Feh.
Imma freshman at FRHS!! WOOT!!! we got like...12th place out of state competitions and all. The summer was torture cos we had to go out in wonderful 95+ weather every day.^^
anywho
i sound pretty
but i like teh french horn too
so i take separate lessions for it

I have been playing for about 10 to 12 year eek Long time.....

I play bass and alto clarinet 3nodding

hello. im new here. i just joined last night. ive been playing clarinet for.... lets see... this is my 6 year. since 5 grade. my school does marching band, concert band and we also have a steel drum band. we have 3 choirs to but yeah.we are very competitve but we play at all our home football games. we have a jazz band too. and we have our winter concert tonight. i'm so happy! i only really know how to play one instrument. i tried to learn sax but i only learned the scale and i know how to play the scale on flute, but that is about it.

I play the clarinet and bass clarinet i also play the flute but i have just started. Ive been a clarinetist for 6 years now and i dont plan on stopping. I am first chair in my band and loving it. I am also the loudest its flipping awesome.

hey!! I hav been playing the clarinet for 6 or 7 years and my mom played it to! and I only have 1 thing to say(for right now!!!lol) CLARINETS KICK BRASS!!!! my freshman year(now a junior) at my high school my section leader came up with that and the clarinet section has been saying it ever since!!!

Hello, fellow clarinetists! I have been playing for...six years, I think. Since sixth grade, because that's the earliest our school system offers it. >.< I wish they offered band in fourth grade, since they offer orchestra, but no, of course not. Anyway, I'm ranting now. I also sort of play saxophone, but I only started last year and CLARINET IS WAY BETTER! Though I wouldn't say that to the saxophonists in my band (I'd probably be raped and murdered)...I really don't know what else to say. Hmm.

WOOT! i play clarinet in my band, and im also assistant director and assistant drum major. I am section leader, and have mad skills... i suck at sight reading, but am skilled at everything else... i am an 8th grader who can play college level music..... domokun YEAH! we played the original pirates of the carribean music today... UN-EDITED! i wuz the only one in my section who could play it all....

in my band, we play hard level 3 to mid level 4 music.... CUZ WE R TIGHT LIKE THAT!!!

we also are a marching band, and we kinda suck, but we got like 15 trophies, and all that.... at the band reviews, we usually beat like all the high schools there except for like 2-3... but even then, we are only like .2 points away from tying with them.... mrgreen YEAH.....

here, check us out!

OH! and before i forget, we are going to hawaii in like march next year.... to play for the hawaiian festival parade or something like that... and we are also playing with the marine corp band!!!! so yea.... ur hatin!

[edit] I FORGOT! i have been playing clarinet for like a year now, and i started playing tenor sax at the beginning of the school year... like in august... im in the jazz band too![/edit]

Bonjour, fellow clarinetists! Let me just say, the clarinet is the BEST instrument ever! I've got a sister who plays the trumpet, and her ego is so big, I swear! What is it with brass players? Just because they're all that and a bag of chips in marching band. We totally rule concert season! Well I'm a freshman, and this year was my first year of marching band, and it's AMAZING! heart I've been playing for ... let's see ... 4 and a half years now. I'm learning to play alto sax, but it's nowhere near as amazing as the clarinet. I wouldn't be learning alto if clarinets were allowed in jazz band, but just because we can't bend notes or use vibrato ... it's so ... instrument racist. stare

that last sentence is SO true! but actually clarinets can do a vibrato, but its kinda crappy unless you practice... i have to learn tenor sax cuz my school jazz band doesnt have clarinets.... now i play tenor too, but its not EVEN close to the awesomeness of the CLARINET!!!!
