries, since he could clearly see all that had happened while his mindless self was in control.

Tears started to fill up her eyes.She was so happy he was ok "I dunno..I just kissed you and...oh ryou." she hugged him tight and started crying so happy that he was back to normal "your ok..."

Ryou embraced Kira in return, still sorting through a few things in his mind. "At least I didn't do anything incredibly stupid when--" He started to say, then froze. He just remembered something his 'other' self did. "Wait. I-- he?-- told Bakura where you were. Bakura sent him-- me?-- to get you so that he could get the Millennium Eye." Ryou bit his bottom lip, knowing that Bakura was probably on his way over now and that there was always the chance that his mind could easily be wiped again. He glanced towards the unconscious form of Khalid on the ground, wishing slightly that Khalid was awake so they might have some proctection against Bakura.
But what Ryou thought wasn't true. When the tremor passed through Ryou's mind and into Bakura's, the tomb-robber, in a hurry to get to Kira's house, was crossing a street when the light was just changing to green. He would've made it across if he hadn't been chilled by the feeling that washed through him, passed along by Ryou. A car hit him head on, immediatly breaking his legs before tossing him slightly to the right to be hit by another car. By that time Bakura had regained his senses, the effects fading off of him, and he managed to throw his arms up to guard his head as best he could. He still got hit on his head, but it wasn't fatal. On the very edge of passing out, Bakura's pain lashed out, though not meaning to hurt Ryou. Only to inform his hikari that he was in trouble, as a natural reflex his mind had.
Ryou quickly moved his gaze away from Khalid, stumbling slightly away from Kira as Bakura's pain ripped through his own body. It was only for a second or two in the long run, but it left his head with an awful ache. Every heartbeat made it throb, and he could barely move without hurting his head. His back hit the wall, sending another painful jolt to his head, and he slid to the floor, cradling his head as gently as he could.
Then Ryou did something he couldn't believe he did. Trying his best to push away the pain, he reached out with his mind and found Bakura's link. He questioned gently, finding a strange absence of his yami anywhere. Was this what happened when you fainted? He grew slightly panicked, wondering what would happen to him if Bakura died. Since Bakura was the host body, if he died that meant Ryou died. But Ryou found that he was still alive and well, despite his pains.
Another thing Ryou found odd was that he had access to Bakura's memories and mind for the first time ever. He could sort through them just as easily as Bakura could sort through Ryou's. There were no defenses at all. Ryou, though, was in too much pain to take enough time to look through Bakura's mind right then. Hopefully his yami would stay in whatever state he was in for long enough for Ryou to take some medecine and go back. Although Ryou wouldn't be too hung up that he couldn't look through Bakura's mind. It was probably full of blood lusty thoughts and things he'd rather not think about.

A jolt shook through Khalid, though it wasn't visible to the others. It was from his Millennium Items, giving off just a little more energy than he had to wake up Kira. Fate had decided to answer him at last, though not about the Ryou issue. There was a sudden change in what was meant to happen, which immediatly alerted Khalid. As he started to wake up, even before he could open his eyes, Khalid was given the knowledge of what happened. Kira knocked him out and struggled to try and bring the real Ryou back, which Khalid had deemed impossible. She then, desperate, kissed the boy, which somehow brought Ryou back around. But Ryou was deeply shocked by this action, which was so strong that it reached Bakura, who was hit twice by cars; once to break his leg, and another time to hit him on his head and send the tomb-robber into a coma.
Coma. The word rang through Khalid as he opened his eyes and sat up, not noticing that Ryou had been struck with a recoil of Bakura's injury. Well, this wasn't good. If Bakura was in a coma, he'd be deep into unconsciousness for who knew how long. Sometimes it was long and other times it was shorter. If it was too long, fate could just grow around the idea that the tomb robber wasn't going to be absent from the whole world. Khalid wondered how many people would take advantage of this situation: Ryou would find it a time to relax and regain himself; Kira would be happier-- Khalid wasn't too sure about her; Atem would go off and busy himself in other things, too ashamed to really go around Ryou too much; and there might be others who would relax.
Khalid knew that Bakura was supposed to be awake and active, so he should go over and try to awaken him, but when he glanced over at Ryou, huddled against the wall, holding his head for some relief, his emotions took over for a moment. It would only be fair to leave Bakura in his state and allow what was to happen, happen. Fate adjusted to Ryou being alive again, it could surely deal with Bakura slipping out of its plans for a little bit. Fate went on forever, so a month or so wouldn't matter.

Kira quickly rushed to ryou's side "ryou whats wrong?" she asked putting a gentle hand on his shoulder.

"My head..." Ryou murmured, his eyes closed. "I think something happened to Bakura and it affected me as well..." That much Ryou could wrap his mind around. As soon as his head stopped pounding so violently, things would be clearer.
Khalid rose to his feet, knowing that he'd either have to stick with Kira and Ryou or go over to Bakura. If he went to Bakura he'd have to wake the tomb robber, and his instincts were telling him to stay with these two. Moving over to stand behind Kira, he nodded his head solemnly. "Bakura's in a coma right now. What you're feeling is a recoil from his injury."

kira was still pissed at khalid so she was completly ignoring him.Gently picking ryou she sent him on the couch then went into the bathroom to get him asprin.She still hadent relised she was only dressed in a towel and was still wet from the shower.

Ryou didn't have time yet to register Kira's outfit and Khalid was too solemn to mention or take note of it. Ryou glanced up at Khalid, who had followed the two of them over to the couch. "Thank you," Ryou said faintly, "For giving Kira the letter. Which I'm guessing you did..." He closed his eyes after that, not seeing the small nod Khalid gave and only opened them when he heard Khalid walking away, towards the door. "Where you going?"
Khalid paused by the front door, putting one hand on the knob, ready to leave. "I was mistaken in my choices earlier. Now I have to go fix something and try to get Bakura back." He said simply, feeling as though he was being pulled along by fate. This seemed to be Khalid's fault to him. Since he had deemed, before, Ryou unable to return to normal and just killed him, then Kira wouldn't have freed his memories and Bakura would be over here by now. Because he had been making up his mind to leave Bakura alone, the forces around Khalid seemed to have grown stronger, telling him to go to Bakura.
